4 stars! And yet again tending to give 5. Just a funny fact beforehand: In Germany, this episode is called 'Back To The Future' from Hurley's quote. I really enjoyed that conversation btw! XD I really like how some of them see the kid dying and not Benjamin Linus, and how they're doing anything to save the boy. A shame that, in the end, it's just that that let him end up with the Others hehe. It was great to see Kate and Sawyer working together! I don't think there are still real feelings between them, but the regret that their feelings never had led to a relationship. But as Sawyer said, it wouldn't have worked out. Not as the persons they had been three years ago. Hm okay, was actually going to write some more thoughts, but the rage about my lost internet connection today (which is back by now, thank goodness!) took a lot of my time... Anyways, looking forward to the next episode! Ah yes, the ending was great!!!! The look on Ben's face when he saw Locke! Just perfect!

4 stars from me as well!
I totally got teary-eyed during Kate's goodbye to Aaron scene. The music on Lost is just amazing. Heartfelt though the moment was, its the added music that really gets into my feels.
Such an interesting argument is posed in this episode. Do you, or do you not save the life of a child when you know that child grows up to be a bad, bad person? Watching how things unfold with Kate and Sawyer ending up taking him to the Others, it makes we wonder if Ben would have completely become the person we know him as if they wouldn't have gone there.
It's the age old chicken or the egg question. We already saw that Ben wanted to join the Others before Kate and Sawyer interfered. But that doesn't necessarily mean he would have ended up going through whatever it is Richard is putting him through to save his life. Is that was really makes him become the person he becomes? Or did his childhood abuse by his father already make him the man he becomes?
I also really loved Hurley and Miles' time traveling discussions. So hilarious!
Man, Jack has become so different. But a lot of the reason for that was due to things Ben had done. I kind of can't blame him for not wanting to help Ben. But still, season 1 Jack would never have questioned saving a life, no matter who it was at risk.
So weird to watch Ben's dad getting all friendly with Kate.
Favorite quotes/moments:
JACK: You're telling us we're under house arrest? MILES: No, you're all free to leave whenever you want...but I'll shoot you in the leg.
