"Do you have any useful abilities?" The sorcerer has to know about his magic. This is his way of asking about it. But if he’s expecting Stephan to simply spill all his secrets after a simple question like that then he’s going to be sorely disappointed.
“I have a few,” he responds. This vague answer will probably only make the sorcerer angry but he doesn’t want to give the man too much to work with. If you know your enemy you can defeat him and Stephan does not want to be defeated. “Why do you want to know?”

“I have a few,”
Now Rumpel was grinding his teeth, a hint of this was shown as a little movement on his jaw. Oh how tricky you are, Master of Evil..., he thought, even inwardly sarcastic.
“Why do you want to know?”
"Oh, I was just considering if it could be worth to get me another servant. But you seem to be good for nothing. So we maybe just should get back to option one.", Rumpel answered with a shrug of his shoulders, already raising his right hand, in which a ball of magical light appeared.

"Oh, I was just considering if it could be worth to get me another servant. But you seem to be good for nothing. So we maybe just should get back to option one." He resents the good for nothing comment and if the sorcerer had thought there was anyway Stephan would become his servant than he was deluding himself. The sorcerer raises his hand then, a ball of light shimmering there. He doesn’t have time to draw his sword or jump out of the way so instead he tosses up a wall of darkness. The light hits it and both bits of magic dissolve as Stephan pulls out his sword, ready for the next attack. It looks like things have come to a head and fighting will be the only way out. Well, so be it. He waits for the next attack, deciding to start on the defensive and thus asses the sorcerer’s skills so he can learn how to take him down. If it’s a fight Dark One wants it’s a fight he’ll get.

With one little move of his hand Rumpelstiltskin fired the ball of light in the stranger's direction. The man raised his own and a wall of darkness stopped the light ball right in front of the target. Both bits of magic dissolved, as they met each other. Rumpel was seriously impressed by the man's reaction time. Stone-still Rumpel watched his opponent pulling out his sword, ready for a fight, he wouldn't win for sure, even if he maybe wasn't aware of it for now. The Dark One wasn't in the mood for a fight nor was it what he was planning to. His action just served the purpose intended. To get the stranger using his magic. If he hadn't, well, would have reduced the population by one. "Not bad, firebrand.", Rumpel said with an approving gesture. "Not a no-hoper after all, as it seems." Of course he never considered making this man a servant. As if Belle wasn't already enough for his nerves. Plus he really wouldn't be able to stand this obstinate face every day. "So, what are we going to do with you?", he continued, speaking out loud a question to himself, while watching the man, still holding a sword in his hands.

"Not bad, firebrand. Not a no-hoper after all, as it seems." That is when he realizes the man only attacked him to force him into action. It’s a clever move, he has to admit. "So, what are we going to do with you?" It sounds like a rhetorical question but Stephan doesn’t exactly like it. He’s not some object or something and he doesn’t want to be forced to play Dark One’s games any longer.
“You said we would make a deal,” he says. “If you have a deal in mind I would love to hear it. If not then you really have no reason to keep me here.” He knows it is risky being this bold and rash but he won’t be toyed with. He’s not going to let this guy just walk all over him and dictate everything. Dark One forced him into showing his powers so he has all the information he could want for a good deal. Now he needs to either state the deal or let Stephan leave because he has more important things to do that play around with a powerful sorcerer. There is a war at home and he needs to get back. He is going to get back whether Dark One wants him to or not.

“You said we would make a deal,”“If you have a deal in mind I would love to hear it. If not then you really have no reason to keep me here.”
"I do decide when and IF you leave!", Rumpelstiltskin suddenly cut the stranger short with anger in his voice, though the devilish smile came back to his face only seconds later. "You anyway won't be able to open these doors, as long as I don't want you to.", he added visibly amused, as he was the one being in control of the situation. Actually he hadn't decided yet about a deal, just realised that this man seemed to own an interesting and above all unknown power. And unknown powers were always a good base to make a deal.

"I do decide when and IF you leave!" Dark One yells angrily before smiling evilly again. "You anyway won't be able to open these doors, as long as I don't want you to." The man is obviously amused but Stephan is not. He’s not sure whether that thing about the doors is true or not, but he does know that testing it probably isn’t the best route. But neither is staying here indefinitely. Maybe he can suggest a deal. But he doesn’t have anything to trade. Or wait, maybe he does. This man seems curious.
“What if I tell you some about my homeland?” he asks. “If I do that, will you let me go?” He’s knows the man could make him tell and then keep him anyways but this is the best chance he has. He hopes the man will take it.

