Disney's new streaming service to feature Loki and Scarlet Witch shows Anthony Breznican
September 18, 2018 at 10:12 PM EDT
Disney’s new streaming video service needs some heroes, but it’s turning to some former Marvel villains who have been drawn to the light.
Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch could each get their own limited series on the platform, which is expected to launch in late 2019, sources confirm to EW.
That would brings significant Marvel firepower to the Disney service, which will also feature a Star Wars series run by Iron Man and The Jungle Book filmmaker Jon Favreau.
Disney will need powerhouses like that to draw new viewers, especially in a marketplace already crowded by Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and other streaming services.
Original programing that harks back to beloved franchises or characters has proven to be key to luring subscribers.
CBS All Access turned to Star Trek to attract viewers — beginning with the current Discovery and a planned Jean-Luc Picard series with Patrick Stewart returning to his Next Generation role. The DC Universe app, meanwhile, is launching with a gritty new take on Titans.
No writers or directors have yet been attached to the Loki or Scarlet Witch shows, but Variety’s Justin Kroll, who broke the news, reports that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, the driving force between the interlocked Marvel Cinematic Universe, would have a hand in developing the programs.
ABC already has Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which spun off Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson from the films. (Gregg returns to the big screen with a 1990s version of his character in next year’s Captain Marvel.) And Netflix licensed Marvel characters for its Defenders universe, with Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and The Punisher.
While those shows have included a few scattered nods to the MCU, there has been relatively little crossover. Viewers could expect much more interconnection with Hiddleston and Olsen returning as their fan-favorite characters, who each started out on the side of evil, only to be tempted toward decency and goodness as their stories unfolded.
It’s unclear when the shows might be set in each character’s timeline, but the smart guess is the shows would be prequels of sorts (if only because — SPOILER WARNING — we saw both their lives end in Avengers: Infinity War).
Of course, things could always change when next spring’s untitled Infinity War sequel hits.
At least, they better. In any case, both will get a new life when the Disney streaming service launches.

