It was obvious that the stranger really was a bit like himself. Kyrin wasn’t sure if there was any reaction at his words but he thought he had seen a little change in the other’s eyes. Something like a mental eye-rolling. "What if?" No real answer. Just a counter-question. It was a little strange to talk to someone who behaved that way. Somehow it felt like he was talking to a mirror. He was sure that a dialogue between him with himself would also sound similar to this. And for that reason he rolled his eyes, too – of course, also just mentally. "Are all humans like that? I’ve heard something different…," he reacted with another counter-Question as well. Somewhere in his head he wished that this wayward human individual would draw a weapon and try to fight him. If he didn’t want to give him information he maybe would be a good opponent… But the Kree didn’t want to be the first who attacked. Nobody should say he started a fight with the Earthlings. But, of course, he would win it!

"Are all humans like that? I’ve heard something different…,"
Andro didn't get the sense of this whole conversation but he had a feeling that the stranger was used to obtain information from anyone if he just asked for it. And in case someone wasn't so willing to talk freely, he probably would make them do so by using his arguments. At that thought, Andro's eyes were once again wandering down to the hidden weapon underneath the man's cloak, not long enough though to really get noticed.
"I am sure this is not the right place to find what you are searching for.", Andro eventually said, a little bit more talkative than before, although the only reason for that was to get him to leave. Inside this pub they were standing right at, there was this someone that, for some reason, he wanted to protect. He still had this bad feeling that there was some kind of connection between this guy and her. "Look around you and you see the underclass. How would powerful people like Thor be here?", he added as nonchalant as possible, although nonchalance was never really his thing. Also, one might be able to tell that he had some kind of personal problem with only the words underclass and powerful.

It took a moment before the human gave him an answer or better said before he raised his voice. Maybe he also tried to appraise his counterpart. It started to feel as if two strong animals were trying to assess each other. "I am sure this is not the right place to find what you are searching for." "Look around you and you see the underclass. How would powerful people like Thor be here?" The Kree warrior kept silence for some moments more and thought about the man’s words. He had to admit that they sound argumentative. After all he had heard about Thor it seemed to be clear that the new King of Asgard wouldn’t life at or went to a place like this. "So, any suggestions where I might find the God of Thunder?" Just one or two hints and that guy could move on. He wasn’t much talkative by all appearances. Neither was he. Somewhere in his mind he started to think about the rest of Thanos‘ children. Did they have similar problems? Fighting against other beings always was easy. But talking to them and seeking for information was normally not what they did…

Andro remained patient on the outside as the stranger kept silence for some more moments, while on the inside he felt an upcoming wish to silence this man forever. It irked him that the walls he had build up so well started to trembling every once in a while yet with increasing frequenzy. He musn't give in to these simple feelings for he was chosen to be more than that. With one deep inner breath, Andro tried to swallow down these upcoming feelings of impatience, annoyance and especially anger. Also, with this kind of emotions on his mind it was so much more difficult to read the other one.
"So, any suggestions where I might find the God of Thunder?"
Why would that be his business, Andro thought sarcastically before he was swallowing down that as well and instead launched into an answer that was less provoking. "Not a suggestion but something to make you wonder. The Avengers and people like that... do they not like to be in the spotlight? So I understand. If I were you, I probably would search for places that are attracting attention."
And another moment of silence, in which Andro didn't let his inner feelings show; feelings that he wasn't even able to name himself. Was he really worrying about someone he had just met? Anyways, in silence he hoped that his words would make the stranger turn elsewhere, almost like an alpha wolf that was protecting his pack no matter what.

Kyrin wondered if that guy would be more talkative if they would cross their weapons before. Or would he just keep on saying nothing important and trying to do whatever he was trying to do when there would be a blade on his throat?! He felt more and more anger inside but he kept it there. He never had to deal with someone so similar to himself in the past. And if it did, those individuals had never been his enemies or people he had to talk to for different reasons.
"Not a suggestion but something to make you wonder. The Avengers and people like that... do they not like to be in the spotlight? So I understand. If I were you, I probably would search for places that are attracting attention." That sounded convincing. So the Kree warrior gave a affirmative nod. And if the following weeks won’t lead to any hint he would have to think about attracting the Avenger’s attention by himself. Maybe he could set a trap for them. So there was nothing more to do for him here at the moment. "It’s your lucky day, little earthling!," he said without an explanation. There was no real reason to kill this human right now. That was superabundant luck for him.
And then he turned and walked back down the street to where he came from. Time to call his father and tell him that he arrived…
*** Kyrin left the place in front of the bar ***

