WENDY
"No wideband communication is secure from eavesdropping," "If you have tightband capability, I can relay co-ordinates and directional vectoring. You'll have to relay the same otherwise half the black will be hearing my half of the conversation. We can encrypt but my system isn't exactly state of the art. And yes, I am alone. No passengers this trip."
Wendy received the information and sent him hers in return. She activated the programming and began the encrypting sequence.
"Now who the hell are you and what's with all the secrecy?"
A couple last quick taps and she activated the video feed. "Wendy Carter," she said as her image came to life on the vid screen. "Apologize for the lack of pleasantries but time is not on my side. I'm calling in the favor you owe me."

WENDY
"Done and done," "Tell me where and when and I'll be there."
His easy agreement to assist even before knowing any of the details was an enormous relief. Thank goodness for the few honorable men left in the 'verse. "Hera. Gambler's Run," she decided. It would be easy to slip away from the crew amongst the bustling gaming halls and saloons.
"Now that I'm committed, care to fill me in on what I'm going to be doing?" "Hey, hello, long time no see, by the way. What sort of trouble are you in that forces you to track me down by tightband and make sure I'm solo? Obviously nothing official."
Wendy couldn't help the small laugh that bubbled up. She was tired and overwhelmed and it was getting to her. "The kind of trouble that can't be summarized without sounding like a crazy person. I owe you a full explanation once aboard but you are correct. Nothing official. I'm no longer official. I'm on the run." Remembering that Cavanaugh was on good terms with the Alliance, Wendy's brow creased in concern. "Is that going to be a problem?"

"Only for anybody trying to catch you," Cav replied. With deft fingers he ran the course change through his navigational computer. "I'm fully fueled, so I can go maximum burn. As long as I can keep the ship from shaking apart, I'll be there before you wake up from your next nap. You're going to lose contact as soon as I punch it. Any last words?"
"Thank you, Cavanaugh" she said in complete sincerity.
Wendy disconnected the call and let out a sigh of relief. She began to form a plan while heading out to gather the crew.
