This one gets 4 stars from me, even though there had been episodes with 4 bigger stars before. I really like Claire and was glad to learn more about her past though. Speaking of her past: Omg, I feel so terribly sorry for her! What a horrible awake it must be, realizing to have ended in a car crash and your mother laying with blood on the ground, not knowing if she's alive or not... I really had goosebumps only of that imagination... Also had to shed a tear at her speech to her mom later in the hospital. I so wished she would wake up all of a sudden, but knew she wouldn't, as Claire before said "My mother was..." and Sun asked "was?". I like Claire's style in those flashbacks btw! Looking pretty much like a rebel teenager. Jack's father! In Claire's flashback! Whoaaaa Jack and Claire are half siblings!! I felt so sorry for Charlie, when he just wanted to have a date with Claire, and again Desmond was there to "destroy" it. Nah I know he wants to help Charlie, but from his view it must look like this. At least annoying. ^^ Geez, I found it very creepy, when Locke suddenly threw Mikhail into the alarm area and what happened with him then! I don't know, somehow I didn't await the alarm to be active. Whoaaa the end! So Kate, Sayid and Locke lastly arrived at The Others' camp, but to see Jack became something like a part of them. Well, that was at least how it looked like. I'm not sure about it actually. Or maybe Jack decided to play along, as he was a captive anyway?

4 stars from me also! I agree, there have been stronger episodes I've given 4 stars to but doesn't mean this one wasn't great! I also feel bad for Claire. All that time, she blamed herself and had that guilt of the last horrible things she said to her mother before the crash. Sounds like it was an ugly fight that had distracted them. Lol, Claire's style, as you called it. She was an emo Goth girl. XD It was so funny to see her like that because it's so different from the sweet Claire we've known so far. Yup! Jack and Claire are half-siblings and they have no idea! Remember when Ana Lucia took Christian to that house and he was shouting back and forth with some woman? That was Claire's aunt. Now we know what they were talking about. He'd mention something about 'every right to see her' and I think people were already guessing it had to be Claire they were talking about so people were already guessing the half-siblings thing. So crazy, the connections! Remember in Claire's first flashback in season 1, she asked the adopting couple to sing "Catch a Falling Star" to her baby cuz she mentioned her dad sang that song to her. Claire obviously kinda remembers a father figure since she said that and she thinks her dad died when she was two. I think at that age, you might remember something like that but not the person, which would explain remember the situation and the song, but not the face of the person. It could also be that her mom continued that and also mentioned to her all the time that her father used to sing it to her. Well, Christian said to Claire that he used to visit her all the time when she was little and he used to sing to her. Aww, such a great tie-in to something so early in the show! I agree. Felt bad for Charlie. He started the morning so great, then Desmond, who I can tell looks like he feels bad for having to intrude, steps in to pull him away. I'm glad that Claire finally knows and that she believed Desmond. It's a crazy thing to ask someone to believe, but I think they've noticed the strange way Desmond's been acting and also, it's not the first time he's done something that stopped harm from coming to them. Definitely helped that he went straight for the bird. Geez, I found it very creepy, when Locke suddenly threw Mikhail into the alarm area and what happened with him then! I don't know, somehow I didn't await the alarm to be active. Yes! That was crazy. Locke was obviously tired of Mikhail's bull crap. In Locke's defense, I don't think Mikhail was trustworthy at all. In fact, he was very smart and manipulative. If anything, I think he would have been a hindrance. Look how he shot Bea, his own friggin' ally! But did you notice that when Kate turned him over and was looking him over, you can see that he's still breathing. We didn't know if that was because he was still alive or an accidental thing during filming. I mean, the actor himself is alive and does need to breathe. Whoaaa the end! So Kate, Sayid and Locke lastly arrived at The Others' camp, but to see Jack became something like a part of them. Well, that was at least how it looked like. I'm not sure about it actually. Or maybe Jack decided to play along, as he was a captive anyway? Dude, I can totally understand their expressions! We're here to help rescue Jack, but wait, he's throwin' around the ol' football with Tom! WTF? My guess is that he's trying to make the best of his situation. Back on "Alcatraz" he'd promised to cooperate if the Others let Kate and Sawyer go and let him and Juliet leave the island. Well, they let Kate and Sawyer go and Jack is a man of his word and is probably assuming Ben will make good on his promise to let him and Juliet leave. Why should he sulk in some room? If this is going to be his life now until the promise is fulfilled, then he should live it and besides, I think acting like everything's great is the best way to get the Others to let down their guard and trust that he's not gonna try anything. Lol, I'm surprised you didn't mention Sawyer's little scene where he almost called Claire Barbie but stopped himself because of the no nicknames for a week thing. XD Favorite scenes/quotesCHARLIE: I woke up this morning and I thought it's time to stop feeling sorry for yourself and seize the day, and I can't think of anyone I'd rather do some day-seizing with than you. SAYID: What do you suggest, we shoot him like a dog? LOCKE: No, I like dogs.