We just finished the first two eps a bit ago! Loved it and can't wait for more! Here's a great article of easter eggs on the first two eps. Pasted below but full article with some pics here time.com/5928101/wandavision-easter-eggs-premiere/This may be spoilery light as what happens in the comics sometimes ends up happening in MCU movies and shows. All the Marvel Clues You Missed in WandaVision's First Two EpisodesBY ELIANA DOCKTERMAN JANUARY 15, 2021 6:52 PM EST At first glance, WandaVision is a playful satire of family sitcoms of yesteryear. Wanda (a.k.a. Scarlet Witch) and Vision play house as a happily married couple dealing with mundane problems like disastrous dinner parties and pregnancy plots, all performed in front of a live studio audience. But there’s a twist: their happily ever after is almost certainly a delusion of Wanda’s, especially given that we know Vision died in Avengers: Infinity War. Wanda, who has mind-control powers, seems to have retreated into a fantasy where she and Vision can live “normal” lives in the most American setting possible: A sitcom. Each episode, set in a different decade, riffs on a beloved show like I Love Lucy or Bewitched. Don’t be fooled: this is also a show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And unlikes Jessica Jones or Daredevil, it ties directly into the Marvel movies’ central plot. After all, both Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) have made pivotal appearances in multiple Marvel films. So if you haven’t kept up with the movies, you may get confused. In fact, WandaVision will serve as a launching pad for Marvel’s highly anticipated “Phase 4,” which has been on hold since Disney delayed the releases of Black Widow and The Eternals because of the pandemic. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has said that WandaVision will set up the plots of upcoming Marvel movies like Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: Homecoming 3. At its heart, WandaVision is actually a mystery series deeply rooted in Marvel lore. Why has Wanda created this world? Is someone making her do it? Why do references to HYDRA and keep popping up? What familiar Marvel character is that calling out to Wanda over the radio? The show is chock-full of easter eggs that hint at what is going on with Wanda and what the ramifications might be on the rest of the remaining Avengers. Here are all the clues, hints and references that you may have missed. Episode 1: Agnes as a possible Marvel villainKathryn Hahn is having a ball playing a nosy neighbor named Agnes in the early episode of WandaVision. But she may be prying for a reason. In the comics, Wanda has a neighbor named Agatha Harkness. Some Redditors have pointed out that if you squish the names Agatha and Harkness together, you get “Agnes,”—which, at first glance, seems like a stretch. But other sharp-eyed fans have pointed out that Agnes is always wearing a brooch on WandaVision, just like Agatha in the Scarlet Witch comics. In the comics, Agnes is a witch who trains Wanda. She also helps Wanda get pregnant by her husband Vision, which would be anatomically difficult because he’s an android. That happens, without Agnes’ help, at the end of the second episode of WandaVision—though, again, nobody ever explains whether Vision can have children considering he’s, well, a machine. I suppose that’s not appropriate for a family show. Bad news for Agnes: Wanda and Agatha’s relationship in the comics does not end happily. Watch out Kathryn Hahn! Episode 1: The Stark Industries toasterEach episode of WandaVision is broken up by a fake commercial that contains a Marvel easter egg. In the first episode, a man and a woman advertise a toaster made by Stark Industries (owned and run, of course, by Tony Stark’s family). While the toaster is making toast, it emits a beeping noise and a red light flashes. It’s surprisingly menacing for an appliance commercial. It’s possible that the commercial is supposed to suggest that Wanda has ambivalent feelings toward Stark. Over the time they have known each other, Stark hasn’t exactly been a great friend. Stark attacked Wanda and her brother, built a genocidal AI program called Ultron that almost destroyed the world and put Wanda under house arrest because he insisted she could not control her powers. On the other hand, Stark also created her boyfriend, Vision. Could Vision somehow be the toaster? Maybe this particular metaphor will become more clear later on. Episode 1: “House of M” wine bottleDuring their disastrous dinner party, Wanda and Vision serve a French bottle of wine called “Maison du Mépris,” which translates to “House of Contempt.” More loosely—okay very loosely—the bottle can translated to mean “House of Misery.” Regardless of the actual translation, the bottle has a large “M” on the label. So, a connection to the “House of M” comic storyline is likely. In “House of M,” Wanda is reeling from accidentally killing some of her fellow Avengers including Vision. She deludes herself into thinking she has twin boys with Vision. When Magneto (from the X-Men) tells her the babies aren’t real, she essentially uses her mind-control powers on the entire world to trick them into believing they live in an alternate universe where her babies exist (and lots of other parts of reality have been altered as well). WandaVision appears to be at least loosely based on this comic. As in House of M, the MCU Wanda technically killed Vision, though it was to prevent bad guy Thanos from getting a powerful gem called he Mind Stone in Vision’s head. She’s in mourning and perhaps using her powers to soothe herself. The wine bottle may hint that it is, indeed, Wanda controlling this universe, and that the creation of her dreamland may have real-world consequences. Episode 2: A helicopter with a SWORD symbolThe colorful helicopter popping up in Wanda’s black-and-white world is the first major indication that someone from the outside is trying to break into Wanda’s fantasy. But to understand