*** Callum enters from Chamber of Reception ***
Although Callum hadn't wasted more than a moment to follow Anya's steps out of the crowded chamber, she had disappeared out of his view in no time. A curse upon these ignorant students of not making way for someone in a hurry; not even for a Malfoy. Not that he had ever contemplated making use of this factor for advantage's sake, other than his snotty little brother, but he wouldn't have had any objection to getting advantaged by it for once.
When Callum had been almost about to give up and to just head somewhere else in the hopes at least Ralph would turn up again at some time, there suddenly had been a movement that got caught by his eyes. "There you are, little bugger.", he had uttered with a grin, quickening his pace once again. The little dragon had shooed him through the corridor with actually a sporting pace, although Callum couldn't have helped but believing he had had a look back at him every now and then, almost as if making sure Callum was still right behind.
Eventually, the wild chase led him to the courtyard outside of the entrance hall. With some hard breathing, Callum rested his hands on his knees. Sure, he was no overweight wiener or sort of, but sports wasn't exactly something standing right on top of his activity list. When Callum looked up next time, he spotted Ralph flying up the roof across the entrance where he was still standing. "Oh, you son of a...", he started cursing in a whispered tone, when suddenly seeing someone else sitting on the roof, right now getting accompany from Ralph. This was when, along with a quite hawk, Callum was no longer exhausted from the sporting walk up here all of a sudden. With casual moves, he stepped closer to the wall opposite him and climbed it up, luckily not too ungainly.
"So, you've found him. Or he has found you.", Callum stated as casual as he had walked towards the wall, once he had reached Anya and Ralph at the top of the roof.

Ralph flew across Anya's view then landed beside her. "I'm not speaking to you," she said with an accusatory tone. Ralph simply looked back at her and she could swear he looked quite pleased with himself. She sighed and shook her head. Of course she would forgive him eventually for embarrassing her. Probably quickly, she assumed, after another glance at his adorable reptilian face.
"So, you've found him. Or he has found you."
Anya turned, surprised to hear Callum's voice up here. "Careful," she said, quickly pushing the snow on the roof beside her clear. "It's dangerous walking up here," she chastised. It may have sounded funny coming from someone who was already up here, especially since Callum didn't know about Anya's cat burglar days of climbing and crawling around buildings. She stood and held out her hand. "Take my hand," she said, not a request but a polite demand, wanting to be sure to steady him in case he hit a slippery patch.

"Careful,""It's dangerous walking up here,"
Callum gave her a crooked smile at that, for a moment looking like he was going to say something, only to shut his mouth again a second later without having said anything at all. Well, this was stubborn Anya, so what would be any objection for?
"Take my hand,"
With a deep sigh, maybe to express at least a little bit of his objection, Callum did as he was told. With her helping hand, he was sitting right next to her in no time.
"So... hope he didn't cause any new trouble?", he stated half questioning and with a pretended curious look, trying to hide his inner amusement the best he could. Of course, he knew exactly what kind of trouble Ralph had caused this time, and for some reason, Callum didn't look at that as trouble at all.

"The little bugger bit someone!" she said incredulously. Anya shot Ralph another look and addressed him in an accusatory tone. "He'll probably never talk to me again, thanks to you." Ralph showed absolutely no remorse and Anya gave a sigh of resignation.
Anya recalled glimpsing Callum on her rush out of the Chamber of Reception. Darleena and Sherlock's warning about how dangerous the games could be had her brow creasing with concern as she turned her attention back to Callum. "You didn't put your name in, did you?"

"The little bugger bit someone!"
Callum tried his best to put on a No kidding? face, while there was at least the slightest movement on his lips. He could call it luck that she was throwing a look at Ralph right that moment.
"He'll probably never talk to me again, thanks to you."
"That was really rude, Ralph.", Callum stated while Anya's front was still turned away from him. And so he dared to send a quick good job, mate towards the little dragon following right after. He had been pretty near to got chased down by Anya's sudden look back at him though.
"You didn't put your name in, did you?"
Callum gave her a rather disbelieving expression at that while resting his arms on his bent knees. "You mean to wallow in everyone's cheering, solving some stupid riddles and choose from one of the offered horrific deaths? No, I didn't.", he closed with a faked wide smile.