Rumpelstiltskin had an appraising look on his face, as he watched the stranger pondering. Obviously about what to do next.
“What if I tell you some about my homeland?”, the young man suddenly asked and immediately got the Dark One's attention. “If I do that, will you let me go?”
"Depends on the information, dearie.", Rumpel countered and let an impish giggle follow his words. Why should he yield to other's condition and risk to get nothing? No no, he was the one defining the conditions of a deal. "Why do you think information about your homeland will be worth it for me?", he asked, watching the man urgently, obviously enjoying to play with the mouse in the trap.

"Depends on the information, dearie." Another giggle follows the words and Stephan almost sighs in exasperation. This guy might be a powerful sorcerer, but he’s also getting on Stephan’s nerves. Why can’t he just let Stephan go already? Why does he have to play all these stupid games? "Why do you think information about your homeland will be worth it for me?" Dark One is obviously still toying with him and he feels anger start to rise. This is getting ridiculous.
“You just seem curious,” he states in response. “It’s also the only thing I’m offering you, so take it or leave it, I really don’t care. I do however have places to be so if you could make up your mind that would be wonderful.” That probably wasn’t the best thing to say but he hates the way this man thinks he can just play with people. Besides, he has a battle to lead, and if he doesn’t get back there soon his men could be in serious trouble. He doesn’t have time for games. This man has exhausted his patience so now he’s acting. He just hopes it was the right thing to do.

“You just seem curious,”“It’s also the only thing I’m offering you, so take it or leave it, I really don’t care. I do however have places to be so if you could make up your mind that would be wonderful.”
With every further word the joy on Rumpelstiltskin's face died down a little more. What an annoying crud! Did he really think that it would be wise to talk with the Dark One like that? "Oh, I don't really have to rely on your offer to get what I want. I've methods that made everyone speak so far.", Rumpel answered and showed his teeth in one of his darkest devilish smiles. It wasn't essential to make a deal with this little rat. Torture could become the light of this day either.

"Oh, I don't really have to rely on your offer to get what I want. I've methods that made everyone speak so far." Torture. This man is threatening him with torture. He frowns, holding his sword and moving into a fighting stance.
“You know, the howling wind will only make me put on more coats,” he states, referring to an old fable. Torture won’t work on him. He’s been through too much in his life to let a little thing like torture affect him. Still, he’s not going to let it come to that. Dark One wants to be mean? Fine, let him. Stephan is going to fight him though. This man seems to be a tyrant like some of the ones he’s come across before and he refuses to let this man walk over him, powerful sorcerer or not. He lets a ball of dark energy spring into his hand as he stares down the man before him. Dark One thinks he can take what he wants? Well, he’s wrong. Stephan is going to give him the fight of his life.

“You know, the howling wind will only make me put on more coats,”, the rat answered him, already moving into a fighting stance. What a cute picture. In the beginning all of them, hazard to fight him, were like this. But in the end they all had to realize what a waste of time and power it is.
Rumpelstiltskin made no pretence of his derision, let out another amused high-pitched giggle. "Believe me, boy, you're not the first one trying this and you won't be the first one regret it.", the Dark One said with a completely unimpressed look on his face, as his opponent let a ball of dark energy appear in his hand. There still was this playful tone in his voice, wittingly used to show his superiority. "So, you still want to try or mean to entertain me as my personal jester, juggle with your little magic ball?", Rumpel continued provoke the young man.

"Believe me, boy, you're not the first one trying this and you won't be the first one regret it." That might be true or might not but he’s willing to try his luck. Dark One doesn’t know much about him just like he doesn’t know much about Dark One. He has to get home and it’s obvious the man isn’t just going to let him go so fighting is his only option. He won’t regret doing what’s necessary. "So, you still want to try or mean to entertain me as my personal jester, juggle with your little magic ball?" The guy is still treating it like a joke.
“Here’s the thing Dark One; I will not stay here. Either accept my previous deal or we’ll see just how good you really are in a fight.” He doubts the man is really as good as he says he is and even if he is, Stephan is sure he has a surprise factor. Dark One does too; they’ve both never fought sorcerers like each other before. However Stephan is great at adapting. It’s what he’s had to do his whole life and he thinks he may just be able to adapt quickly enough to knock the guy out and get away. Really, it’s the only option he has left if the man continues to refuse his deal. He braces himself then, ready for the man to attack at any moment. Whatever he does, Stephan will be ready.