Once Andro saw an affirmative nod, those base emotions inside of him seemed to vanish. He had them back under control, or rather under wraps. Still, there wasn't seen any change upon his features on the outside. He was used to fight inner wars for half of his life, with only some exceptions at a time he didn't have himself under control. But those times were over, and that for good. "It’s your lucky day, little earthling!,"Andro didn't mind the disrespect for he wasn't dependend on that. He had achieved what he wanted and that was all he depended on. What exactly was that though? It was shortly after the stranger had left when Andro slightly turned back towards the window that gave a blurry view into a pub crowded with people who had been misunderstood for probably their whole lifetime and had been enslaved by life itself. Was he actually one of them? Wiping the windowpane clean from his own cold breath, his eyes fell on one specific person inside. What was this feeling? He kind of wanted her to be...
...his. Andro watched Nebula from outside the building just a little longer, the bad lighting coming from the street lamps making it almost impossible to see more than the shapes of a figure from inside, before eventually he turned, pulling the hood of his jacket over his head and walked down the alley.
He would come back here, maybe at regular intervals. Still, they had another appointment remaining. But she shall not know that the white warrior and him were the same person - not yet at least. *** Andro leaves ***

*** One day after the events on The Clock Tower Building *** Over the last day, Nebula searched for a place to practice the new craft which the masked stranger had opened her eyes to. Her options had been limited in the city, the last thing she needed was to be arrested for illegal entry and be set back for who knows how long. Nebula searched high and low for a safe place to call her own, however no matter how hard she tried she always found herself coming back to one place. The roof top of the clock tower building. There, she meditated and practiced in solace. Her eyelids fell smoothly over her large, black eyes as she would sit in the middle of the roof and allowed the recollection of the masked stranger's voice to lull her back to the place of peace. She stumbled in practice too many times to count. In those moments, she would growl with frustration and pound her fists into the roof top floor. The energy and memory of the night before always grounded her and brought her back down into her practice, and she would carry on. Every now and then, her eyes would open a peek just to see if she was still alone. She knew it wouldn't be much longer, though her heart hoped that every time she visited the clock tower that he would be there too. As everyone does when they work hard, they grow weary and look for some relaxation to fill their evening. Nebula didn't have many safe places to retreat to, so she found herself back at the Bar. The regulars began to avoid her as they grew to be witnesses to her outbursts and fits, so she didn't expect any company. Yet, her usual place at the bar top was taken as the establishment appeared to be busier than usual. This was fine with Nebula, as she was able to find a lowly lit booth by itself in the corner of the business. The waitress brought her around a drink and placed it on the circular table in front of where she slouched comfortably. Propping herself upwards, she leaned forward and grabbed the glass with her bionic arm. Physically, she was at the bar. Mentally, she was still at the clock tower with two words that repeatedly ran through her... Two days...