Anya chuckled at his dramatic response. Even his faked smiles were infectious. To stop herself from staring at his smile, Anya casually rested her head against his shoulder and looked out at the landscape. 'He likes someone else,' she reminded herself. She also really loved the friendship they shared, casual and open, and she loved spending time with him. Would she want to risk losing that even if his heart didn't belong to someone else?
Pushing the pointless hypothetical thoughts aside, she finally said, "Good." Anya crossed her arms against the chill in the air. Leaning against him was definitely helping to keep her warm. "Saves me the headache of having to find a new bestie. I'd've taken good care of Ralph for you though." Anya grinned despite the morbid topic.

Callum's faked smile was diminishing before it finally changed into a softer, yet true one. His eyes wandered at exactly the same section Anya's did. The wind has gotten colder at this season of the year but right this moment there was nothing but a warmness coming over him. Callum actually had never been as close with anybody as he was with her. This friendship might have brought up the best inside of him. No fake, no sarcasm. Well, sometimes. But that was only to tease her good-natured of course. Anyways, this was something to call real. Something that even had made him stop writing poems or scrabbling faces into his notebook long since; without his realization that was.
"Good.""Saves me the headache of having to find a new bestie. I'd've taken good care of Ralph for you though."
And then a grin spread across his face once again. "You think you'd be able to handle him? Oh, you wouldn't.", Callum added with a provoking smile immediately afterward, earning a quick disgruntled look from Ralph at that. "At least you'd never go on a date, right?" And yet again did he had to hide the knowledge about what had been going on in the chamber in detail. Besides, it wasn't really obvious if his last comment had been meant to sound like a negative or actually a positive point. Maybe something that wasn't even obvious to himself.

"You think you'd be able to handle him? Oh, you wouldn't."
Anya tipped her head up to give Callum a mock glare before also settling her sight on the little beast at question. "I could," she decided.
"At least you'd never go on a date, right?"
Anya laughed as a sudden image popped into her head. "I'll be one of those old spinsters except with dragons instead of cats." Anya suddenly made a connection in his statement. She shot up to look at him, eyes wide in mortification and surprise. "You saw what happened?" She lightly punched his arm for playing coy then placed her hands over her face to hide her embarrassment. "Ugh, how much did you see?" she asked, peeking at him through her fingers.

"I'll be one of those old spinsters except with dragons instead of cats."
And that was one among other things he loved about Anya: she had a sense of humor. When she suddenly shot him a look of mortification though, he felt like just have given himself away with this little joke. But hey, if she allowed Gaston to hit on her in the middle of a public place, she had to reckon that someone could watch.
"You saw what happened?""Ugh, how much did you see?"
Callum couldn't suppress a slight grin at her sudden punch against his arm. He caught himself finding her reaction kind of cute, in the platonic way of course, and at the same time bothering about it. Her question almost sounded like there had happened something more than just what he saw. Her business of course, but Callum truly doubted this type of guy was the right type of guy for her. Not that he would have thought about this before anyway.
"Enough to tell you that you can be glad Ralph helped out regarding your bad choice of men.", Callum replied chuckling with another look into Ralph's direction, this time especially to not receive Anya's presumably look of a thousand deaths. But then again, she had to know he was right judging by the exemplar she had allowed to hit on her.

