Um, hi, have you met me? I'm not a "go with the flow" kind of girl. I will try to be better about letting go. But I confess that work has been hell the last few weeks, so I don't have much mental power left over for this place. Keeping track of multiple timelines here and at Marvel on top of the other RPGs has been really difficult. It makes things easier for me to know where a scene is going so I can figure out how to get there, but I respect that doesn't work for other people. I also don't want this to feel like work. I was just concerned about the mechanics of them leaving this fight at the Sanctuary to go back to their camp, because it's likely Ecksley's people would follow them and just kill everybody. I think it makes more sense now that Negan and the others are at the Sanctuary, that they find a way to stay there. I like your idea of him being injured during the fight. Not severely, at first, but infection is always a risk. And Negan would have to swallow his pride and actually accept help from Dr. Shaw.

Sorry I'm replying this message only now. I'm still on vacation away from home, but realized that my next owe to fulfill my minimum is still this one, which makes it difficult for me. Also, I still hope you didn't get anything I said as an offense. I can understand your way of writing, but it doesn't work so good in RPG writing for me, but instead only for writing on my novels. And the latter, I do see as kind of work, which is important even, for it's more complicated to plan when you're only on your own. Anyways, as for RPG, I guess I like a mix of plotting and going with the flow. So, how shall we go on now? As I said, nothing I suggested was set in stone for me, so I'm open to anything. :-) Kristi Lynne Ariel

I know Negan has a knife at Ecksley's throat, but Lucille is still close by, right? So maybe Ecksley does manage to stab Negan in the leg, and then Negan slits his throat. Eckley's out, and someone (or Negan himself) manages to get a tourniquet around his leg to slow the bleeding. He could climb up to that platform, start banging on the railing with Lucille enough to get everyone's attention. Then make a speech like, "Hey, that dude's dead, this is my place now. If you don't like it, take a walk outside and join the dead." DarkSideCookie Ariel

So, I finally posted for Negan in our flashback scene. I think we can wrap that scene up soon then. My suggestion of having Negan wake up in a sickbed, for maybe the injury in his leg caused an infection that we all know is a dangerous thing those days, still stands. I'm sure we could come up with interesting scenes around that starting point, but if you think not, then I actually suggest to leave the flashback writing at that for the time being, until we might come up with another interesting plot, I mean. I don't like forcing something, especially since we still have the present timeline with them. Kristi Lynne Ariel