the significance of the helicopter, you have to know about SHIELD and SWORD. In the MCU, SHIELD was an anti-terrorist organization that created the Avengers Initiative, brought all the Avengers together and (usually) gave them their orders. It was run by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) until a Nazi splinter group called HYDRA infiltrated their ranks, and SHIELD had to be disbanded. Since then, Fury has been working on a new governmental body designed specifically to respond to supernatural threats and treats from space. (We see him hanging out on a spaceship doing just that in Spider-Man: Far From Home.) Based on what we know from the comics, this new initiative will most likely be called SWORD. It’s also logical that the agents of SWORD might use, well, a sword as their symbol. When Wanda picks up the helicopter to examine it, she spots a picture of a sword on its side. It’s likely that an actual SWORD helicopter tried to enter Wanda’s world and was somehow turned into a toy. Episode 2: Monica Rambeau is in Wanda’s delusionWanda meets a new friend during the second episode. The woman, played by Teyonah Parris, introduces herself as Geraldine. However we know from IMDb that Parris is actually playing a character named Monica Rambeau. Viewers who caught Captain Marvel have actually met Monica Rambeau before. She’s the daughter of Captain Marvel’s BFF Maria Rambeau, and the adorable little girl in that movie. Captain Marvel, as you’ll recall from hints like Captain Marvel’s Nine Inch Nails shirt, was set in the 1990s. WandaVision is set in present-ish day, after the events of Avengers: Endgame. It looks like Monica is now all grown up. It’s likely that Monica is an agent of SWORD or some other do-gooder trying to help Wanda. After all, her godmother is Captain Marvel. It would be very weird if Monica grew up and decided to turn all evil. When Monica and Wanda first meet, Monica admits, “I don’t know what I’m doing here.” It’s possible she was either sucked into Wanda’s fantasy or was sent on a mission but doesn’t know how to negotiate Wanda’s predicament. We know from the trailer she will return again in later episodes. Episode 2: “The devil is in the details”One of Agnes’ tossed off lines may have a deeper meaning. During the Mad Men-esque meeting of the housewives to prepare for the talent show in Episode 2, the Queen Bee of the group quips, “the devil is in the details.” Agnes retorts, “That’s not the only place he is.” It may be a joke, but many Marvel fans have theorized that the Marvel version of the Devil, Mephisto, will show up in WandaVision. Without spoiling too much, Mephisto is a major villain for Wanda in the early Marvel comics and even uses his magic to enhance her delusions. Agatha Harkness plays a role in the conflict between Wanda and Mephisto too. If Mephisto doesn’t actually show in WandaVision, it’s likely at least that this line is dropped as a nod to Marvel diehards. Episode 2: Jimmy Woo on the radioWhile Wanda is cleaning up after the talent show meeting, she hears the song “Help Me Rhonda,” which sounds an awful lot like “Help Me Wanda,” come on the radio. A static-y voice interrupts the song calling out to Wanda: “Who is doing this to you?” Keen-eared fans will recognize the voice of Randall Park, who plays Agent Jimmy Woo in Ant-Man and the Wasp. In that film, he was responsible for making sure Ant-Man didn’t violate his parole. It seems now that Jimmy is moving on up in the world—it’s likely that he’s an Agent of SWORD or some other organization trying to reach Wanda. Episode 2: A commercial for a HYDRA watchThe same man and woman from the first commercial reappear in a second one, this time advertising a watch called a Strucker with the HYDRA octopus symbol on it. It ticks, well, menacingly. (There’s a lot of menace in these commercials.) Recall that Wolfgang von Strucker was the name of the HYDRA leader who experimented on Wanda and her twin brother Pietro, torturing them with the Mind Stone—yes that same Mind Stone that’s later put into Vision’s head—until they gained superpowers. Ultron killed Wolfgang, so it’s unlikely that he is the one forcing Wanda into this dreamland or hurting her directly in any way. But it’s possible that HYDRA is hurting Wanda in some way, perhaps trapping her inside her own mind. (Hence Jimmy Woo asking, “Who is doing this to you?”) Alternatively, the commercials could represent how Wanda is haunted by her past. She’s trying to repress memories of being held captive by HYDRA. The trailer has shown flashback scenes to when Wanda received her powers. The clicking tock could either signal that Wanda has a limited amount of time to live in this fantasy or that HYDRA is coming for her. Episode 2: The beekeeper with a SWORD symbolA sword symbol keeps invading Wanda’s reality. First the helicopter. Now a man in a beekeeper costumer at the end of the episode. Let’s go ahead and assume that, like the helicopter, the man did not look like this when he entered Wanda’s reality. Maybe he was wearing a Hazmat suit and her mind changed it to a beekeeper outfit to better fit the suburban milieu. The man climbs out of a manhole, as if sneaking into her dream. It’s unclear if Wanda recognizes the symbol specifically or is just scared by this weird breech into her subconscious. But she simply responds to his presence with a “no” and somehow rewinds time. Notably, the man interrupted Wanda’s fantasy just as she had discovered she was suddenly and miraculously around four months pregnant and showing, despite having not been pregnant moments before. (I don’t know how an android and a witch make babies, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t it.) Wanda asks Vision, “Is this real?” when they’re interrupted by a bashing sound seemingly created by the beekeeper. After she rejects the beekeeper from her reality, she returns to that moment as if to make sure it plays out perfectly. She asks Vision (again), “Is this real?” And he replies that it is.