Embarrassment forgotten, Anya's hands dropped down into her lap and she looked at Callum, frowning in puzzlement. Dimi was from a different school. There wasn't any way Callum could possibly have known him. Could he? Being the victim of people judging her without knowing her, and Callum too, for that matter, Anya was quick to come to Dimi's defense.
"Dimi was a perfect gentleman." Well, maybe 'gentleman' wasn't the right word as she recalled the gruff way he'd pushed people aside while calling them a name but he'd done that to retrieve the journal that had been knocked out of her hands. "He chased after my journal for me after the rowdy students knocked it out of my hands and stopped me from face planting onto the ground when someone knocked me off balance." Well, he hadn't exactly had to do anything to stop her from falling. He'd happened to be standing in the right place to break her fall and the weight of her falling forward was apparently like a feather hitting a brick wall. "That's all that happened other than--nothing." Anya barely stopped herself from mentioning her very first distant interaction with Dimi. She shifted uncomfortably and faced the landscape again, holding back how silly and embarrassing it sounded in her mind and how even worse it would have been if she'd said it out loud. "That's all."

Callum listened to her reporting with mixed feelings. On the one hand with an inexplicable satisfaction about it hadn't happened more between them and on the other hand with slight annoyance about getting informed about anything else that had happened. Did they actually ever had a conversation like this? It seemed the releasing of hormones didn't even bypass Anya from who he had expected something else; whatever that had been.
When she added another "That's all", Callum was far away from believing her, at least concerning the emotional part. His eyes lay on her for some more seconds, in which she seemed to frantically watch the landscape before he turned his gaze ahead as well.
"You can do what you want. If that means getting hooked up by a small-minded beefcake, sure, go for it.", he stated with a shrug of his shoulders, playing the casual. Of course, Callum knew that this probably wasn't the best to say, but it just had come over his lips.

Anya wasn't sure what annoyed her more; the fact he was judging again or the fact he didn't seem to care the tiniest bit who she did or did not date.
Frowning, she turned to face him again. "Well. Aren't you quick to judge, Malfoy," she pointedly added as she got to her feet, reminding him that his last name caused him unfair prejudging.
Anya headed back for the pillar and started to climb her way down. They'd never bickered like this before. It bothered her to leave things this way. When she was nearly chin level to the roof, she grabbed a handful of snow from the ledge and chucked it at Callum's back then laughed the rest of her climb to the ground. She felt a lot better which made it easier to ignore that small bit of her that felt a pang of hurt.

"Well. Aren't you quick to judge, Malfoy,"
Ouch. Callum tried to hide the sudden realization about she just had a point there, as he didn't want to show himself up. Anyways, this was not about judging but about wanting only the best for Anya. Or what else was it about?
Despite the feeling that he still was in the right, so to say, Callum felt the urge to apologize, but then the moment to do so passed with her climbing down the roof. This really had become an unusual conversation.
When a handful of snow was hitting his back, he looked up again, or rather down towards his attacker. Callum's features grew once again into an amused grin. Her laughter made him easily forget about the odd situation that had clasped them only moments ago. "You can lull yourself into a false sense of security until I decide to strike back.", Callum said with a playful expression on his face, as he stood up as well and climbed down himself.
Once he was standing back on the ground right next to her, he leaned in closer in her direction and added: "Now fear every day to be the day."

"You can lull yourself into a false sense of security until I decide to strike back."
His threat only sent her into another bought of laughter. She stood innocently, hands behind back, on ground level waiting for him to catch up to her.
"Now fear every day to be the day."
Anya ignored the flutter of butterflies when he leaned closer, chocking it up to adrenaline over the fact she'd have to start watching her back around him now when snow was around. She leaned closer herself, unbeknownst to him so that she'd have better reach, and in mock fear whispered, "I'm so scared," then smooshed the handful of snow she'd been hiding behind her back right onto his head. Grinning victoriously, Anya took off to the nearest pillar, using it as a shield. "Why wait? The war has already begun!" she proclaimed. Anya crouched down and had to lean passed her shield to try to gather more snow.

