It could be Neville Longbottom. He becomes the Herbology teacher and I think he could be the head of Gryffindor.

Heyho guys! I decided to join with Snape soon! But before I do, I'll have to settle some things with you, as I need your okays. I want Snape bring back to Hogwarts!! BUT... as everybody thinks that he is dead (for more info read the bio ), I'll not bring him back as Severus Snape, but as a teacher for potions (I thought it would be funny to not let him have the "defense against the dark arts" job, as it AGAIN is too hard to get it ). I need to think about a name for camouflage him yet. I thought about Snape could have checkmate (howsoever ) the real potion teacher, who should have start the job that year. And then taking over his role. Just like Barty did with Mad-Eye. We could start with a RP in the Headmaster's office, if you're ok with that, Kevin? Snape could arrive a little late and because of that walk into the office. Medieval Kevin

Interesting, so he would pop into Marius' Office just before the ceremony? I think he is heading down to the main hall with Anya but he could set her up in the adjoining room and come back to the office for a little bit if he knew he had a visitor.

Or I could let Snape walk into them. Maybe Marius heard about the new teacher was sick (maybe he really was), but as Snape takes over his role, he explains to decided to come to Hogwarts, as his cold or something like that got better suddenly I just haven't read over all the posts yet. Where is Marius at the moment?

Could I say that due to the potion which gives him the look of another person also gave him a little bit of his eyesight back? I remember there was such an effect on Harry in the movie with glasses, but the other way. He or Ron had to wear glasses suddenly. It would make it a little easier to let everyone think that he is that teacher

Shiny! Would make it a little easier not to play a completely blind teacher lol. And as Snape actually is out of his eyesight, I thought it can't bring back his eyesight totally.

Yah, that makes sense, Ilona. The Polyjuice Potion did also give you the effects of that person as well so if he used the hair of someone with eyesight, he'd have eyesight like how Barty Jr.'s one eye went away when he was on the potion and Harry not needing classes, etc. Also, it's better that he's Potions teacher because then that gives him complete access to continue to use the supplies needed for the Polyjuice Potion or whatever he's using for the transformation.

I thought the same about letting him be potion teacher again, Heidi. What else could be interesting to play, is when the effect of the potion comes to an end, he will slowly loose his eyesight.

Since Headmaster Ogden isn't to the great hall yet, but everyone else is there or just about to be there I had the Sorting Hat start singing, but was planning on not having it stop until the headmaster showed up. What do y'all think?

So, I learned that the Room of Requirement can't create food out of nothing, so Jake has to get his food elsewhere. I thought maybe Oliver could have brought him food a while ago, and he uses spells to preserve it and multiply it, because that's actually possible. What do you guys think?

Hey y'all! I'm looking for something for Anya to do. I was thinking that since she's alone, she'll have had her fill of watching the ceremony and will have been done eating long before everyone else so I picture her itching to explore. Since Marius left her on her own and now disappeared to take care of the problem with Kaeden, I think she's going to take it upon her self to find a door out of that room to wander the castle.
I'm having a heck of a time trying to find a decent and/or accurate layout of Hogwarts. I'm trying to find out what lays beyond that room, which looks like is called the antechamber. I'm sure the only exit isn't through to the great hall. There's got to be one other door going to somewhere else, right? Anybody remember?
So even if there actually is no way out of the antechamber accept to the great hall, there can always be a magical doorway or something, at least maybe the Room of Requirement door can appear.
Either way, just trying to figure something for Anya by way of exploration, whether it be chatting with one of the pictures, a ghost, a house elf, etc. Or just kinda skip ahead a little to her already wandering when the students are let out and she's all of a sudden lost in a sea of students. Were the students allowed to leave whenever they wanted/were done or did they have to wait until they were all excused after that first meal?
Thoughts? Ideas?