“Here’s the thing Dark One; I will not stay here. Either accept my previous deal or we’ll see just how good you really are in a fight.”
The devilish smile on the Dark One's face again faded for a moment. This was going to get boring. He was loosing the interest in dealing with this rat at all. Above all as long as the rat made out that he would define the conditions for a deal. Rumpel was the one making deals.
"I should seriously think about hire you as my jester, well, if your blathering wouldn't go on my nerves.", he answered without reacting on his opponent's announcement. How much more teasing was needed to let the rat bite, Rumpel thought in amusement. Little animal experiment?

"I should seriously think about hire you as my jester, well, if your blathering wouldn't go on my nerves." The man is still taking it as a joke. Unbelievable. Well, fine then. Stephan can play along.
“You wanted me to juggle?” he remembers, flexing his left hand to make more dark balls appear next to the first. They spin rapidly in his hand as he regards the man before him. “I can do more than juggle.” And then he sends the balls outward, having them slam into the doors and windows. The doors hold, likely due to whatever spell to sorcerer put on them, but the windows shatter. And then he’s running toward the closest one. He’s well aware he probably won’t make it but it’s worth a try. He keeps his wits about him, ready for an attack as he attempts his escape.

“You wanted me to juggle?”, the rat suddenly asked, while creating more magic balls in his hand to juggle with them. Rumpelstiltskin answered with a weary smile, totally unimpressed. “I can do more than juggle.”
Before Rumpel was able to react, the magic balls were sent out in every direction of the hall, slammed into the doors and the windows, shattering them. Within seconds the joy vanished from his eyes and instead anger was filling them. He yet saw the rat trying to flee out of its trap, as Rumpel suddenly appeared right in front of him - of course with the use of magic. He blocked the way out, holding a sharp splinter of glass at the man's throat. "You better shouldn't have done that.", he threatened, now showing real anger. Not even that this rat burgled in his house, now he smashed his furnishing as well. "Any last words?", he asked, seriously ready to stab out.

The intellectual side of Belle knew that she should ignore the commotion coming from the Great Hall. The caustic sound of shattering glass- the windows no doubt- well informed her that nothing good was transpiring beyond that door and that she would be smartest to keep out of it. But, despite her penchant for the literary word and wit, Belle's intellectual side did not always rule the day and at this particular moment the adventurer took control.
She was not prepared for the sight that greeted her as she crossed the threshold into the elaborate chamber.
"Any last words?"
"Rumple!" The nickname tumbled into the air, completely unbidden by anything but Belle's own shock at seeing the jagged shard held at a stranger's neck. The surprise was her own fault. After moments like the one they shared over breakfast, that gentleness that she could sense even as he fought to keep it hidden, she often let herself forget this side of the man who by all intents and purposes served as her master.
Belle the Intellectual fought to the fore front. Rumplestiltskin didn't like it when she intervened. She could make it worse. She didn't have all the facts, didn't know what this stranger had done to stoke the Dark One's ire. She should just turn around and leave him to his...work.
And if Belle had been a different person, she just might have.
"Stop. Please." Her tone had more air of pleading than command. Honestly, there was no command there at all. Just a prayer that Rumplestiltskin would find the man that Belle knew was buried beneath what others saw as the monster. If not for this stranger, than for himself.
She left it at that, a heavy silence taking the space of any more spoken word as a choice had to be made.

"Rumple!", a female voice was sounding through the hall, made him pause and roll his eyes.
Why the hell Belle had to enter in a moment like this? Didn't she had a lot of housework to do? Sure she had.
"Stop. Please.", she shouted out another time.
"Belle!", Rumpelstiltskin was turning around furiously, automatically lowered the splinter in his hand. "I'm busy here, as you can see. Go clean anything." With these words he turned back to the man, who dared to smash his windows, though of course it wouldn't be more like a clap of his hands to repeair them. But this was a matter of principle. "Now, where were we?", Rumpel asked with a devilish smile, ignoring that Belle still was standing behind.