"I'm so scared,"
When Anya leaned closer as well, there was some kind of really odd moment in which Callum was focused on her lips in a way he had never been before. It wasn't even a complete moment, but rather the tiny split of a second. Also, the whispered tone in her voice was sending some kind of adrenaline through his veins all of a sudden.
It was something hitting his head that brought him back to sanity in no time though; something to cool him down literally.
"Why wait? The war has already begun!"
Callum didn't allow the surprise to get shown on his face and instead prepared himself for take-off as well.
"You think this was a good idea?", he uttered chuckingly while disappearing behind another pillar and started to inconspicuously gather material for a huge ball of snow himself. "You should have listened when everybody told to not mess with a Malfoy." From time to time Callum used to joke about the Malfoy prejudgment, in the sarcastic way of course.

The tournament was near. With the events approaching in the near distance, Draco couldn't help but to reminisce what it was like to experience the event that sent the school up in a whirlwind - as a bystander, of course. Draco had been too young to participate, and even then if he were of age the danger of the events would have kept him a bystander. To be the ultimate champion with fame and a multitude of riches would have been any young man's dream, however the price to pay was hefty and Draco also remembered the demise of Diggory in the last task and how it gravely impacted the whole student body. Such a terrible tragedy...if Draco's boy, Callum, had made the decision today to place his name into the Goblet and be picked Draco would no doubt be the proudest father. But more than anything did Draco want for his son was safety and security. My boy, if only you knew... Draco hadn't spoken much with Callum since their latest fight, and Draco felt that was on him.
Draco walked past the entrance to the courtyard, stopping in his tracks at the familiar laugh that he did not get to hear too often. He slowly back tracked his steps to see Callum and the still mysterious Anya together. His son looked incredibly happy in this moment, and this made Draco's heart sing. Grinning, Draco watched for a few moments as Callum and Anya playfully had a war in the snow as their giggles and banter filled the quiet courtyard. Draco wanted to see this side of Callum more often, and he knew it all started with making amends and fixing what was broken.
"Well now, isn't this a grand sight!" Draco gleefully made his presence in the courtyard known. His feet crunching with every step in the snow he took towards them, he smiled at the two kids who had brought themselves to a halt as they were unaware of how to react. Draco placed a soft gaze on his son Callum, figuring that he was the last person that his son wanted to see right now. "Hello, son."

Anya couldn't remember the last time she'd had this much fun or had felt such simple joy. They were acting like children, chucking snow at each other and exchanging amusing banter. In this moment, Anya felt carefree. It was as if they were the only two people in the world and nothing outside of this moment existed. No past. No future. Only now. Just she, Callum, and the snow.
Just as she'd crouched down amidst her giggling to gather another handful of snow, a voice broke through and shattered the illusion.
"Well now, isn't this a grand sight!"
Anya's giggle faded off. She released the snow as she stood and turned to face the familiar voice. Caught completely off guard, her expression was a mixture of surprise, worry, a touch of guilt for having not only been acting in such a juvenile way but having involved his son in it as well. Adults tended to always be telling people their age to start acting like adults and this was far from mature behavior. However, Mr. Malfoy didn't seem angry. Rather, his smile seemed genuine. Anya relaxed and managed to return a polite smile, careful not to be overly friendly. She was only a bystander and did not wish for either to assume she took any sides.
"Hello, son."
She also did not wish to be stuck in the middle. No longer in active motion, the cold started to seep into her snow dampened clothes which gave her a perfect excuse. "I should get back inside," she said while rubbing her arms to ward off the cold. Anya discreetly gave Callum's hand a supportive squeeze as she walked by him to get her things.
Wanting to hurry, she draped her robes over her arm rather than donning it now and then went to grab her journal... only it wasn't there. She glanced over the archway ledge, thinking it must have fallen when she'd grabbed her robes but there was nothing but small patches of snow on the stone pathway. Anya was grateful her back was to the Malfoys so that the look of panic that came over her features couldn't catch their attention. Nobody else had been out here, had they? She tried easing her panic by convincing herself she must have dropped it. Anya casually headed for the castle, her eyes scanning the path for a wayward journal that held her private thoughts and research of her scars.