^ That was really helpful! I'm confused, of course, but intrigued. Love the hints we're getting about SWORD and the Strucker watch and Geraldine and the voice on the radio. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to recognize it or not. The guy that played Norman looked so familiar, I finally had to go to IMDb and look him up -- he played Pack on "Wrecked"! Also good to see Debra Jo Rupp from "That 70's Show" and Emma Caulfield from 'Buffy." The way Vision is acting in episode 2 reminds me of the first thing I ever saw Paul Bettany in, as Geoffrey Chaucer in "A Knight's Tale." So at least they're both getting to do comedy among all the menacing stuff. I feel at a disadvantage for not having read "House of M." And I know they've already used Hive as a villain on 'Agents of SHIELD" but something about the beekeeper and the honeycomb shape of the end credits makes me wonder....

EPISODE 3 EASTER EGGS!! I found a winner for our great source of easter eggs from here on out, and a visual one, which is even better! They pull images from comics and other movies and shows to reference! Here's their video for episodes 1 and 2 which has even more than that article!

^ Heh, I wondered if the bickering over naming the baby Billy or Tommy was a comics reference. Now I know! I thought the glitch was interesting, when Vision began to tell Wanda that something was wrong but then he "rewound" to say something different. Like when she said "No" to the beekeeper that came up from the sewer or kicking Geraldine out of the simulation, we're starting to see some of Wanda's darkness in not wanting to let this reality go. I know it seems like it's being imposed on her, but it could also be her coping mechanism to deal with Vision being really gone and not coming back. In totally superficial news, I loved the boots Elizabeth Olsen wore in this episode.

The glitch was definitely interesting! The one in ep 2 was very obvious. This one was smooth that it gave me that split second thought that I'd had some sort of buffering glitch that made it jump ahead. XD
I do wonder, also, if it's her doing this. Just because Agent Woo asked "Who's doing this to you?" via that radio in ep 2, doesn't mean someone actually is. Could be he and the others are assuming that. But most likely, I think it's not all her. I think she is being manipulated by someone or more likely, a non-human powerful being.
Based off the easter egg videos, I do wonder if it's Hahn's character!
I am left wondering about something else. If this is a world created by Wanda, then it's weird that there'd be any prominent scenes important to the breaking of reality that wouldn't feature her. It really stood out to me how Vision had those interaction outside with Agnes and Herb with Wanda nowhere around. Does that mean that Vision is actually there? Actually a conscious living individual stuck in this world Wanda created? Or is it all part of Wanda's experience, as in, even though she's not in that scene, she's "watching" it like she's one of the spectators of this TV show?

Don't read the following if you haven't watched episode 4 yet! I FREAKING LOVED THIS EPISODE AND THIS SHOW!!!! Since I've watched all this Easter Eggs with theories before, it was not totally surprising, but I really loved that they've shown us what happens in the real world now! It was also such a goosebump moment when it started with people coming back from their death in the opposite way of when they had disappeared. And Yeees, Darcy is back!! I really hope that she'll play a bigger role in this show since I so love Kat Dennings!

EPISODE 4 EASTER EGGS!!! SO GOOD! Darcy! Agent Woo! I loved seeing the perspective of what's going on in the outside world and getting to see what happened between Wanda telling Monica to leave and Monica just not being there. Omg, to see Viz in his dead form, chunk of his forehead missing where Thanos had dug out the Mind Stone. It's like they took his synthetic body and are reanimating it for this imaginary world. Very creepy, heartbreaking, and disturbing. Oh, I totally loved the beginning as well! Seeing people return after the Snappening, or Blip, as they seem to be calling it in the MCU. That's another perspective we didn't really get to explore much in the movies! Touched on it a little in Spider-Man: Far From Home but that was like short shaky phone cam capture. I like that we got to see how the people who were dusted reacted to finding out what had happened to them. Poor Monica and even more sad, her mom. Her mom was in hospital when her daughter disappeared right beside her. She lost her daughter, then ended up getting cancer again and passing away without ever seeing her again. Wanda seems totally aware of what's going on when not allowing herself to be absorbed in this fake world. I totally think she DID make some kind of deal (probably with Mephisto). She seems to not want interference. This is gonna get ugly because you know SWORD is going to interfere.

