Marvel Cinematic Universe - Online Viewing Party!
A group viewing and discussion for repeat and first time viewers, hosted by the MFC Forum! Each movie will have an official discussion thread and participants are welcome to create any other discussion threads for topics, events, or characters that they'd like to discuss in more detail or for anything else related to the MCU (quizzes, polls, memes, etc.).
This thread is for expressing your interest, sharing your enthusiasm, and letting us know about your experience with the MCU! No spoilers as there may be first-time viewers looking at this thread. If you'd like to contribute your thoughts and suggestions for the process of this event, you can PM me or reply to this thread.
Below is the list of films in the MCU in order of release date. Everyone is welcome to go at whatever pace they'd like and join in at any point. Discussion threads will always remain open so don't be shy about posting in a thread that may not have had a post for a long time.

*The Incredible Hulk is optional viewing as even the MCU kind of pushed it aside and mentioned any important info from it in follow-up movies.
**I put Eternals first since it starts B.C. and runs all the way through to Endgame, but if you've never seen the MCU up to Endgame before, you might want to switch your Eternals watch to after Shang-Chi.
***These films wholly or mostly take place in an alternate universe, not the MCU. However, in some way, they have or eventually will have a connection to the MCU. You can skip the Venom films and just watch the stinger from Venom: Let There Be Carnage. However, watching the Tobey Macguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man films will give you a better emotional connection to events later in the MCU.
****These are shows or specials that take place in the MCU and are either referenced in the films or have a character later appearing in the films. Basically, they have an effect on the storylines of the movies. Shows such as most of the Netflix and basic cable are left off because though they may enhance the MCU storyline, they do not have an effect on the films. Full list of all MCU films and shows in release order can be found here: mfcsrpg.proboards.com/thread/3742/marvel-universe-order-movies-shows
*****If you've never seen Avengers: Infinity War, you might want to watch it before Ant-Man and the Wasp but it's not necessary. Only Ant-Man and the Wasp's stinger takes place after Infinity War and you'll understand its meaning after seeing Infinity War.
(AU) = Alternate Universe.
There is also Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but to add that into the list would take a long, long time! Plus, the show has things such as time hopping and a little foray into alternate universe, etc. The show sometimes references things that happened in the movies, but the movies don't reference toward events in the show. It is a great show so if you'd like to include it in your MCU watch, I'd recommend simply watching by air date and fit them in between the release dates of the movies as best as you can. See the link a couple paragraphs up for release date of the episodes between the movies.