Callum had no excuse for how they behaved, actually felt glad there was no need for excuses anyway. Not with her. He could be just him. Just Callum, without the Malfoy addendum. But as quick as this scene had made him forget everything else around, as quick did the lifting of one's voice destroy it at once. It was almost worth respecting how someone was able to turn a delightful innocent moment into something vitriolic within only the split of a second.
"Well now, isn't this a grand sight!"
As if in a time delay, the snow slid off his hand, while the crunching, caused by his father's steps on the snow-covered ground, drowned the sudden silence. Callum didn't even notice Anya's polite smile right next to him, as he was too busy with looking as impolite as possible.
"Hello, son."
"I should get back inside,"
It was her though who took to her heels in first place. Who could blame her anyway? Callum felt the supportive squeeze before she left, but didn't dare to turn his gaze away from the Malfoy in front of him.
"What do you want?", he asked in a harsh tone once Anya was out of their earshot. Callum took the view that his father only reached out to him when there was something they needed to talk about. Usually, something that made him act rather sarcastic than hostile, but this time he had a feeling it could include his newest and actually only friend. And for some reason that was driving him really mad.

The pattering footsteps of Anya's exit echoed through the snow engulfed courtyard, leaving the father with his son. It was no secret that there was an elephant in the room, but Draco was happy that he even had Callum's attention. Even if it was just for a brief moment. "She seems like a lovely girl, are you two just friends or-"
"What do you want?"
Draco peddled the brakes for a moment. Callum's words stung like salt in a wound, for Draco knew they were true. "Can I not simply take the time to ask my son how he is doing? Without him assuming I always want something from him?" There was no dancing around what kind of man Draco was by nature, not even to make an attempt to have a nice moment with his son for once. All they did was fight, and Draco knew it was because of his own doing. He lacked in being the father that Callum needed, and he couldn't mask that no matter how hard he tried.

"Can I not simply take the time to ask my son how he is doing? Without him assuming I always want something from him?"
"Yes to the first, no to the latter.", Callum responded in a shot-like manner. "Unless you're Mr. Nice Guy on Polyjuice. But then I'd wonder why you would walk up to the Malfoy boy just to ask how he is doing. So - what do you want?", he finished with a repetition of his former question, as he crossed his arms, silently waiting for his father to come to the point of this.
Callum knew perfectly well that he was not the perfect son, but just as well did he knew that Draco was not the perfect father. Why would he want to change that all of a sudden? The Tournament maybe? Oh, he would waste his time on trying to argue him into throwing his name into that stupid game.

"Yes to the first, no to the latter.""Unless you're Mr. Nice Guy on Polyjuice. But then I'd wonder why you would walk up to the Malfoy boy just to ask how he is doing. So - what do you want?"
Draco knew that his son knew him better than anyone to see through the act, for nothing came with no strings attached when it came down to Draco Malfoy. Even with his own blood. Realizing that now was no time or place for any sort of rekindling, Draco boiled his visit down to the point.
"That girl you were with, Anya, do you care about her?" Draco asked Callum, not leaving much room for an answer before leaning in closer to his son as his head turned left and then right to make sure that they were alone, "Between you and me, I think something is about to happen to her. The headmaster is hiding something, and I'm going to find out what it is exactly. But I think this girl might be in danger." Draco disclosed in a hushed tone before peering over his shoulder for a moment at the sound of the howling wind before returning back to Callum.
"Keep her close. And if you hear absolutely anything...let me know." Draco shed with concern before taking a step backward, grinning once more, "You look good, son. I am glad to see you here today." And at that, Draco slipped his hands into the pockets of his dark trench coat and made his exit from the courtyard as he got the memo that his presence was not wanted.