Warning that these (and all the other easter egg stuff I've been posting) are all just theories based off things that have happened in comics and could be viewed as spoilers since there's potential that some of this stuff might actually be what's going to happen. It's up to you how much you want. Mephisto has been the villain big time comic fans have been picking up hints at being the next big villain to replace Thanos! This vid by the same people who have been doing amazing episode easter eggs is so great! They made it awhile ago so the comment about who the beekeeper might be is incorrect as we've seen from ep 4 now who that turned out to be. And some information on who Agnes might be:

Wow, I was not expecting them to go all the way back to the Thanos snap, or the undoing of it, so that was interesting. And of course, good to see Darcy and Agent Woo. This episode did give us a lot of answers but of course raised more questions. I guess the "beekeeper" is still stuck in Westview; I wonder if he'll make an appearance again. BTW, I totally had one of those red, white, & blue jump ropes when I was a kid. I do wonder about the Missing Persons angle. They weren't all existing citizens of Westview, right? It seemed like they were coming from different places. I'm sure someone will freeze-frame and zoom and let us know. That episode felt like it went by so fast. Looking forward to the next one!

I wasn't expecting them to go that far back either! But I'm so happy they did!
I do wonder about the fate of the beekeeper. Wanda rewound time and changed things so I wonder if it kinda wiped him from existence. Lol, and I remember those jump ropes also! They really hurt if you missed and it hit your leg!
The Missing Persons angle totally makes sense now that we're finding out a lot of the people in there are people from outside the bubble. Nope, they weren't citizens of Westview because the cops at the beginning said that Westview does not exist. Maybe part of whatever town had been there? That's something I don't think they mentioned. I don't know if where Westview is was a big empty area (like the field where SWORD set up camp outside it) or if there'd been some other town there. I'm guessing it had to have been an existing town for there to be a whole "cast" upon Wanda and Viz's "move" to this new town.
Did they mention the places? They were going so fast over the casting whilst putting their pics up on the wall. I do remember them saying the real names.
The episode DID go by way too fast! We were all sitting here like, what? That was all? MORE! NOW! XD It was actually only about a half hour episode this time.

Tbh, I think I won't watch those Easter Egg videos anymore since I exprience it being more fun to just see what actually happens. But I'll definitely keep going the rewatch of the latest episode before going onto the next. I know a lot of people thought the beginning of the show being weird but I might miss that sitcom style as soon as the WandaVision "show" will coming to an end, lol. I know I will probably love the show the same after that, just saying that I really really enjoyed this unique style of the show at the beginning! I have one question... Why is everyone calling this one guy the "barkeeper"? Did I miss something? XD I don't see a barkeeper on the outside. So, is there something I don't see?

Post by Hollywood Heidi on Jan 31, 2021 11:49:57 GMT -8
Lol, BEEkeeper, not BARkeeper. The guy who came out of the sewers had bees swarming around him. Remember in ep 4, we finally saw that it was a guy in a hazmat suit, but a hazmat suit did not fit with Wanda's world, so as he was crawling, when he reached the barrier of the town, it changed him from looking like a guy in a hazmat suit to a guy in a beekeeper suit, complete with bees buzzing around him. Unfortunately, that was too out of character for the town also, so Wanda rewound time. I totally understand about you not watching the easter egg vids! You could always go back to them after the whole season finishes, then they won't be spoilers for the show anymore. Maybe a little bit for the direction the whole MCU is going in, but no longer the show. Personally, I like watching them cuz if I'd had time to read the comics, all that rich history would already be in my head and I'd already know what it was I'd be looking for or need to pay attention to. But yah, I can see it being spoilery, which is why I made that mention above.

