Okay I watched the latest episode twice today and I have some Pietro/Quicksilver related questions and ponders. The Pietro/Wanda childhood flashback - Wanda didn't quite recognize the flashback so I figured it may have been Peter/Quicksilver's memory (if that can even happen at this point in the verse). But the memory appeared to have taken place in Sokovia. So perhaps a memory of Wanda's but reimagined/twisted? Or purely fabricated by what's going on in the Hex? Peter/Quicksilver is fully aware of what Wanda has created in the Hex. I find that incredibly interesting. I wonder if he is the same Peter/Quicksilver from the X-Men universe or just a version pulled somewhere from the multiverse? Does he still hold any memories from the X-Men universe? I kind of like the relationship he has going with Wanda and hope he's not a bad guy in disguise. Also DarkSideCookie when he said "Mom and Dad would have really loved this" I can confirm - yes, he was talking about Ghosty and Magnet Daddy. That I can confirm. :3.

Hollywood Heidi Haha thanks. Yea I'm suuuuuper hyped that we got some Wiccan stuff. I'm gonna put it out there...I'm thinking/hoping that Monica's contact is Reed Richards. Can you imagine? Hoping these last few eps are longer in length too as they seem to fly by so quick! Ariel in that flashback, their costumes are Black Widow and Nick Fury so based on the timeline of when they were kids, there's no way it could be real. I'm pretty convinced he's either Mephisto or Nightmare and it's just some really clever casting on Marvel's part.

But the memory appeared to have taken place in Sokovia. So perhaps a memory of Wanda's but reimagined/twisted? Or purely fabricated by what's going on in the Hex? I wasn't so sure that it was Wanda not recognizing the story. I think she was looking at him funny because he LOOKS different and I'm assuming acts a little bit different. She was still mussing about him looking different and even straight up asks him at some point why he looks different. Either that, or I was thinking it was a manufactured story to fit with the sitcom feel of relative showing up with crazy stories of the past and whoever is controlling Pietro is putting those random memories into his head and making him spout them out. Along with other comments that Pietro wouldn't say, such as the cruel comments about 'it's not like your husband can die again'. These comments are based off my thoughts before seeing ep 7. I don't think it's Wanda controlling him. She seemed genuinely surprised anyone was at the door and even said to Viz that she wasn't the one who interrupted their conversation to have someone appear at the door. The memory did take place in Sakovia, but I always thought that Peter and his family from X-Men grew up in the U.S. They never made any comments about being from another country and he doesn't have an accent. If I remember correctly, his mom in X-Men didn't have an accent either. Wanda made a comment about his accent, in fact. I'm not so sure Peter is actually aware of anything. I think someone snatched him up from another universe since they couldn't use the one from here (all corpsified and gross by now) and whoever is puppeting Peter is actively working through him, creating his actions and dialogue. The puppeteer knows that Wanda would listen to her brother and that her brother would be able to affect her in a way the puppeteer couldn't. Viz was proving too strong to be puppeted and was starting to interfere with Wanda's compliance, so they grabbed the other person she'd been really close to. I'd like to think this is the one from the X-Men universe that we already know and love. I think he would hold his memories but he really think for himself right now because he's being mind controlled. Also DarkSideCookie when he said "Mom and Dad would have really loved this" I can confirm - yes, he was talking about Ghosty and Magnet Daddy. That I can confirm. :3. Awwwww!!! This warmed my heart. #MakeMaeveCanon XD While we know that X-Men Peter's dad is Magneto, I always thought that MCU version of Pietro and Wanda were not fathered by Magneto. Could be why they look different, plus when the characters first came around, Disney did not own Fox or the rights to X-Men so they did not want to make any connections to X-Men. Of course now that they do, they could alter that but I think it was in their minds up on creation that Magneto wasn't their father in the MCU. It would be so awesome if Reed Richards is her contact! All the easter egg stuff has totally been guessing that based on the background they mentioned of the contact. That would be so awesome, but a part of me thinks that the Fantastic 4 reboot might be too far away for that to be the case. They introduce him now, that's setting some information in stone when I don't even think they've started the writing process, let alone the casting process for Fantastic 4. Ariel, Wes' insight into that flashback is way more in depth. I didn't even consider the costumes they were wearing in the flashback and the timing of when those flashbacks happened. Of course, it could be that the memory is kinda right but some things about it, such as costume and the idea of someone putting fish in your trick-or-treat bag, might have been made up to make the "sitcom writing" more interesting.