"That girl you were with, Anya, do you care about her?"So, that's how the wind blew... Callum didn't completely get it yet, but if this was about telling him with who he shall spend his time with and with who not, this won't work out. Besides, hadn't it been him who told him to show her around back at her very first day here in Hogwarts? Not that anything his father ever told him would have worked out anyway. So why was he still trying, Callum wondered with inner annoyance. As he wasn't too keen to give an answer to that question, he was glad that his father went on speaking for once. With a wary eye, Callum watched that one's unusual behavior of peering over his shoulder like someone could observe them. Now, was he completely losing it, or what? His father's next words had him actually keen-eared for once. "Between you and me, I think something is about to happen to her. The headmaster is hiding something, and I'm going to find out what it is exactly. But I think this girl might be in danger." Of course, there was still a chance this was just another try to get the wayward son on his side, but something in his voice was different this time. As if there was something true within these words. But then that would mean...
"Keep her close. And if you hear absolutely anything...let me know."Callum was usually used to do just the opposite from what his father told him, but in this case, that would mean to neglect his best friend, and that was no option. But he truly wondered what was in it for his father? Could this really be an honest warning as something wasn't quite right with their headmaster's special relation to Anya? This was confusing him so much so that he yet again missed a chance to say anything in return. Instead, did he suddenly find himself staring into a grinning image of his father. Something maybe even more disturbing than what he just had told him. "You look good, son. I am glad to see you here today."And disturbing it went on. Callum was just glad that his father didn't give him a hug as the cherry on the cake, although he was still sure this sudden friendliness was part of some kind of plan. And so he said nothing at all and instead watched his father leaving the courtyard. Callum stood there alone for some more minutes, every word of his father's quiet warning memorized into his mind, while he slipped his hands into the pockets of his jacket; an unknowingly but resembling posture from actually his own dad. "That's ridiculous.", Callum eventually whispered with a shake of his head before walking inside as well. Those words though didn't stop to repetitive in his head over and over again. If he should tell Anya about this? Nah, this was nonsense. He didn't want to unsettle her just because of something his father had said. Especially not after he had seen her face beaming all with joy when they had that little snowball fight only just. He suddenly wondered if he had ever seen her so happy or maybe just never had a really close look at her. Ah, ridiculous. ***Callum exits***

Cami sat down on a vacant bench in the courtyard, reflecting over every word she had written in the letter to her parents. How excited she was not only to be at one of the world's greatest wizarding schools but to be chosen as a contender for the triwizard tournament. The owl she had sent the letter off with at the Owlry would arrive to her parents in her home country soon enough. Cami could only hope that they would be overjoyed that their daughter was about to contribute to history, and she would do her family as well as the whole farm justice. She longed to make them proud.

Coco sat a little secluded and with an expression on her face that usually appeared there only on one day of the year. Today wasn't that day, although kind of the same feelings had come to descend on her this morning, probably induced by everyone around being excited and antsy about telling their parents they've got chosen as a participant of the Triwizard Tournament. It was not only that Coco rather would prefer to not have gotten chosen but also that there was no one she could share her non-excitement with.
Her eyes melancholically wandered over the landscape around, as she suddenly realized that she wasn't alone. Some meters ahead her best friend Cami was sitting on a bench, with the same excited expression on her face that was annoying the hell out of Coco. On Cami's face though it didn't. Instead, there even appeared a sudden smile on her lips.
Eventually, Coco decided to walk out of the dark cloud that had covered her up and instead to walk towards her friend.
"Hey.", she greeted her with a casual wave of her hand, maybe not have come off as casual as intended though.

