"It's done. I found a couple of people to help; Mia and Severin. They're mostly to thank." Jasmine smiled and nodded her head, "Thanks, i'm gonna have to thank them. Well i would if i knew who they were," Jasmine shrugged her shoulders, doing her best to not be her fake Hollywood self. Normally now she'd be making this all about her, if it were a different circumstance.

"I had just met Mia yesterday. Severin sat with us by the bonfire that first night. Kind of a quiet, contemplative type. English accent." I gave her a minute to try and recall before continuing. "I could introduce you to them. When you're ready."

Jasmine was bad with names but if she saw the person's face, she would probably know them. "I could introduce you to them. When you're ready." Jasmine took in a breath and smiled, "Thank you, i feel bad because Now Jordan will be stuck. Even when the rescue boat arrives, if it arrives." She sighed.

"Actually, it's probably up to you if he stays here or is taken back home." I hesitated trying to think of tactful way to put it. "I've heard of final resting places being relocated many times. I'm sure they have something arranged for rescue situations." It was just a natural assumption, especially in disasters of this magnitude, for rescue teams to have the necessary equipment for transporting bodies.

Maybe Heidi was right, she hoped that was the case. She's do anything to be able to visit Jordan in the future, to be have a place where she could talk with him. She knew it was silly to think of, she could talk to him now if she wanted. "Yeah i guess you're right."

An uncomfortable silence. I subconsciously played with a lock of my wet hair, weaving it back and forth through my fingers, a life-long habit of mine. "So... will you be okay over here?" I asked, nodding to her shelter placed away from a majority of the other shelters.

The sun is setting and only a few scattered clouds remain.
The Marshal's cries of pain can be heard throughout the camp,
increasing in volume and frequency as the night approaches.

"So... will you be okay over here?" Jasmine smiled and nodded her head, "Yeah, i just don't think I can be around people right now. Without seeing a little bit of Jordan in every face, he- i think time by myself will be the best thing. but my shelter is always open, i don't mind your company. I'm just sorry you got mixed in all of this," Jasmine smiled, but it faded when she heard the cries of someone. "Who is that?"

I turned to look in the direction the sound was coming from, noticing others looking as well. From this distance, it was hard to pinpoint exactly where it was coming from but I noticed those that were closer were all looking at Jack's shelter. "I think it's that guy who had the shrapnel in his side," I said sadly.

"I think it's that guy who had the shrapnel in his side," Jasmine had to be honest, she didn't know about the man with Shrapnel in his side. She had only thought about herself and than Jordan, "I didn't know, its strange how a lot of us didn't get seriously hurt here. I meant we got hurt but it could have been worse."

"I've thought about that, too." Truth was, I was surprised there were any survivors at all. How exactly did I fall from the sky and land on the ground, still strapped in my seat with the gash on my arm the worst of it? More of a bad scratch. "I've had worse scrapes than this," I held out my bandaged forearm, "from accidentally walking into things."

"I've had worse scrapes than this, from accidentally walking into things." Jasmine chuckled, "My wound is a little more serious, but its strange how we are all in one piece." Jasmine grabbed a towel she had found and spread it out, sitting down on that instead of the wet sand. she made room for Heidi. "Sit, keep me company for a while. Unless you have someone else to help," she smirked.

"I don't think I could help anybody right now even if I wanted to. If I don't sit down soon, I'll fall down," I said with a weary grin as I settled on the towel, letting out a sigh of relief at finally getting off my feet. I flinched as another cry of pain rang out. Distracting conversation would be most welcome right now.
"So, what's it like? Being famous?"

"I don't think I could help anybody right now even if I wanted to. If I don't sit down soon, I'll fall down," Jasmine knew what that feeling was like, those days when she just worked to hard and felt like collapsing. "So, what's it like? Being famous?" Jasmine chuckled, "For me personally, it has its ups and down. I got a nice estate where i spent most of my off time, a vacation house in Hawaii and its pretty awesome. I came from a middle class family, worked hard and by luck i was discovered. But fame can have its downsides to, being followed, stalked, always in the tabloids. People constantly making fun of you, most of it was for publicity. Like on the plane, when i came barreling in and waving to people. I knew in minutes it would be on the internet, fame. But to answer your question, Its awesome."