EPISODE 5 EASTER EGGS!!!
Omg, the episode was SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! I had really hoped and even was expecting it to happen, but actually SEEING it happen!!! I can't describe the level of geek happiness I reached!
And that commercial the episode was so clever! Lagos! That's where Wanda and Cap were in Civil War when she tried to throw and explosive and accidentally hit the building, unintentionally killing people up there whist trying to avoid hurting people on the ground. So the tagline of the commercial is so fitting. "Lagos. For when you make a mess you didn't mean to."
Okay, no doubt about it, Agnes is totally in on what's going on. She's not affected by all the weird stuff. In fact, she seemed a bit controlling at the part regarding taking care of the kids. She seems to have an interest in them with her, take it from the top, you want me to hold them.

The ending definitely blew me away! So glad I remained spoiler-free. I'm really curious about the explanation for it, since Wanda told Vision that wasn't her doing. And I am curious about what they're going to do in the future since the MCU pretty much cancelled any connection between Magneto and his children, Wanda and Peter. They basically cancelled any connection to mutants, as I recall, which might have been a legal/copyright issue...? I loved the reference to "Full House" (the sitcom that Elizabeth's sisters appeared in) with the family picnic out on the lawn. And yeah, it's weird that Agnes wasn't fazed by the twins' rapid aging or like you said, doing another take of the scene. Paul Bettany's Vision is breaking my heart, though. I wasn't expecting Wanda to come walking out and toss the drone at the Director's feet, but that was cool. Dude, just leave her in her hexagonal grieving space. Although clearly it's taking a ton of her psychic power to keep it together and it's beginning to break down. It was interesting that Woo and Darcy somehow knew exactly what went down in the Avengers' battle with Thanos. I dunno, that just struck me as odd. But I would totally watch a spinoff with Agent Woo and Dr. Darcy. They could bring along Luis & Co. from the Ant-Man films as their own version of The Lone Gunmen, and we could get a recap from Luis at the beginning of every episode. "Lagos: For when you make a mess you didn't mean to" -- that was way harsh, Tai.

Wandavision theories. Spoilers for eps 1-5 Rewatched most recent episode again today. Sooooooo good. I totally agree. I need a spin off with Darcy, Jimmy Woo and Monica. So, my current questions that I wana hear your fellow nerdy opinions on: - Agent Woo said there was a person in the town under witness protection. We still don't know for sure who that could be. Potentially Agnes' husband Ralph we keep hearing about?? - Agnes and Dotty both don't have ID's on the board solving the mysteries. Agnes is obvs involved somehow but dunno about Dotty. (There's a character in the comics that I'm almost certain Agnes is based on. The character had someone close to them called Scratch which is what she called her rabbit) - I don't think Evan Peters' character is the X-men universe Pietro. I think he's actually the main villain of the show. My guess is Mephisto, Nightmare or Annihilus? - Monica texted some aerospace engineer for help. Reed Richards?? Victor Von Doom? ? - Monica did not seem best pleased when they mentioned Cpt Marvel? - Monica's scans came back blank. Potentially the start of Photon times?? (Also, in the comic this is based on, they had a robot dog called Sparky which was also extremely cute. When it appeared I genuinely cheered out loud) (Also also, Wanda's kid Billy is one of my fave characters in the comics so I really hope he makes it through this show lol)

Holy crap, I’m consistently amazed at how much time and effort and love the writers of the MCU put into their movies and shows! This vid pointed out a crap ton of more things I totally didn’t catch! There’s a little ad halfway through but it’s only a minute or two.
This one has some really great information on the Infinity Stones! I don’t think this one is really spoilery. It’s mainly history on the stones and connections within the already existing movies that I just never put together! So fascinating!

This new episode was so good!!!!!
Omg, I love Vision so much ever since the show started! It made me literally break out in tears at the scene where he tried to walk out of the Hex and it looked like he was going to die again. I know he's dead, but I don't want to accept it, just like Wanda. On the other hand, he's not human. Maybe there is a chance the MCU could bring him back?
Also, I had to grin every time we saw Quicksilver! Again, can't wait for Ariel to watch this!! The mentioning of their parents made me think of Erik! <3
There are so many goosebumps moments in this show! The ending of the episode, omg! I freaking can't wait to see Darcy in the "show"! XD I just wanna continue watching, gah!
Since I stopped watching the videos about Easter eggs and possible theories, I can't really add anything to that discussion, just expressing here how much I enjoy the show.