Stephan
Dark One was suddenly in front of him and he skidded to a stop, silently cursing his bad luck. Of course magic here would allow for teleportation. Why not? And then there is a sharp bit of glass at his throat and he realizes instantly just how dangerous this situation has become. "You better shouldn't have done that,” Dark One tells him as if he had a choice in the matter. He has to leave. What else was he supposed to do? "Any last words?" No. This isn’t the end so he has no last words. Instead he has a plan forming. He can destroy the glass with his magic before the man stabs him, no problem. Then he’ll take a step back so he can use his sword better and…
"Rumple!" He turns his head as much as he can without cutting himself so he can see the woman now standing in the room with them. It looks like a new player has entered the game, and it looks like this actually might be to his advantage for once. "Stop. Please." Yep, definitely a turn for the better.
"Belle!" The man is angry at the intrusion but at least he lowers the glass a bit. Stephan takes the opportunity to back off a little, get a some more room between himself and his attacker. "I'm busy here, as you can see. Go clean anything." And then this Rumple’s full attention is back on Stephan. "Now, where were we?"
“You were about to try and slit my throat because I was trying to escape,” he states matter of factly as he destroys the glass shard in the man’s hand with dark magic, stepping back a bit more so he can weld his sword a bit better. “Sorry about the mess,” he adds with a slight nod in the direction of the woman. His eyes never leave Dark One though. “If Rumple here would stop trying to kill me I’d help clean up.” This is probably the best way to get the man to start attacking him, but Stephan never has been the best at watching what he says. Besides, he means every word of it. He just hopes the man will act reasonably instead of trying to kill him.

“You were about to try and slit my throat because I was trying to escape,”
"Oh yeah, right!", Rumpel spat out in a high-pitched tone, as his opponent was cutting off his plan to change the try into a did. Suddenly the glass shard shattered in his hands, left a scar behind. Rumpel abstractedly looked down at the thin trail of blood. It didn't hurt at all, but this rat effectively managed to harm him in a moment of surprise.
“Sorry about the mess,”“If Rumple here would stop trying to kill me I’d help clean up.”, the rat directed towards Belle, who still was standing in the background. Rumpelstiltskin made a short grunting sound at hearing the stranger calling him Rumpel. Where shall this end up? At first people are calling him Rumpel and in the end might showing their gratitude with lollypops for making deals with him! Belle... This was all her fault! "You", the Dark One directed towards the stranger with the sword in his hands, pointed a finger at him. "will soon feel sorry for ever be born after the pain I'll let you go through." He really was seething with rage. "And you...", Rumpel added to Belle even louder, let his pointing finger fly around. "will clean up all the mess when I'm finish here. Now leave!"

Stephan
"You", Dark One says, pointing straight at him, "will soon feel sorry for ever be born after the pain I'll let you go through." No. No, that is not true at all. Because he has been through pain. Through loss. He has endured more than he’d ever even imagined possible. Hell on earth. He understands that expression. And if this man thinks some torture is going to be enough to make him wish he wasn’t born, well that just proves he doesn’t know Stephan at all. Because Stephan has been through torture before and for moments he has wished that he was never born. But now? He’s worked through that. And now, after everything that has happened, he will never again make that wish. "And you..." the man continues, rounding on his maid, "will clean up all the mess when I'm finish here. Now leave!" The smart thing. Stephan really out to start doing the smart thing a get humble quick. Or maybe just keep his mouth shut completely. That might be wise. And Stephan has been known to be wise at times. Really he has. But this guy just pushes all the wrong buttons.
“You do know I was tortured for over a decade, right?” Well no, of course he doesn’t. Dark One doesn’t know him at all. There is no way he could know that. But still, he’s informing him now. “Your threats don’t scare me.” Because they don’t. Torture at the hands of this man will be nothing compared to torture at the hands of those he had cared for. And even death doesn’t scare him. Okay, it kind of does. But he has been courting death for many a year and the consummation of it won’t be that bad. As much as he worries how his army will fare without him, if he should fall he thinks they can do fine on their own. He has to believe that, especially now that there might be no way for him to get back. “And you really ought to be nicer to Belle. Who knows what she might do to your house otherwise?” Oh what’s this? My death warrant? Sure I’ll sign it! Why not?