EPISODE 7 EASTER EGGSAhhh!! So good! Monica has become Photon! Lol, and the writers, not surprisingly, answer the most obvious of questions regarding Agnes really being Agatha Harkness. They did that in such a fun way! Omg, where ARE the children??? In the comics, they were only around when Wanda was thinking about them. But they seem to exist outside of Wanda's thoughts in the MCU because we had a whole scene where it was only them talking with Agatha. Wanda was totally on some 'Me-Time' thinking about her own issues from the day before and dealing with glitches happening around her. Where ARE the boys now though? That was one creepy ass basement. When she said they were playing in the basement, that's already a red flag. Non-creepy ass basements are creepy ass on their own. Kids don't wanna play in one. A lot of adults don't like going into them. XD Agatha is definitely manipulating Wanda! I think she might be steeling her magic, hence things going wonky around Wanda. I don't think it was only the fact that she vastly increased the size of the Hex. I caught the hexagons on Wanda's comforter right off! Oooh, one thing the easter egg vid didn't catch that I did was the license plate number during the opening titles for WandaVision's newest ep that parodied The Office's opening. I searched 'Marvel' and the license place number '122822' and found this, which points to Reed Richards again! ORIGINS AND NATURE OF OMEGA LEVEL PLANETARY EVENT 122822 [designated “THE PULSE:”] PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT
INTERNAL S.H.I.E.L.D DOSSIER
ORIGINS
The Pulse originated in deep space, but its point of origin is uncertain and estimates vary widely. S.H.I.E.L.D scientific staff, working in conjunction with Reed Richards, is attempting to pinpoint the source by working backward from the minute differences in recorded times of impact and different locations across Earth’s surface.More info about halfway down here: avengers-initiative.fandom.com/wiki/Marvel_XP_Dossiers/S.H.I.E.L.D?fbclid=IwAR1B9IDaSrcNG6KHC58uXR7wMJ6xzfdeVxf3ZglhKstfUrQWGgsXDWm9zzsAww, I just now saw that 122822 could also be 12/28/22 which is Stan Lee's date of birth. <3 Might also be why there was an Event created with that number. The commercial side effects were hilarious! Of course, I looked Nexus up right away after the show. They talk about it in the easter egg vid above. Nexus Beings are rare individual entities with the ability to affect probability and thus the future, thereby altering the flow of the Universal Time Stream. These beings, each referred to as a nexus, act as the keystones of the Multiverse and are crucial to its ultimate coherence and stabilityMore info here: marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Nexus_Beings?fbclid=IwAR3CUgWCUGWLVSFuBzIf2LgpZgc0H1jVJA1I9EEnQfXpYKQgBpZqyrR5oHAHoly crap, the people at Screen Crush who put together these easter egg vids in mere hours are AMAZING! That book and the possible connection to the Doctor Strange movie is crazy! The library in Doctor Strange DOES have each book displayed in a hexagon and there IS a book missing from one of the hexigons! Could that missing book be the one we see in Agatha's basement? That would be such an amazing, detailed connection that I really hope it's true. And their catch of all the things we heard whilst Monica was going through the hex. Actual dialogue from Captain Marvel, etc. GAH! Peter was so creepy in the stinger! I think he's totally being controlled by Agatha! Seems she must have turned him into her own personal watchdog? Part of me hopes he was just being his actual snarky self with his "Snoopers gonna snoop" comment and that we end up seeing him help. I just so badly want this to be the actual Peter from X-Men and I want him to get his own consciousness back.

Yeah, if that book in Agatha's basement is connected to the book missing from the Sanctum Sanctorum, major props for that amount of continuity! I mean, they're sorcerers, Agatha's in a coven of witches -- maybe they visit the same library, I dunno. But apparently Agatha was in the restricted part of the library, using magic that she shouldn't have. Loved the flashback of her in Salem and being put on trial by her coven. Her purple magic reminds me of Regina in "Once Upon A Time." It's clear that Kathryn Hahn is having way too much fun in this role, and she had some great lines. The one about Wanda's wandering accent, for example. Of course, the real emotional gut-punch of the episode was going back through Wanda's past. Her connection to American sitcoms, the bombing of their house in Sokovia, the Hydra experiments with the Mind Stone (and the silhouette of the Scarlet Witch), what happened when she went to SWORD to reclaim Vision's body. So now we have to wonder why Hayward lied about Wanda breaking into SWORD and stealing it. Have we gotten any more clues as to who Agent Woo's witness is in Westview? Oh, and is it true that Kathryn Hahn sings the "Agatha All Along" song? It's still stuck in my head.

I really loved that episode! It was very emotional and had made me cry several times actually.
Agatha is so awesome and the actress doing hell of a job! Her laughter is just THE BEST! XD I think humorous villains are still the best kind of villains, lol.
So sad that there will be only one episode left. On the other hand, we'll be getting more in the next Doctor Strange movie I guess. I also hope for more of Agatha in the future. <3

