I've been watching it from the beginning! I'll watch practically anything that comes from the masterminds behind Lost. The show is pretty good. I definitely don't love it like I love Lost. It comes nowhere near getting my love and attention that did but it is an entertaining watch and I look forward to where they go with this. I have to say that season 1 started to become a little ho-hum for me. It didn't feel like it was going anywhere. Maybe they were stretching the storyline too far or concentrating too much on family drama part of it. I'm not sure. I can't quite put my finger on it. However, the season 2 premiere was really good! Totally kept my attention and peaked my interest in the show again. I'm really hoping they keep going with this formula or direction. Again, I'm having trouble pinpointing exactly what was amiss the first time and why the season 2 premiere was more enjoyable for me. Maybe because it had a bit more of a sci-fi feel and they were actually concentrating on the overlords. I think the fact it was at least half flashbacks of when they arrived was what really made it interesting. Whatever it is, I hope they continue on this path!

This show is good so far. I'm halfway through season one right now and its starting to slightly pick up pace. I felt like I was in the same boat as you Heidi, where this first season is quite slow and ho-hum. I feel like its very based on the character's lives and building them up which is expected when a show starts out, but I felt like there wasn't a balance of enough story regarding the "hosts" and the explanation of the post-apocalyptic seeming situation at hand. I actually had started watching the show when it first aired but every time I would watch it, I consistently got bored or started to look at my phone. So I had disappointedly dropped the show until as of recently. However I am enjoying it this second time around watching it. Josh Holloway makes the show for me, I loved him in Lost and I love his role in this show. Looking forward to completing season one and moving on to the most recently aired episodes. Hopefully we find out more about who the "hosts" are and more about the "arrival day" that occurred, putting their lives in the present living situations.

Same thing here! I'd find myself browsing FB on my phone or playing on the forum. Perhaps the show is best viewed as a binge watch since the story seemed slow. We had episode two or three last week and I started to find my attention drifting. I don't know, the family stuff just doesn't get me. I guess the show hasn't made me really care much about the wife and kids or even Holloway's character like I did for the characters on Lost. My attention is better drawn when they're actually dealing with host situations but wandering when they try to stick in family drama here and there. I can't quite put my finger on what exactly the issue is and I don't want to go more into depth with the family drama stuff so far in season 2 since you're not there yet.

FINALLY! We actually might be seeing the things that have been keeping the people of Earth captive!
I have to admit, the trailer for season 3 gets me more motivated for the show than I have been since the beginning. I feel like the first two seasons, while good and interesting, were kinda slow and uneventful. Too much concentration on drama within the family and not about what has taken over Earth. In a way, it made the show feel even more trapped in a small area than the actual characters are.
Seeing them running around an open area gave me a feeling of freedom not only for the characters but for the story to progress!