One down, one to go. Days until they will meet again. Or rather, until they will meet again eye-to-eye. It was no coincidence that the early night led him where she was. Or, at least, where he thought she was.
Maybe that was only half the story. Andro knew she would be here since he'd watched her leaving into this direction after she had left the roof of the clock tower building. Yes, he had been there, watching her practice the world he had given her an insight into. Blue was hard on herself, yet that was exactly what would make her become a master of her own body and mind. There even had been a moment when he thought she could have sensed him there, especially when he had allowed this strange desire of wanting to be close to her to get the better of him. Mentally reaching out to someone usually went unnoticed by those who weren't practiced themself, but this strong bond between them seemed to make it easier for both of them to feel the other's presence.
Andro had been waiting for another while before he'd followed her, down the tower and through the side streets of the night. Once he had reached the bar with no name, his features seized with slight panic, all of a sudden. When he watched through the glass of his regular spot - a spot from where his figure was mostly hidden -, Blue wasn't there. He could have used his senses to reach out to her, but he rather did not want to do so here in public. As well trained as he was, for him, it would never be as easy as for those who were using instruments of power to boost their abilities. Still, Andro would never use any instrument, such as the Infinity Stones - even if he had found a way to be able to withstand their danger - out of selfish reasons. The only powers - he didn't even like to call it so, but instead energy - he used were those only borrowed from the universe itself.
However, Blue wasn't sitting at her regular spot in front of the bar. Andro could have just turned to leave, but something made him worry. What if she'd been here, but then this stranger from earlier, on the search for obviously someone like her, had come by and saw her inside? That creature had inhered a lot of dark matter. Still, Andro didn't want to walk in and show himself looking just like this. Because when he was like this, she would look down her nose at him, just like she had done when they first met. The mask was giving him safety so that the world couldn't see and judge the man behind. A man, just socially awkward. Someone who felt small and lost in a world that was ruled by those who were either big and strong, or had enough money and power to make up for it. He had to make a decision, though.
He stayed. With one deep breath, Andro stepped away from the window and instead headed for the entrance door. No mask, no protection. As he walked inside, Andro did as he always did when being around too many people. He blocked them out. Instead, he focused only on the energy around, as a collectivity, for that helped him to calm.
Maintaining a low profile, Andro headed for a spot that was outside of the energy flow. That was actually not completely correct. Everything was energy, but that of materials was different from that of living organisms.
Once he found himself settled, his two eyes looked around the place while his third closed again. And then, finally, Andro saw her sitting not far from him. Yet, now here he was. A socially awkward man.

Nebula had no intention of drinking the liquid that swooshed around the sides of the glass in her hand. Her eyes followed the moving content of the cup as her mind continued to bury itself within thoughts. She wondered where her mentor was now, what he was doing. If he had any other pupils that he was off tending to. Nebula realized that she really knew nothing about this man who she devoted her life to helping take down Thanos. Though, that was the goal, wasn't it? And isn't getting to know your work partner personally a brew for trouble? Nebula knew that she couldn't distract herself from the main prize, yet she couldn't stop trying to recall his manly stature in his warrior uniform, his soothing voice that lulled her to places she had never been before. His gentleness with her...
Nebula's gaze snapped up to the floor in front of her. Someone was watching her from the side, she could feel eyes singe her blue skin. Keeping her head forward, her eyes glanced to the side to bring into view the awkward gentleman she had encountered the last time she had visited the bar. The one she got into a verbal quarrel with over his assumptions. Her mind visited that scene again, his words resurfacing about making her scars her power. She wanted to be mad at his words just as much as she was when he first spoke them. Yet, in a way, she now resonated with what he was trying to tell her. But why? Now that she really thought about it, there was something about how he carried his words that felt familiar to her. Yet, she couldn't place a finger on what it was that was so familiar.
"Are you stalking me, human?" Nebula finally interjected into the air between them, placing the glass back on the table before her. She pivoted her body in a confrontational manner in her seat to face the man that created a rise within her their last meeting.

Suddenly, their eyes met. Andro was either too surprised or overcharged with the situation of him being not only a watcher but, this time, also someone being watched to react. And so he reacted not at all. His eyes were still remaining at her when she addressed him with words, loud enough to be heard over the air between them, but quiet enough to not overlay all other noises around.
"Are you stalking me, human?"
And yet again, Andro was overcharged with this kind of confrontation, especially with the question. For a moment, he actually looked like he was going to answer in the affirmative, or, at least, like he was thinking about what the right answer to such a question would be. He didn't like the question, and still less, he didn't like the tone with which she had asked it. Anyways, after a little pause, Andro decided for a negative answer, although in kind of an asking manner himself. "No..."
Stalking... Was he? He just wanted to be close to her. To watch her. To smell her. To imagine how it would feel to be even closer. To fantasize about how it would be to touch the blue of her skin. To become one with her on so much more than just the physical basis that the common people desire. But he wasn't stalking her, whatever exactly that supposed to mean anyway.
Unsure about what else to say, Andro remained quiet while he tried to avert his gaze to little avail.

