You have to have a subscription to Entertainment Weekly or buy it from the stands to access their pages though. ~*~ News that New Line is mulling a ''Freddy vs. Jason'' sequel called ''Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash'' -- pitting easily resurrected killers Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees against the smart-mouthed, chainsaw-handed, demon-battling hero immortalized by Bruce Campbell in the ''Evil Dead'' trilogy -- has split fans into two camps. One camp thinks it would be way-cool to see Campbell's Ash take on the razor-taloned Freddy in a battle of witticisms and sharp-bladed appendages. The other thinks it's sacrilegious to mix genres this way. Villains from teen slasher movies fighting a hero from occult horror spoofs? Why not just pit Freddy and Jason against the cuddly Ewoks from ''Return of the Jedi''? Why not ''Freddy and Jason vs. Paris and Nicole?'' (''You're an unkillable slayer who preys on horny teenagers? That's hot.'')

I don't know much about their plans, but we'd rather not do that right now…As fun as that sounded, I think they are two different worlds. Evil Dead and Freddy and Jason; maybe at another time that would be a better combination.