I know that Kevin wanted Marius to make some other announcements before all the students are dismissed, so we may want to hold off on a time jump until he finishes with Kaeden (I can't do much else with Gwen right now either until she and Oliver leave the Great Hall).
Kevin searched high and low for a detailed, accurate map of Hogwarts and it is impossible! I don't think there would be a problem with there being another door there to a different part of the castle. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing one of the teachers come through a door in an alcove towards the front of the Great Hall in the films. It probably would just be a regular door though, not magical.

That all makes sense. And Heidi, Ziz and I were planning stuff out. I think pretty soon Nick is going to try to pull Tharin out of the Great Hall to get more info so she could run into them Or I could always tempt play Radby the house elf if you want. Or make him a real character. I seem to be tempting him a lot.

Yah, I'm up for anything, Vye! I'll have her wander out to the hallway and anyone can feel free to temp-play a character in a portrait, house elf, or even if your character wanders out for whatever reason, be it Nick and Tharin or whoever.

Hey everybody, sorry for Marius' tying things up, when he zips back from dealing with Kaeden he had an announcement to make before everyone can officially leave the feast but I wanted to talk to you all first! The big news for your characters is he is going to announce the return of the Tri-Wizard Tournament! The only thing that has changed this time around is they have reworked it into a team based competition. This is for safety's sake in our setting but for us as players we each get a chance to enter our characters names into the running and two students from each school will be chosen. All of us will be the ones who decide which characters actually get to be the ones to participate. And then we will take a vote to see of those involved, which one will be the champion. Once we know how its going to pan out feel free to role play the heck out of it to surprise us all because competing or not, we will all be watching and cheering! Any questions or concerns please feel free to start this discussion now, Amelia can help fill you in too if I forgot something! I think Kevin forgot the big dramatic moment. Hogwarts will be hosting a......
TRI-WIZARD TOURNAMENT!!!!!!
Woo! Now that is settled, a few more details.
So, our idea is that it will be open to students 6th year and up. If anyone is interested in having their character compete, we'll have a nomination thread (putting your name in the Goblet, if you will). Once nominations have been given, we will set up a poll with the eligible students and everyone will have an anonymous vote. Kevin and I were leaning towards teams of two rather than the traditional solo student- letting more players be involved as champions and also making it easier to RP the tasks. In that case, everyone will be asked to vote for two who they believe are the best fit (not necessarily together, but who show the talent to be chosen). If anyone still wants to compete though their character has not been chosen, we still need champions from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang so they are invited to created either permanent or temporary characters as champions from those schools.
Best of all, as host to the tournament Hogwarts will also host the Yuleball (which we were thinking would be third years and up because Drew and Carter in dress robes is just waaaaaaaay too adorable to miss).
We welcome all suggestions and comments so this will really be something we can all be involved in!

booksmartHey Booksmart, just an fyi for your next post. If Kaeden starts to try and trash Marius's office while he is gone there is a charm on his items that if they are moved from their place and misplaced or thrown around or otherwise vandalized they simple fix themselves/return to their proper place lol

Hey guys! So, regarding the Triwizard Tournament. I know it's a long way out, but I really want Jake to be involved somehow; in a big way. Obviously, he can't be a champion, but that doesn't mean he can't do something big. I've come up with a few different ways for him to be involved, but it's too far out to know if any of them will work yet. So, just kind of letting you guys know, and wondering if it'd be okay for him to do something big there. I'm thinking that may even be when the school discovers he exists. Just something to think about. If you want to know my ideas, I can say them. I really just want him to be involved in a big way.

well if your okay with it revealing his existence, and saying Oliver somehow is one of the champions; Jake could literally jump in and save his hide when he's in some serious trouble! just a thought lol and that hinges on whether Oliver gets voted in as one of the peeps.

Question regarding the room of requirement. Seeing as it created another entrance between it and Hogsmeade because that entrance was really needed, wouldn't the room of requirement be able to create an entrance to almost anywhere if it was required?

I did not read the last couple books so I'm no expert but that was the impression I got from the movies.