"Belle!", "I'm busy here, as you can see. Go clean anything."
Just like that, the morning was gone. She was the maid again, only there to keep house and to keep her mouth shut of any and all opinions. Her eyes narrowed in annoyance as Rumpelstiltskin turned back to the stranger, presumably to finish what he started while ignoring her in the process. "Now, where were we?"
“You were about to try and slit my throat because I was trying to escape,” The stranger quipped back, a dark magic appearing before him. Startled, Belle jumped as the shard of glass clutched in Rumpelstiltskin's hand was reduced to little more than thin slivers falling like snow to the tiles at his feet.
This man also had dark magic.
Suddenly, coming into this room did not seem like the best idea.
The man casually acknowledged her, his tone giving away no fear or hesitation despite the fact that he was facing the Dark One. Belle had to wonder if he were very brave or very foolish- or perhaps powerful enough to hold his own. “Sorry about the mess. If Rumple here would stop trying to kill me I’d help clean up.”
This seemed to strike a chord in Rumpelstiltskin. The playful pretense vanished completely, his tone ringing with a dangerous edge of rage. "You will soon feel sorry for ever be born after the pain I'll let you go through."
Rage that she soon felt directed towards her. Not taking his attention from the man in front of him, Rumpelstiltskin pointed towards her with an angry growl, "And you... will clean up all the mess when I'm finish here. Now leave!"
But she didn't leave. Whether it be anger or foolishness of her own, Belle stayed firmly planted to the floor and her mouth opened to fire a response back. The stranger beat her to it. “You do know I was tortured for over a decade, right?” “Your threats don’t scare me.”
His voice hung in the air, followed by a pregnant silence.
For whatever reason, Belle felt sympathy for this man. She didn't know him but the deep weight behind those words spoke volumes.
And they seemed to share the trait of being unable to keep from provoking Rumpelstiltskin, “And you really ought to be nicer to Belle. Who knows what she might do to your house otherwise?”
That would be enough, Belle knew. Rumpelstiltskin was not known for holding his temper. She only had a split second to make her decision before she found herself standing directly between the two men, facing Rumpelstiltskin while she blocked the stranger from his magic. "Please," she repeated, keeping her voice even, "Rumpelstiltskin, there has to be another way. You don't need to do this."

“You do know I was tortured for over a decade, right?” Well, no! And why would I care anyway?, he thought at the comment coming from his side and again made him turn around totally out of patience. “Your threats don’t scare me.” Is that so?, Rumpelstiltskin thought, even inwardly with clenched teeth, not willing to hear more of that. “And you really ought to be nicer to Belle. Who knows what she might do to your house otherwise?” ...And of course more of it came out. And then silence. None of the three of them said any word. Actually it were only seconds, in which Rumpel was thinking about, if he should torture the rat for a while or better kill him off just quickly. As he was about to decide for the second, Belle suddenly jumped between them.
"Please,""Rumpelstiltskin, there has to be another way. You don't need to do this."
"Oh, of course I don't need to. But I want to!", Rumpel replied with the high-pitched voice of the Dark One, as he raised one hand and let disappear Belle just on the spot, didn't pay attention to the rat behind him, even if it took him only seconds...

Silence hangs in the air for a moment. He looks into the eyes of the sorcerer in front of him and he can tell he hasn’t made this easy for himself. Dark One doesn’t seem inclined to do anything merciful or nice in the slightest. He’s probably about to be tortured again or killed if he can’t defeat this man. This is what he gets for letting his emotions take control. He really should know better. "Please," the maid says then, startling him. It seems as though she’s going to continue to stand up for him. He knows she probably shouldn’t be but it feels nice to see that someone here at least remotely cares about his well-being. "Rumpelstiltskin, there has to be another way. You don't need to do this."
"Oh, of course I don't need to. But I want to!" He’s turned away now, enveloping Belle in smoke. It looks like the teleporting smoke from earlier but he can’t be sure that’s what it is. This man could be hurting that girl. He will try to hurt Stephan more. He has a split second to act and he doesn’t hesitate. He takes it, shooting out his dark magic at the man even as he prepares for Dark One to appear behind him. Hopefully he’ll succeed in incapacitating the guy, but if he doesn’t he’s ready for an attack. It’s come down to a fight. There’s no other way out. So Stephan is going to win or die trying.

Suddenly something appeared in the corner of Rumpelstiltskin's eyes, too fast to let him react with his usual agility. It seemed he was distracted by sending Belle out one second too long, as the dark magic attack almost managed to hit him. He had only the time of an eye blinking to deflect the attack, not with using his own magic, but instead with reflect the rat's own attack back to himself. The fightback threw him some meters away from Rumpel. Black fog was swirling through the hall. But instead of starting an attack on his own, the Dark One stayed unmoving, breathing harder than usual. This guy really had nerves and above all really stretched his. Rumpelstiltskin's hand still was raised up like stopped in the movement to deflect the attack. His eyes flaring. Silent.

