Lol!! The writers did like to put our emotions and feelings of a character on a tollercoadter. I do have to say though, For the most part, Locke is an amazing character and man do you end up feeling for him!! That's all I'll say. His his centric ep, Walkabout, which is one of our eps featured for next week is definitely in my top 20 faves, if not top 10.

If he's going to go crazy, I'll like him even more lol! Y'know I'm kinda strange, as I like evil and crazy characters A normal boring character gets paranoia or something... raising up on my like-list xD

We learned in 1x04 Walkabout that his reason for flight was returning from being turned down on going on the Australian walkabout.

Poor guy, that was really a shitty situation... Can't blame the instructor but still... it seemed like a life's quest for Locke and then it was snatched away in two seconds. on the plus side, he really needed it and I guess he got it when he boarded that plane!

Yah, he's been in a wheelchair for four years. He wasn't able to walk but there seems to have been some feeling as he had an electromedical nerve stimulation machine on his nightstand as he was talking to Helen. But remember how he told Walt a miracle happened to him? That's what he was talking about. They crashed on that island and suddenly, as he was laying there, he looked down in amazement as he moved his toes.

It makes sense as it all adds up. For some reason I just didn't get the impression his problem was that serious until the very end of walkabout

That was the best of the ending! That you realized it even at that moment, was the same for me