"Sounds exactly what I'd thought it'd be like. I guess we're all gonna be a little famous when we get back home. Probably for only a week or two, until the excitement of plane crash victims wears down. But for you, it'll probably be something that's brought up in practically every interview you do for the rest of your life," I said with a roll of my eyes.

Not to mention, they'll ask me a million and one questions about Jordan and what i'm going to to now. Probably ask if i'm going to get a new manager. Its- something i rather not think about right now." Jasmine smiled and placed a hand on Heidi's, "I'm sure you'll get some kind of perk."

"Perk? Oh yah, I think airlines usually give plane crash survivors some kind of Golden Ticket--or whatever it's called--so you can fly for free for the rest of your life. Like the first thing we wanna do after a crash is hop right back on a plane..." I paused. "It's like a restaurant giving you free meals for life after you get food poisoning there."
I yawned. The craziness of the day was really catching up with me.

With that, I headed in the direction of my shelter.

In the time since the plane crash, Roose had discovered something he found mildly incredible: people took twinkies on planes. Not just a single twinkie stuffed in a coat pocket and forgotten about, crushed within it's wrapper, but honest-to-God packets of six stacked inside a suitcase. Someone loved their twinkies, and he was willing to bet it was the big fat guy. He'd already been trying to figure out how to calmly introduce the idea of such a wager into casual conversation when he found a separate suitcase with a twinkie. Then there was another. That was more twinkies then he'd eaten in the past year.
It was good short-term food. They were filling and useful for quick bursts of energy; just about every starving college student had learned that at some point or another. They were chunks of fat, really, and their appearance didn't disguise anything.
Roose glanced around briefly, only half-optimistic that he'd see the sunbathing blonde from a few days before. But not today. He sighed, and went back to collecting what food he could find. Fatty foods and bikini babes while a redneck threw punches at a dark guy....it was little wonder he wasn't feeling homesick.

Roose turned his head in the direction of the voice.. Speak of the sexy devil.
"Nothing like that, sorry," he said, standing with a twinkie in his hand. "And I'm not looking through other people's stuff."
Roose followed her skeptical gaze toward the collection he'd amassed. "Well, I am," he admitted before quickly adding, "But it isn't as sordid as you're implying. I'm on food duty. Hope you like twinkies." Roose looked up and down her slender form. "....but I'm guessing you don't."

"I don't eat sugar," she practically hissed. "Or whatever that stuff is made of. What are you going to charge people for them? 'Cause most people can't afford what Sawyer's charging." She picked an open nearby suitcase to rummage through. "Seriously, no one packed bug spray?!"

"All right, right, settle down there," he said, beginning to grow weary. "And twinkies don't have sugar. They're a perfect mix of wheat flour, corn syrup, niacin, water, whole eggs, modified corn starch, cellulose gum, whey....oh, wait, yeah, they do have sugar. Metric tons of it."
Roose rolled his eyes a little before crouching near the suitcase she was rummaging through. "What's your bug trouble, anyway? Mosquitos taking bites out of you or what?"

"I don't know, I didn't take time to identify them before I smacked them. They're annoying, bloodsucking bugs," she stated, before unzipping a make-up bag and looking through it. Her search unsuccessful, she moved on to the next layer of packing to find a bottle of Australian wine. "Ugh, my boyfriend used to love this stuff. It's a dry red, should go great with your Twinkies."

"That love you," he said. "Take compliments where you can get 'em."
"Ugh, my boyfriend used to love this stuff. It's a dry red, should go great with your Twinkies."
Roose inspected the bottle briefly. "Even in disaster, standards," he remarked. "Check that make-up bag for perfume and stuff. Anything with that eucalypto-stuff oil, I hear it kills ticks and bugs and stuff."