The sorcerer blocks him just in time and as he does, Stephan can feel it. The darkness. It’s gone. His breath hitches in panic. He knows this feeling all too well. He hastily looks down at his orb and too his relief sees it’s still swirling with darkness. He must just be blocked from accessing it somehow. He breathes deeply, trying to stem his panic attack. He’s going to be okay. Events are not going to repeat themselves. He can fight with a sword. He’s fought against magic with just a sword before. Granted not someone this powerful but he can try not to get caught. Because if he gets caught and tortured now, without the soothing feel of the darkness, he’ll fall apart. He won’t be able to handle the flash backs that will cause.
He straightens up a bit, tightening his hold on his sword. The other man is just watching, waiting for him to do something no doubt. Probably expecting him to surrender. Isn’t that frustrating? Well, he supposes he could try to talk this out again. It hasn’t been working but to be honest he knows fighting with his sword isn’t going to work that great either. “Alright, you win,” he admits. “You’re more powerful than me, okay? So just tell me what you want me to do or attack already. There’s no need to draw this out.”

Rumpelstiltskin's eyes didn't lose sight of his opponent. Staying concentrated he watched the man straighten himself up. To his astonishment the man tightened the hold on his sword, instead of starting another attack with his magic. Rumpel wondered why. As if this question was standing on his face, his reptile eyes were narrowed to slits, still didn't move. As the man seemed to let his sword sink a little, Rumpel's features slackened at last.
“Alright, you win,” What?! Inwardly his face went totally puzzled, but he tried to stay unfazed. “You’re more powerful than me, okay? So just tell me what you want me to do or attack already. There’s no need to draw this out.” And while the rat was talking, a sudden premonition came to his mind. And then his features were slowly getting more and more relaxed, almost triumphantly. For a moment he let silence follow his opponent's words, only to outfacing him with the knowing grin on his lips. "You don't attack me again with magic.", he started with a fact, now approaching the man, walking circles around him like he was a bird in a cage. "At some reason you aren't able to...", Rumpelstiltskin lastly assumed, visibly enjoying the turn of their situation, even though he did not know why was that. He even let out a high-pitched giggle, as he stopped his steps right in front of the man. "Why is that so?", he suddenly wanted to know.

The sorcerer grins triumphantly but only after he’s done speaking. Had he not known? "You don't attack me again with magic." Apparently not. And he’d been an idiot and gave it away. Well it’s too late now. All he can do is try not to panic as Dark One starts to circle him. He keeps his head facing front, refusing to follow the man with his head like some fool. He can hear the footsteps well enough to know what the man is doing, for all the good that will do him. "At some reason you aren't able to..." He giggles then with malicious glee. Stephan feels dread settle in the pit of his stomach but he keeps his face schooled in a mask. That won’t help that much. They both know he can’t do all that much against the sorcerer without his magic. Even though his sword can deflect and absorb different types of spells, this powerful man is sure to win a fight now. All Stephan could do is prolong his fate. There is nothing he could do. He hates that.
Dark One comes to a stop right in front of him, far too close for comfort. Curious eyes with mal intent stare into his own and he hopes that the man can’t tell just how scared he actually is. "Why is that so?" More dread mounts at that question. He’s all too familiar how this game works. The captor asks a question, or orders you to do something. If your answer isn’t satisfactory… well Stephan didn’t get his scares from an accident, that’s for sure.
“I don’t know,” he answers truthfully, hating that a tremor had almost snuck into his voice. He’s gone from confident to terrified in no time flat. He hates that. He hates that the loss of his magic and the treat of torture can do that to him. He hates how weak he is. He can’t think on that though. Not if he wants to avoid getting hurt. “I thought you did it on purpose.”

Rumpelstiltskin was full of joy to see the that swanky rat sweating. He was pretty scared without his magic. He wouldn't admit, but Rumpel knew.
“I don’t know,”, the man lastly answered to his regret. “I thought you did it on purpose.”
"You're lying!", the Dark One suddenly shouted, doing one step back to point with a finger at him. Before the man however could have reacted, Rumpel calmed himself down a little and instead shouting continued with clenched teeth, approaching him again to seize him by the collar. "All right, if you don't know why, but then I suppose you know how..."