"No..."
Nebula's harsh gaze stared the human down, aware that her bionic strength could probably snap him like a twig in seconds. Why was she so bothered by his looming presence? Nebula was furiously annoyed up to this point with the interactions she had encountered with this stranger. Was he truly a stalker, or was their crossing of paths something that was meant to be? Either way, Nebula was utterly exhausted. She was tired of fighting anyone, let alone her inner demons for the night. Her chest relaxed as she heaved a sigh of defeat. Nebula's gaze panned from her glass, and then back up to the stranger.
"What do you want from me?" Nebula uttered, feeling as if she was finally addressing the ghosts that haunted her since she arrived to Earth.

Why was she treating him with so much disgust when she seemed to have appreciated his presence only days before? He was still the same person and actually never tried to act any differently, unaware about the fact that he did right now. Why was a mask making such a difference?, he thought while the answer to that was rather easy. It made a difference for him. His thoughts, however, continued to revolve around Blue instead.
Was she only interested in the abilities he had promised her helping to awaken? No. Blue was different. He could sense that. She wasn't only interested in that or using him to compensate for a messed-up relationship with her father. Inwardly Andro hissed at that thought, as it reminded him of Hope. He had started to see things differently between them ever since she had left him in the lurch. Twice. He had finally stopped to believe that humans, or beings, as such were fundamentally good, and that it was power only that turned them. There surely were differences, which is why he also stopped feeling guilty about the lives he took. Those whose matter was rather dark, the universe would anyway choose to erase. Still, he wasn't completely blaming them, for, in a world like this, it was no wonder people became dark and lost. But it was a breeding ground for the virus - for power. It personally saddened Andro that Blue seemed to have a lot of that dark matter within her. But maybe there was still some hope. Maybe she could get cured. "What do you want from me?"And yet again, he was a little confused. He hadn't even talked to her tonight. What was making Blue think that he wanted something from her? "I..." Andro began, his voice unusually shaky. They had talked to each other before - even at this place -, but ever since their last meeting on the roof, where he had felt both their energy uniting for a moment, this was much more difficult for some reason. His heart was beating faster, and his lungs were struggling for enough breath to give her an answer. "... just like... your company." And yet again, Andro's statement was sounding more like a question or, at least, something he was unsure about. He even felt it difficult to look at her right now, while at the same time to not.

"I..." "... just like... your company."
This man before Nebula carried himself with a lack of confidence in what he wanted from this engagement. If he had truly kept coming to her with an alternative motive, he would be conducting himself in a way that Nebula would find demeaning. The same way the other men who had come into her life had made her feel. Yet, this man was different. He didn't seem to think of himself as superior or that he wanted to use her. His genuine nature allowed Nebula's shoulders to relax as she heaved a sigh that waved a white flag of surrender.
"No one's expected nothing more than just my company before. Let's just say that personal gain is a selfish, dangerous game. The only one that's truly valued me was my sister, but she's not here...," Nebula returned her gaze to the man. He seemed lonely. She was lonely, too, so it wouldn't hurt to have someone to talk to for once would it? "What's your story, stranger?"

The moment of silence between them - probably no more than seconds - felt like an eternity to Andro. And he knew how an eternity could feel. He had spent nine years rotting in a cell, with no one to visit him. Still, no one had ever heard him complaining about his personal drama, but only about the system that was causing so much drama for anyone without power.
After a while, Blue finally spoke up again. It was not exactly her words but rather her change of heart that brought back some of his self-confidence. His features softened as well, although only slightly.
"No one's expected nothing more than just my company before. Let's just say that personal gain is a selfish, dangerous game. The only one that's truly valued me was my sister, but she's not here...,"
And yet again, Andro felt the urge to reach out to her. Not physically, or not only, at least. He wanted to tell her that he had a deep understanding of her words and that the two of them were alike. But Andro didn't move, didn't say anything.
"What's your story, stranger?"
His story? No one ever asked him such a question? What did it suppose to mean anyway? What actually was someone's story? Their childhood? Their time in college? Or was it the time between that and adulthood? Why would anyone want to hear that, after all? Andro was thinking for a while, still not averting his gaze from her, before he finally came up with a different answer. "There once had been someone who I thought had valued my company, but that turned out to be just another lie. In the end, people want nothing but something for themselves." Andro wasn't seeing his own intention as something for himself but instead as something to make the world a better place. "You..." He stopped again as unsureness was coming back to him, yet he wanted to continue. It was not a lie that he liked her company. "... do not seem like them." And then something strange was going to happen with his face, with the muscles around his jaw. Fortunately, he was able to suppress it before it would be reaching the surface.

