Another 4 star episode for me!
Hearing that Des and Pen named their son Charlie, I got all teary-eyed. So sweet and heartbreaking. It was Charlie, after all, who gave his life and allowed Pen to find them.
Aw, Daniel is such a sweetheart! Such a nice guy. It was so sweet how he just confessed that he loves Charlotte and also so heartbreaking to see his expression whenever Charlotte is feeling the effects of being unstuck in time. He knows something is very wrong and he knows what the outcome is.
Holy crap, that one dude was young CHARLES WIDMORE! So I guess we can kinda figure out why he's obsessed with the island. He was there at one point and he wants to go back. Before we knew who he was, I was laughing at the part where he was referring to Locke as an old man and practically rolling his eyes when he said to Richard that the old man couldn't have tracked him. Think again, Widmore! XD
Richard... that dude doesn't age. I want to know why! And also just exactly how old is he?
Fascinating how Locke was telling Richard about the future and his own roll in it. Makes you wonder if Richard looks at Locke as their leader because he's supposed to be or because Locke had told him so in the past. It's a sort of Catch-22 or chicken or the egg situation. Locke tells him to go find him in two years when he's born and he'll see that Locke wasn't lying about being from the future. That explains why we saw Richard at the hospital, looking at newborn Locke through the window! It also explains why Richard shows up at the foster home when Locke was 5 to test him, but Richard had ended up being disappointed because little Locke didn't choose the correct last item that was "already his". That only lends to the question of whether Locke really is intended to be the leader/chosen one or if it all happened due to this mix-up during time jumping.
I loved Desmond's interaction with Charles! So satisfying after the last time we saw Desmond in Charles' office when Charles had refused to give his blessing for Desmond to propose to Penny. I love that he didn't tell Charles shit about anything. Then again, Charles didn't press because he's afraid for his daughter's life due to Ben's threat.
Last question. Who is the blonde chick that was holding Daniel at gunpoint and why does Daniel seem to find her familiar?
Favorite quotes/moments:
Sawyer: Who taught you Latin? Juliet: Others 101.

Loved this episode! Going with 4 stars as well! And yet again, Agreeing with everything you said! Unfortunately, I don't have much free time at the moment, so I keep things short. I so so love the time-traveling plot within the show!! Like I said, always had me fascinated! You never can explain anything for sure, as with time it's tricky. I love Richard! He seems like a real mystery to me! Btw, he's using eyeliner, isn't he? xD Charles Widmore!!! Omg, I was like "Whoaa!! Now that makes sense!" :-O

BAHAHA! Your eyeliner comment! I'm gonna share with you one of the videos I took at the Lost panel in 2010 at Comic-Con. I think I'll put it in the Backstage board.
