I don't want him! xD But want have him around of course! I'd like if Merle would be the first person who meets up with him. I already had an idea about that, posted here in the thread a while ago. I think Jester wanted to play him actually...

I remember Jester saying he did want him in the interest thread but he hasn't created a bio for him in the Request a Character thread and it's been quite some time. We've kinda reached a point where we actually need The Gov, though. So my suggestion would be, if Jester doesn't want to create the character or doesn't foresee himself doing it over the next week or so, that we either let Kevin throw his hat in or let Kevin temp the character until the day that Jester does want the character.

Not gonna lie, I was all amped to do it then watched season 3 well half watched it... well like two discs worth and it just killed any love for anything Walking I had left. I tried to do the bio many times, but could never get it finished it'd just sit there and I stare at it and it just wasn't working.

Ilona, I was wondering if you would be okay with having Merle in woodbury when our group gets there. I saw your post before and I was thinking we could play out how he joined the governor in another thread where they met, outside of woodbury. it could be a side rpg about their origins. what do you think? Yah, I would love that! As I said at the start, I don't want Merle to be the Gov's dog, so they should have met and became... well, let's say fellows instead of friends. xD We can decide while playing lol! Oh ahm, don't know if you reread or remember. Here in the thread I had asked if Merle maybe could have met the Gov before his daughter died. Do you wanted to do the rpg that way or did you just mean that they shouldn't meet in Woodbury?

I'm pretty sure his daughter was already dead by the time Merle left the Atlanta camp (handcuffed to the rooftop). we can have them meet though, and of course they don't need to be friends. all the more reason then that when Daryl leaves Woodbury, Merle would probably go with him right?
P.S. I was thinking they could meet at the Georgia State National Guard Armory, during a supply run from the town. That's why I created that location. for us to do that side rpg

Yah, probably. As I said, we can just look what happens between them, if it's like "friends" or more like "foe". Yah, later on I'd like Merle to be a part of the group - of course with an egoistic point of view, but wanna have him around xD Merle just left Atlanta Downtown to find his little brother. So I'm fine with every place, as he has no special destination.

Amelia, I think to remember that we wanted to let some time pass on Andrea and Michonne. And I think we wanted the two of them run into the pharmacy group, right? When shall we do that? Storyteller

Hey Kevin, when shall we get our meeting with Gov and Merle started? It will take place in the past, right? Just like an event thread? Shall I do a Merle post there first or do you maybe want to start with the Gov? Maybe we should think about a starting situation...

Well if you'd like I could start with the governor since I was thinking they where there to take supplies for Woodbury and Merle sees them first? Unless you wanted them to walk in on him raiding the place? Could go either way

Totally just realized I never responded to this! I don't think the pharmacy group is ready for them yet. Since they've all kinda just met. I'd say let them get back to camp and then maybe we can do a time jump. Maybe find something for Andrea and Michonne to do in the meantime. We could even time jump with them a bit in the future, since I think they are a few days behind the other Greene farm survivors.

As for the Gov/Merle: No, I'd be totally fine with that! So just start there a post when you feel for it! As for the Andrea/Michonne: You're right. Would be better if the others do know each other better first. And I'm looking forward to a rp in the meantime with just the two of them or maybe someone who wants to play any other char for a while to join them

Uhm Kevin, would you mind if Merle and the Gov yet become something like friends, maybe even more like it ever has been mentioned in the show? I even would Merle let do some dirty work for the Govenor, but in a little other way as in the show... not like a dog, y'know? I thought about it would be more interesting, something like an inner conflict, when Merle is in Woodbury and the group with his brother are not so good with the Govenor. As we don't have Andrea there, like she was in the show, we wouldn't see the "good side" of the Govenor. Well, you know what I mean. Plus the way the Govenor asked him about his story, I just didn't feel like Merle would become a foe to him. ^^ Liked the Gov's acting in that scene very much btw! Medieval Kevin

Ilona, yeah lets run with that! Without Andrea he needs someone close that he might actually call a friend. given the way they met this time around (since we never saw it on the show) they could have built up something more than just mutually beneficial and instead more dare I say, brother-like in the months between the national guard armory and when the group comes through the gates to woodbury. and if we want to, that also lets us do more flashbacks of their time together in other locations!

Of course this means I have to take back what I said about Daryl. Since when I said he would leave the group and go out on his own, that was before I knew Merle was actually going to be in Woodbury when they got there! lol Now he will be trying to get Merle to leave with him. I still don't think he would want to stay. Would Merle try and talk him into staying? either way it will make for an interesting story. because if you leave with Daryl then the governor will send men to kill us both, he would probably feel a little betrayed hehe. Funny then I would be trying to kill myself :-O

Omg, all of that sounds fun already here! xD I totally forgot about you wanted to seperate Daryl from the others. But as you seem to be ok with the Merle plot, it should be fine, right? I'd suggest to look where our brains are going to, hehe.

Hey Amelia, I'd have an idea for a meantime RP with Andrea and Michonne. As I don't want Merle to be in Woodbury, when the group arrives there, I said he maybe could be on a mission for the Governor or something like that. If you would like, we could let the two of them ran into him. In the end they somehow could split up again... maybe because Michonne doesn't trust Merle and takes Andrea with her. Well, I'm actually sure Andrea doesn't trust him either. This way I would have something to do for Merle too, till he shows up at Woodbury. Storyteller

That sounds interesting! I think that Andrea would be inclined to be wary of Merle at this point. I guess that will make it a little bit of a time jump for Michonne and Andrea to catch up with everyone else.

Shiny! Well, as the RPs with Merle and Joe in Downtown and the one with meeting the Governor in the armory take place some time before the group left the farm (Kevin mentioned that in the timeline), Merle should have been in Woodbury for a while, and Michonne and Andrea maybe travelling together for a while too? I'm getting a little confused about our timelines... just like the flashbacks in Ouat lol. xD

I do too! To make it simple, I'm just thinking of our main group of survivors vs Andrea and Michonne.
Our Andrea/Michonne thread was right after the farm was overrun. According to the timeline, our core group finds Woodbury five days after that (probably four days after Andrea and Michonne leave the cabin). So it should jump them four days? I think? Hahaha.
Question for our core group (and The Governor of All Evil) I didn't realize we spent so little time on the road. Do we want to be out there a little more so our survivors get that group function we see in the beginning of season three and then end up back in Woodbury as Lori's due date approaches? Maybe The Governor turns them away or offers them a place in the town at a price they aren't desperate enough to pay yet?

To be honest, when we started the thread with the main group on the road, I thought they maybe would have driven for a while, not only a day. :/ Ahm anyway, Andrea and Michonne should at least know each other a little better, even if we let them jump only four days, right? Well, Michonne wouldn't be that off with her, but also not talk about herself. We can play that out, maybe on a campfire scene or something like that? I'd like that idea too. We could come up with something else for them in the meantime, just with let them know that there is this place with the Governor. Hey, or the Governor tells them a place to go to see if the group can prove that they are worthy to become a part of Woodbury... would at least fit to Kevin's post, the Governor's thoughts I mean. What kind of place that could be, well, I didn't come up with an idea yet, as I'm still on brainstorming lol.

So Kevin and I were musing and thought that we can do another time jump, maybe a few months and have another run in with Nate's crew.

Sounds good! A time jump would be a good help to start playing after such a long pause too. And the Michonne/Andrea/Merle meeting could take place between that time too, though they anywhere were a little bit in time before the group.