"Hey."
Cami's head drifted in the direction that the familiar voice was acknowledging her from and smiled as her best friend, Coco, approached where she sat.
"Bonjour, mon ami," Cami's voice chimed, sighing with absolute contentment as her best friend was now here in her company. Yet, through Coco's friendly wave Cami could see that her friend was still rather troubled by this whole tournament. Cami had accepted the fact that Coco wasn't as thrilled to be apart of it as she was, just as she had accepted throughout the years that they didn't always agree or like the same things. They were polar opposites, which made them the greatest of friends. At the end of the day, Cami didn't want Coco to go into this experience completely miserable.
"So," The girls shared a few moments of silence between them before Cami spoke gently, "How are you doing? Like, really doing?" Cami glanced at Coco from the side as she shed a warming smile.

"So,", Cami eventually broke the silence between them. A silence that might have felt awkward with anyone else, but not with these two friends. Coco had never been talking a lot about feelings and stuff, like her real feelings, but at times it was like her best friend would be able to just sense them somewhere between her sarcasm and dry humor. A fact that wasn't even bothering Coco, although it didn't change her bias against talking about them. "How are you doing? Like, really doing?"
But for some reason Cami's gently spoken question along with the whole situation that was overtaxing her in general, Coco exhaled a quiet sigh and opened up to her for once - to anyone at that.
"I know everyone is so excited about this, you included, but as you know...", she started, letting her eyes wander around like she had done before. "I'm quite not like everyone. I ain't an Amazon heroically swinging a sword or kinda like that nor do I dream to be. But actually... what is bothering me the most is..." Suddenly Coco's head turned to her side again to meet with Cami's expectant look. "Could you please look somewhere else for a moment?", she asked half annoyed and half-jokingly before she was going on anyway.
"Well, it's the fact that I most certainly will screw things up for you. I know how important this is for you." And I don't want to be the one who dashes your dreams because you are the best and maybe only friend I have., she added in thoughts only as this would have overdone things. But even if she didn't say it out loud, Coco was sure that Cami would know anyway.

"Well, it's the fact that I most certainly will screw things up for you. I know how important this is for you."
Cami smiled halfheartedly as she nodded her head, "You are right about one thing. Zis is very important to me, and us winning ze tournament could give my family a better life. It could change a lot of things for both of us. However, " Cami turned her gaze back onto Coco after being playfully scolded to take her intense gaze elsewhere in the courtyard, "Ze funny thing about opportunity is that it comes and goes. But a friend like you only comes along once in a lifetime." Cami spoke with adoration as she placed her hands onto Coco's, "So if we win, we're lucky. And if we lose, life goes on. We will try our very best, and that's the best we can do. And perhaps these tournaments aren't all about what we have physically, but also how we are gifted mentally," Cami assured her friend as she lifted one of her hands to make a light tapping motion to the top of her head, "You've always been better than me in zat department. But no matter what happens, Coco, you'll always have me." No matter what each of them had been through, they always found themselves together and stronger than ever. And Cami knew that this experience was just that. An experience. She loved Coco and wasn't about to let anything mess up this connection that they were so lucky to be one in a million to share.

That morning she sent an owl to her parents and another to her brother. All of them were very against her putting her name in the cup. They strongly advised against it, worried that something bad would happen to her. Her mother had every reason to be concerned, she was in the great battle. The stand against the dark lord and barely made it out alive. "Adriana, listen to me- nothing good comes from the Triwizard Tournament." And she went on and on about how Cedric died and it was a loss and how it affected everyone that knew him.
Her parents would be scared but Dray had no intentions of dying. The letter she wrote went as followed...
Mom & Dad,
I just wanted you to know I put my name in the cup and it picked me. I know you're going to be upset and worried but no backing out. I'm ready for this fight and I'm going to prove to you I can do this. I hope you have faith in me and I hope you'll come to cheer me on.
Love, Dray.
Dray had so much on her mind, she really needed this day out. She was excited to spend the day with her friends and her girl. Sometimes it still felt so weird saying it but Ellie was her girl and it filled her with joy. She was writing her a song but it was far from ready, one day she hoped to share it with her.