"You..." "... do not seem like them."
The man that sat near Nebula sang a tune from his life exuded with confidence. She envied how sure he seemed of himself and wondered where one could obtain such a desirable quality. The only other she knew of with this level of certainty was her sister's Quill, but he was cocky. This stranger didn't appear to be indulging in himself, his poise simply spoke for itself. He also appeared to be fairly sure about the type of character Nebula possessed. She grew rather skeptical of those who could easily read others. Either he was incredibly intuitive, or he was about to con her. Nebula tended to think with her guard up and her fists at the ready.
"Everyone always wants something for themselves...you want company. I want to see my father be pressed until he bursts into a thousand pieces among the stars," Nebula spoke defensively, yet she remained calm as she was simply laying out the facts that were known to her, "We are plagued with corruption until we are nothing more than dust in the universe. Tell me how we are not like the rest." Nebula questioned the stranger, her bionic fingers made a soft sound against the glass as she caressed it in her hand for minor comfort. A shadow was cast over her soul, it had been for quite some time. Until it began to become speckled with spots of light from her new master. But he wasn't there, and she felt herself going darker again.

Andro had felt the wall between them crumbling, but before he could have even dared to reach out to her in a non-physically way, she suddenly built it up again. There was this thick and dark shadow covering her spirit. He had been able to cut through it for a moment, back at the other night, but she seemed not to let that happen again. Or was that only the case as long as he was sitting here with her, no mask covering up his face? What would she do if she knew who he really was? What would she say? Would she shut him off completely, or would she... allow him to reach out to her, as the person he was?
"Everyone always wants something for themselves...you want company. I want to see my father be pressed until he bursts into a thousand pieces among the stars," The shadow around her thickened so much that he had difficulty to sense her energy at all. It was making him rather sad than disappointed for some reason. Of course, nothing like that was shown on his features, although it seemed that, with her, his own wall that usually was covering up any emotion, didn't function so well. "We are plagued with corruption until we are nothing more than dust in the universe. Tell me how we are not like the rest."
Without reaching out to her, either spiritually or with words, Andro started to feel helpless again. He had felt this way before, back at the time he'd started to talk to her here in the bar.
And then he felt the sudden urge to give away who he was, to change things between them. But was that really a good idea, or would that even extend the distance? "I... I am..."
No, he couldn't. Blue would blame him for not having told her right away. She would never want to speak a word with him, wearing a mask or not.
"You are right about my wish for company," he suddenly said instead, as he turned his gaze away from her, "but wrong about me being like the rest." Andro wasn't expecting an answer from her, nor that she would want to keep their conversation up in the first place. So he grabbed his glass, about to turn and head elsewhere. He didn't want to risk losing all of her just because he was longing for more. He should never have entered but remained unseen, at his spot outside.

"You are right about my wish for company," "but wrong about me being like the rest."
The stranger's words pelted at Nebula like an asteroid. She felt knocked down a few notches as her lips tightened into a flat line across her face. This stranger managed to shake her awake enough for her to realize that she was falling back into her destructive nature. One of the things that she despised about herself. Perhaps if she did have some company for a while, it wouldn't hurt much more than getting her chair kicked out from under her. Suddenly, her heart leaped painfully in her chest as she realized that he was about to storm away.
"Wait!" Nebula shot upright and hesitated for a brief moment, thinking of an excuse to make him stay. She, of course, didn't want to outright shed any sort of weakness and admit that she wished for some company too, so she thought critically as her eyes scanned the stranger before her. She had caught a glimpse of something minor on the back of his neck before he turned back around, yet what he was wearing on top had masked most of the image. And then suddenly, her eyes connected with his and she found a sense of familiarity within them. As if she had gazed upon them before, "...What was that marking, on the back of your neck?" Nebula questioned the man, still standing frozen in time before him.

