As the turbulence began to pick up, Kate had made up her mind to swallow her pride and risk having Mars laugh in her face. "I have one favor to ask."
Edward looked at her. "Really? This ought to be good." He smirked, ready for something new to be able to use against her.
Before she could answer, extreme turbulence caused the items in the overhead compartment to slam against the door, breaking the secured fastening. Items went flying out of the overhead, among them, a heavy metal case hitting the Marshal in the head. Kate looked over as blood poured from Mars' head and he soon blacked out. Her attention was taken away as the oxygen masks fell from overhead. She reached up but the anchored handcuffs kept her just short of being able to reach them. Thinking quickly, Kate went for the Marshal's pockets remembering where he had put the key. She made quick work of opening the cuffs, took a couple deep breaths from the oxygen mask before putting one on the unconscious Marshal and holding her mask to her face.
She heard the loud metallic grinding sound and when she saw objects flying past, knew that the tail end of the plane was gone.

Jordan (temp-play by Lady Lee-o)
Jordan had been talking with Heidi when the turbulence hit, he was use to a bit of bumps but this was ridiculous. When the seat belt signs flashed on he clicked it closed before resting back with a sigh. When the oxygen masks were released, Jordan turned to Heidi and gripped her hand. "Heidi, if I don't make it find Jaz and give her my letter." He slipped on his mask before gripping the seat with both hands and closed his eyes. The sounds of the plane bending in on itself, the sound of metal made this all to real. Suddenly the swish of air and the sounds of the tail being pulled apart, "Oh shit, oh shit." Things were flying, people were screaming. some who didn't get there seat belts on were now flying out the back of the open plane and Jordan turned to see Heidi out for the count. The last thing on his mind was Jasmine before the force knocked him out cold.

When the first bits of turbulence started up, I thought nothing of it. Perfectly normal stuff and no need to freak out about it like I noticed a few passengers were doing. But then that jolt happened and I gripped the arm rest as my stomach flip-flopped and my heart raced at the feeling of falling. The oxygen masks were released. I stared in shock for a moment before I grabbed the mask and put it on, the severity of the situation seeming so much more real. I barely registered Jordan's request to give Jasmine his letter but I managed a quick nod. The plane was losing altitude fast, the engines whining so loud, and then the deafening sound of grinding metal. For the first time in my life, the fear of death being seconds away gripped me.
The grinding sound stopped as the tail end of the plane ripped away. I could only manage to turn my head a little to see the sky through the gaping hole. I couldn't believe this was actually happening. A whole seat with a man still in it was sucked right out of the back. I quickly faced forward again and squeezed my eyes shut, not wanting to chance seeing anything like that again.
The fear was so real and so intense that I couldn't handle it. For the first time in my life, I blacked out.

The world around him screamed. Men, women...children...they all screamed and the screams blurred with the whine of twisting metal and the howls of rushing air. Even the wind screamed, and Severin knew what was happening. He was pulled back, but his seat wasn't moving. Everything else was moving. A man was moving. Moving up and above the seats, his body shaking like a ragdoll. Severin reached out to grab at his hand, but didn't get anywhere near it. Than, he was gone. Devoured by the screaming wind. Severin didn't have time to dwell. The memory was logged in the back of his mind, but not something to consider now. His lungs were burning, and he was short of breath. The grasped the dangling mask in front of him, pulling it across his face. FLASHBACK

ANA LUCIA
Her head ran wild with horrible thoughts and nightmares as her body seemed rooted into her seat.
They had met at the airport bar and he had even ordered her another Tequila and tonic. The girl would have been greedy enough to have flirted with him and suck on her wedge of lemon but instead her phone had rang. Nothing in her life ever seemed to go as planned, then again when the hell did Ana ever plan anything?
Her mother had called, the last person she honestly wanted to talk to because of her guilt trip. But like magic, the younger Cortez had to listen to her mother now and make things right. Not like any right had worked before? A lawyer...she needed a lawyer because her stupid ass took a revenge trip on Jason McCormack. To the human eye it would seem she just had an emotional basket of problems that rooted deeply to her parents divorce and her general environment. Danny had been a bartender by the local hot spot where all the cops sat down on their off time. The tomboy always would beat the guys asses at any game of pool no matter what, she was a tough cookie but had a maternal instinct and an emotional side. Her future fiancee was the man behind the bar counter where she had frequently ordered Tequila and tonics until they finally went out on a date. Finally in the future she was going to have a baby and had taken a domestic call for a robbery. Bang. Bang. Bang. BANG! Hollow shots had gone through her bullet proof vest and all she could have thought of in that moment was that there would be hell to pay and a big ass miscarriage. It broke her heart and split the couple deeply apart until she wasn't even functioning properly enough to even remotely be considered sane.
With these thoughts lingering in the back of her mind, it didn't help that her way out had been a drunken ex-surgeon who wanted to go on an escapade to Sydney complete with fake names.
Her main thing when she was bored was to people watch, something Ana Lucia had even done at a younger age. Teresa her mother was always on the ball with her and often tried to control her anger with controlled situations which always ended bad for both of them. A man off to the side was blowing his nose and a kid behind him was wearing ear phones and bobbing his head to the Scooby Doo movie. Her dark eyes darted their gaze from the passengers to the window beside her and stared out at the sky. Before the brunette even got a good look at anything the plane started to rattle and shake. This wasn't normal flying the Latina knew that much. What the hell was going on? Everyone seemed to be nailed to their seats, oxygen masks dropped instantly and she nearly banged her knee onto the back of someone's seat.
Everything was shaking and things were falling, people who hadn't been properly strapped in were flying every which way. The one thing that caught her attention times ten was the sound of a little girl screaming. Her fingers instantly dug into the belt around her that secured her to her seat but didn't budge. Her fingers tried so hard to dig and dig into the metal but she was losing all thoughts at the moment. Her olive colored hand immediately shot out to grab onto an oxygen mask and place it on herself. Her breathing was intense to say the least and now the person beside her who seemed to be just a teenager was flipping out. She barely could see because of her dark curls falling around her face from the sudden turbulence and a shift in the universe so it seemed.
The kid kept screaming scared that these were his dying minutes. Cortez immediately grabbed onto the other mask above him and slid it over his head and on his face forcefully.
"You're gonna' be all right! Keep breathing!" her raspy voice yelled at the top of her lungs over the horrible screams and air that met metal.
"KEEP BREATHING!" Ana cried out loudly almost as if trying to keep herself in check more than the person next to her. Bull shit, they both had to live so she could take care of the kid.
They were going down, down and now the tail section broke off like clockwork. The last thought in the young woman's mind was that if she lived through this...she would do everything she could do to help and save survivors.
Mark her words, no more deaths, no more sudden outbursts. She had to make things right.