Agreed, episode was veeeeery good. Noticed how fake Quicksilver called the kids 'Devil Spawn'!!!!!
The fact that they had the kids in a basic version of their costumes in the comics also was awesome.
I really think, given what Darcy said about Monica's blood work results, the hex is gonna be how the MCU gets mutants. It's happening!!!!!

EPISODE 6 EASTER EGGSAnother amazing episode! Lol, yes, Wes, I caught that demon spawn thing! They're definitely hinting at the kids being made from fragments of Mephisto like in the comics, so I really think that's what they're doing on the show and that somehow Mephisto is involved. Question is, have we seen him in some form or another, or is it only some of his lackeys we're seeing? I really hope Peter/Piedro isn't really Mephisto in disguise as you'd stated before, Wes. I really hope that IS the version of Wanda's brother taken from a parallel universe because her brother in this universe of Earth 616 is dead. It's just too perfect of a set-up for the multi-verse and I just WANT that Peter to live on! I liked the little "Kick-Ass" comment Wanda and Piedro made. The actor who played Wanda's brother in the MCU was also the actor who placed Kick-Ass in that same titled movie. I had NO IDEA though until watching the above easter egg vid, that BOTH actors who played Peter/Piedro were in the Kick-Ass movies; one played Kick-Ass and the other played Ass-Kicker! XD What a crazy, random, happenstance! Wes, every time their kids are on screen, I feel so vicariously happy through you, knowing your fav character has come to life! And yes, this does seem like it could be the start of mutants!! Monica is turning into Photon! Speaking of, who is this guy she's got that she was on her way to meet? Fury, maybe? GAH! I can't wait to find out! I love that Darcy got taken inside! Omg, and the military all turning into clowns and all their equipment into circus tent and vehicles, I was laughing SO HARD! Holy crap. Wanda made the Hex SO much bigger! She went way beyond just where Vision was. What are your guys' thoughts on this ep's commercial? Creepy AF. I think it's referencing the people stuck in the Hex and Wanda's comment to Vision previous episode that she can't control everyone in there all at once. Wanda's like the shark, acting as if caring for the people, giving them food then just disappearing and leaving them there on their own. But that boy on the island is like the people too far outside her current range, frozen in place or stuck in a loop with the inability to do something as simple as feed themselves. What good is the food that Wanda had created in the Hex in the fridges and pantries of the homes she created them if they can't GET to the food? Gah, these poor people outside her range are suffering. The woman stuck in a loop trying to hang a ghost in her yard with the tear rolling down her cheek as this only form of reality that there's a real person caged inside the human puppet she's become. Like you, Tony, it was breaking my heart to see Vision getting torn apart piece by piece because he was struggling so hard to get out of the Hex. Like Darcy, I was yelling for him to just go back inside! I also agree with Darcy on Director Hayward being a total dick. What does he want with Vision? He's been tracking Vision and not Wanda this whole time. Is he hoping that the Mind Stone in Vision's forehead is actually a real recreation and he wants that? Or is he wanting to make Vision into a weapon? Something had definitely been going on with Vision's body, as we saw in a previous ep with Wanda going to retrieve the pieces of him at that facility. I forgot to talk about Agnes! Adding that on here a bit later... It threw me a bit that she seemed to be one of the people frozen out of Wanda's range because I totally thought she was in on it, pretty convinced she's Agatha from the comics. Though she was more responsive than the others, so I'm not unconvinced she's not Agatha. She actually responded to Vision, though in a hazy, distracted way. That was more than anyone else who seemed like they were completely physically locked up. I think Agnes really did take a wrong turn, as she stated, which accidentally got her out of range of Wanda's active area and got herself stuck. I think when Vision "woke her up", she was partially putting on an act. She totally laughed like a witch, also. XD I cannot WAIT for more!