"Wait!"He did as he was told. Almost as if he was a soldier who didn't dare to question or even neglect a command. It was not like Andro felt like he was a puppet in her presence, but it was a truth that he felt dependent in some way, however. Eventually, he started slowly turning back around. Andro didn't want to show this dependence. But as much as he tried, he simply couldn't hide this flicker of emotion that broke through the surface whenever they were close to each other. The seconds in which they would just silently stare at each other felt like hours. Hours they both might want to go by while, at the same time, not. Or so he hoped at least. That it wasn't only him. And then she suddenly spoke up again, asking him a question he hadn't expected. "...What was that marking, on the back of your neck?"For another moment, Andro just watched her. Not only had she put him off with that, but he also wasn't sure if he wanted to share this with her, although he didn't want to lie, either. So, instead of giving her an answer right away, it happened that his gaze turned elsewhere for a slight moment as if to check if people were minding their own businesses instead of theirs. They were. His eyes turning back to Blue, Andro stepped once again towards the empty seat next to her. He saw no need in asking her if that was alright. This upcoming conversation might be better to have at a quiet volume, even quieter than before. Andro watched her for some more seconds before finally launching into an answer. "On the way to find ourselves... we sometimes... leave the track, I guess." He had never seen his connection to Hydra as really a mistake, but rather as a fork on his path. Ending up in the middle of their manipulative heads, after all, had made him realize that this dark seed of power was everywhere and that he would have no other choice but to eliminate it by the root. A head can't grow without a neck to hold it, just as darkness can't spread without a source of light. And if he had to erase all light for as long as it would the universe take to heal itself, then Andro was willing to do that. Even if it meant to erase himself, same as... He was not yet ready to finish this second thought.
"I could have gotten rid of this," Andro went on, showing her the tattoo in his neck by his own choice before turning back around. "but it reminds me of my way. Each step of it. I would not erase my past, never mind how foolish or weak I was." Suddenly he bit his lip. Was he talking too much? Was he revealing too much of himself? Risking to lose? These questions were suddenly readable on his features, almost as if Blue owned the key to the locked up book he was.

"I could have gotten rid of this," "but it reminds me of my way. Each step of it. I would not erase my past, never mind how foolish or weak I was."
"And what about the pain? How do you deal living with your scars for the rest of your life?" Nebula sat there, her gaze unmoved from the stranger as he explained himself to her. She simply could not wrap her head around his unwavering strength despite his circumstances leaving a permanent mark, one he chose to live with for the rest of his life. Her eyes finally dropped down to the liquid pooling in her cup, making eye contact with her own reflection that reminded her of the metal enhancements that were implanted in her face. On her head. All over her body. Simply because someone thought she was weak and needed to become stronger. She would never be able to remove her scars no matter how hard she tried, and that caused her great agony for many years, "If what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, why do I still feel so weak? So...small?" Nebula looked up at him. She let her guard down, but at this point her chest was filled with so much pain that she was about to burst if she didn't let it all out. And Nebula didn't know why, but this stranger seemed to care.

"And what about the pain? How do you deal living with your scars for the rest of your life?"
Andro remained silent for a while, watching as she stared at her own reflection in her cup. How could she not see how beautiful she was? He honestly wanted to help her looking beyond her scars but knew he wouldn't be able to do so, for there was only one person who was. Andro could give her a direction, but the path she would have to walk herself.
"If what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, why do I still feel so weak? So...small?"
"I do, too." Andro finally happened to reply more personally and also more truthfully than ever before. No more cryptic answers that could be as well interpreted as mere speculations alluding to any hypothetical person other than exclusively himself. While his masked self was careful and distant enough to not provide anyone with a target, the unmasked Andro wanted to open up, as unusual and even disconcerting this felt even to himself at the same time. "But that is my motivation to become stronger and to grow. We are not like those who think they have it all and know it all. They are stuck, blind to see themselves. But I see you, same as I see myself."
Andro was allowing only a little pause to separate this last from his next words. Maybe because he wasn't ready yet to receive a reaction to what might have come off as intrusive, although he wasn't sure if it really had. He was still not good at expressing his feelings or even feeling them in the first place. And yet, they were there. Feelings that he had only started to make sense of, while not being sure if he liked to feel them or not. Anyways, he made sure the pause between his words would be short enough for her not to intervene.
"We are all weak in some way. It would be arrogant to think we were not." Andro added, trying to appear more casual while it was probably just that that gave away how unsure he suddenly felt. He wouldn't allow that to show on his features, though. Something that he learned to be a difficult task in Blue's presence, especially since they were sitting as close to each other as never before.
In his mind, Andro was adding more words to his last statement. Arrogant like those people he'd delivered from their suffering from that malady that sooner or later would have led to the loss of their souls. Arrogant like Hydra. Or the Avengers. All of these self-declared heroes and villains. Suddenly there was a sign of disgust flickering over Andro's features. Then eventually, he turned his attention back towards Blue, the disgust vanishing at once. For another moment, he just watched her in silence. She was something in between, just like himself. Someone who could be categorized neither as a hero nor as a villain. Betrayed by both. Andro had known right that moment he'd seen her for the very first time. She was just like him. Lost and left alone.

