I finished the series last night, and...I have questions. Did they ever explain who murdered the warlock Connor? I kept thinking they were going to reveal someone as a witch-hunter, that his iguana familiar was killed before it could talk to anyone, but it seems that whole plotline was just an excuse for Ambrose and Luke to hook up. Any clue as to who Cerberus really is? I'm guessing some sort of demon, given the flash of red eyes when he walked away from Hilda. Is Greendale like the new Sunnydale, and the mines are a highway to hell? I was happy to see Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, and Michelle Gomez all together. But otherwise, it was a little too much teen angst for me. And it needed more Salem.

Gosh, I'd totally forgotten about that murder. It did seem like a small plot thrown in for that hook-up. Maybe they're saving it for a later season? Maybe it's part of a bigger plot?
I believe I read that this show comes from the same people who wrote or created Riverdale and I have absolutely no faith in CW level writers, so my expectations were low at the start. The show started out pretty good but then several episodes in, it was starting to turn into a crappy CW unsupervised angsty immature teens running around acting like they're adults. Thankfully, it started to straighten out a bit toward the end.
No idea who Cerberus is! I know nothing about the Sabrina world. Never read any of the comics and never even saw one ep of the Melissa Joan Hart version of the show. I walked into this with no background.
I'll keep watching it.
There's going to be a Christmas special on December 14, 2018 and it's been renewed for a second season.

* * * * * NEWS * * * * * Part 2 (they're calling them Parts rather than seasons) will drop April 5, 2019. Netflix has also ordered 16 more episodes beyond that to be released as Parts 3 and 4, no release date on those.

Watched Part 2 this weekend and I enjoyed it. It didn't stray somewhere near the middle into that low CW feeling halfway through like part 1 did. We'll definitely be checking out the next part!