"I do, too."
In the very moment that Nebula felt that she was stumbling and falling deep into her own misery, this man picked her up from her knees and leveled eye to eye with her in a way that no other had done before. Her stunned gaze drew into his empathetic energy as their worlds began to collide. A lone galactic warrior Nebula had always been, never did she once consider that she would ever be so fortunate to come across her own savior. Not until meeting this man before her.
"But that is my motivation to become stronger and to grow. We are not like those who think they have it all and know it all. They are stuck, blind to see themselves. But I see you, same as I see myself."
As skeptical as Nebula had once been, she now grew to trust his words. The way that he spoke with a sense level headedness and wisdom left Nebula wanting to know more of what he knew of the world of growing and becoming stronger - but this time from within. She had always been trained to fixate on outer strength that working on her inner self was a foreign concept. One that she craved to learn. Perhaps she could learn to become less angry, more at peace even. And maybe, just maybe she would learn how to love herself once and for all. The more that this stranger graced her with his unique nature, the more Nebula began to become less questioning and less suspicious of this man and did what she did ever so often - lead with her emotional, bleeding heart.
"We are all weak in some way. It would be arrogant to think we were not."
Nebula left the man in silence for a brief moment as she became wrapped up within her own deep thoughts before she matched her tired, saddened eyes with his once more, "How does one become stronger on the inside when they walk this path alone?" Her voice was heavy with weariness from the fight. Weariness from constant rejection. And weariness from being so alone.

Having been deep into thoughts himself, Andro was a bit surprised when suddenly their eyes would meet. Or, more than actually surprised, stunned. This way of conversing - although in some way still kind of his way - was still so new to him that it left him feeling helpless even. And yet, to his relief, Andro didn't saw rejection on her face anymore. Instead, he saw something there that... he couldn't name. Or was afraid to. What if he was only seeing what he wanted to see? And yet, it was like the walls around her began to fall, after all. Like they had when he'd been talking to her on that roof of the Clock Tower Building. And then suddenly, even before Blue spoke up again, a realization came to him like a thunderbolt.
He mustn't give away who he really was, not while they were sitting here in public, with everyone being able to see his face. How could he have allowed himself to be so uncareful, not only as for the things he said - although on the quiet - but also as for the things he did? Somebody could have seen him showing her his tattoo, and, even though only the fewest knew about its origin, those who did, connecting it with him, might now, as well, connect it with her. Andro had never really bothered that risk when it had been only him, but things would be different now with Blue by his side. She... meant something to him.
"How does one become stronger on the inside when they walk this path alone?"
Blue's voice suddenly jolted him out of his thoughts. For a moment, there even lay an almost shocked expression on his features, yet only as little as he allowed any emotion to get seen there. Andro watched her for another moment, still taken aback, before, finally, launching into an answer, now warier again as for his choice of words. He was, right now, not here to become her waywiser, or master - how she had called him -, but to... To what actually?
He tried to clear his mind, only focusing on this very moment. "Maybe we..." Andro started more hesitantly than ever before, for this was a very personal step forward, into a direction he didn't yet know a lot about himself because, suddenly, this was not about recruiting but offering assistance, or even an offering of his mere company, if she wanted it. "... don't have to walk alone.. anymore...?"
For a moment, there was just silence between them. Probably not for long, but in Andro's head, it felt like an eternity. He wanted to add something to his words, making them sound cryptic and standoffish again, but he knew there was no going back from here. He had made a step out of his comfort zone while allowing her to either meet him halfway on this new terrain, or back off again. If it was the latter she'd go with, Andro actually wouldn't know how to deal with it. Not only as for this very moment but also for their coming meetings between her and his masked self.
With his heart beating like a drum, Andro waited for her answer, an answer to something he wasn't even sure had been a question, while time was standing still around them. His eyes maintained the contact, still in awe of her, while, at the same time, it felt like torture to himself.

"Maybe we..." "... don't have to walk alone.. anymore...?"
The words had sifted through Nebula's ears like sand, but truly did not sink into her being until she felt him move slightly in her direction. Her head slowly drifted upwards as the noises of the bar now faded into the background. Suddenly, it was as if they were the only two left in the bar as the world fell silent around them. Her eyes traveled upwards, finally locking with his stare of anticipation as he waited for her answer. Nebula hadn't been offered any sort of solace by anyone in the galaxy other than her sister, for she had either wronged or killed those who had dared to cross her path. Yet, that was never entirely her fault. She never knew better. Nebula's complexion grew emotional as her heart wanted nothing more than to reach for this man's figuratively stretched out hand, yet her mind didn't know how to respond. Nebula simply did not know how to receive any sort of compassion or kindness from anyone. All she knew how to do was run. She ran from Gamora's help, why was this any different? If it was up to her feet, they would have already carried her out of the bar at the mention of this man's gesture. And yet, it was different than all the other times her sister tried to help. Because she was still here in this bar, in front of this man whose connection to her felt cosmic.
"...Let's get out of here. I want to show you something." Without hesitating any further, Nebula brought herself to her feet in front of the man. The tone to her voice was still rather cut and dry, yet she was trying to find a way to reciprocate the kindness this man was offering to her. Her eyes stared him down with a serious underlying tone that was also minorly frightened. She didn't know how to accept this man's proposal to take her in. She wasn't sure if she was ready to dive head first into the unknown, but for once in her life she felt compelled to try and let another in, "You're good with heights?" Not that Nebula cared, yet she felt that she needed to warn this man that where they were going, it would definitely be higher up than he might be used to.

Not only, not even primarily, was he seeing that inner war fought upon her complexion. He was sensing it in all her being. Andro's breath became faster, faltering, irregular, yet he tried to keep control over it. Unsure if these reactions were emerging from only the stress in his own system or also from the one that ran through hers. She was so close, her emotions so strong. Andro felt them almost aggressively pulling at him while he could do nothing but watch himself drown. And still, he couldn't get enough of this, of her. And he felt that she couldn't as well. Something kept pulling them towards one another, leaving both no other choice but to concede.
Then, eventually, she spoke up again and with that broke the silence that had covered them like a thick coat with no slots to breath. Her words, however, would not serve Andro with relief but instead with only more stress.
"...Let's get out of here. I want to show you something."
She knew it, he thought with rising panic while she brought herself to her feet, ready to lead them towards a place that he knew all too well. Or that was what he guessed, at least. What had given him away? His voice? His way of talking? Or the sensation of him constantly reaching out to her, on a level that was beyond spoken words? Andro wondered if there was a chance that she could have felt it, too. But then he brushed off those thoughts. He tried to. Maybe she was just going to show him something else. And yet, he had sensed something in her energy that spoke of familiarity. As if she would only let him in with that getting proven right first. Either way, Andro had no other choice but to comply. He'd been aware of the risk of his move to let somebody in. Now he had to take it.
"You're good with heights?"
And there was the answer to his sense of foreboding, covered in a question. He watched Blue with visible tension, no longer able to keep the mask on his face; The one that had been protecting him from other people all throughout his life. There had been only one person who got to see it; before she died, back at a time where he'd been only a child. Andro's mother.
"I will follow," Andro eventually replied with the same cut and dry tone that still had been in Blue's voice, yet his was starting to fade and to break. Then he allowed her to lead the way towards outside, to a place that could mean his revelation if he really decided to take this last step to lead the way towards a place, as well. The place inside himself. To Andro's surprise, he was willing to.