EPISODE 8 EASTER EGGS!It might have been a while five minutes since I last said it, but, I friggin' love the MCU! I loved being filled in on Wanda's past. I just knew she'd grown up on old sitcoms. Totally makes sense why she formed this reality of hers around them. Everything was always based in happiness and good and the worst things ever got were, what her mom had called, shenanigans. I'd love if the bad times in my life were nothing more than shenanigans! I was really surprised that the Vision we've been seeing all this time was completely created by Wanda. Director Hayward lied about Wanda having stolen Vision's body. What is he up to? I think it's the typical greed for power by having a weapon that far surpasses anyone else. I think the reason he was tracking the Vision created by Wanda in the Hex was because he wanted to understand what was making him function and maybe even to try to get his hands on that version since he couldn't get the original one to work. But damn, he figured out the connection and got original Viz to start working again. Well, original Viz's body. I have no clue based off that short stinger on how the resurrected "Viz" will be. I'm also still in the dark about Pietro! I really hope it wasn't just an illusion created by Agatha. I really hope she DID grab the Pietro from an alternate universe and was puppeting him to act and say what she wanted. Having him be the actual Pietro from the X-Men universe would be such an amazing start to the multi-verse! Loved seeing Agatha's past! Her mother and others in her coven accused her of practicing far beyond her years to a level she wasn't ready for, but her magic being purple while the rest are blue seemed telling to me that there's gotta be more to it than that. I think she made a deal with someone. Even Agatha seemed surprised by the level of her power. OH MY GOSH!!! I just realized something all by me ones-y that wasn't in any easter egg vid. Seems her coven's magic (and guessing the magic of all regular witches) is blue. The magical color emanating from that mysterious book is red. What do you get when you mix blue and red? PURPLE! I think the reason Agatha was so much more powerful than her coven is that it's been enhanced/added to by someone we haven't seen yet. Not sure if she stole that magic or if she made some sort of deal with a powerful entity. Again, the people at Screen Crush did an amazing job on the Easter Egg vid for the episode! I understood so much more of what was going on. Watching the ep, then watching the easter egg vid, then finally doing a rewatch of the ep with all that info in my head has REALLY enriched the show for me! Thank goodness for wonderful, well comic book educated geeks with astounding observational skills! Have we gotten any more clues as to who Agent Woo's witness is in Westview? Oh, and is it true that Kathryn Hahn sings the "Agatha All Along" song? It's still stuck in my head. Oh gosh, I've been so absorbed in Wanda's story that I totally forgot Woo said he's got a witness in Westview! So I have no idea if they've been dropping clues and I totally missed it. I looked it up and yes, Kathryn Hahn was one of the singers! Such a great song! So similar to the Munsters theme song, which I always thought was one of the best theme songs in existence.

: I thought the same as well, it would rather be a missed opportunity in my opinion! We still haven't seen him since the post credit scene with him and Monica, so I have a feeling we'll see him again and hopefully learn if his role means more than what Agatha has stated.
: I haven't seen any, but I am so excited to see who it might be! It might even be someone we haven't really seen on screen as much. I love Kathryn's voice! She was on a season of the Masked Singer and had no idea that she had great pipes!
-I've watched the episode twice now, and I am incredibly intrigued by what we saw of Wanda's interaction with the Mind Stone. It appears that she saw a glimpse of her Scarlet Witch form; I'm also left wondering what else she might have seen.
-I also thought it was interesting when Wanda's magic is creating the Hex that it is her usual signature red coloured magic, however, when the magic pouring out of her creates a new Vision it is yellow. I am wondering if this is due to her interaction(and his connection) with the Mind Stone and how his creation might differ from everything else created in the Hex.
-I am so excited to see how this is going to lead into the new Dr. Strange movie!!!

So I found the series finale a bit...underwhelming. I mean, I'm not surprised that it became an explosion and special effects-laden battle sequence (it's a Marvel movie, after all) but I dunno, it felt a bit meh. Having a philosophical discussion between both Visions during their fight was weird, we never found out who Agent Woo's witness was, Darcy showed up for less than a minute, and Ralph just happens to be a guy who looks exactly like the guy who played Peter in the X-Men movies.
We did get the lead-ins to "Captain Marvel 2" and "Doctor Strange 2." Wanda was confronted with all the pain that her grief was causing others, and it was heartbreaking to know that she would lose it all as the Hex was collapsing. But now she's gonna' go read the Darkhold (SHIELD should have locked that up better) and recreate her sons and cause all sorts of shenanigans with the space-time continuum. At least, we now know where to find Agatha again since she became a fan favorite. She's like the Loki to Wanda's Thor.
Wanda to Agatha: "I don't need you to tell me who I am." Me: "Well, actually you kinda' do. And you wouldn't have known how to cast runes without her."
It was a brilliant series! The premise was very creative and an interesting way to show how Wanda was processing her post-Thanos grief. It really gave Elizabeth Olsen a chance to shine.

EPISODE 9/SEASON FINALE EASTER EGGS!!
And he did another vid of the ending explained:
Overall, I loved the series. I think they did an amazing job, as always, with all the details and connections. The writers, creators, etc., always give me the feeling that they put a lot of time, work, and effort into what they're creating, which makes me appreciate the MCU even more.
It loved seeing those supporting characters from other films that I thought we might not see again. Even neater when they're from different movies where you thought their paths might not ever cross.
We got to see a new superhero come to life and I can't wait to see more of her! I like that her powers were an accidental result of Wanda's Hex.
But I do have to agree, that I was a little underwhelmed. I thought there was too little Darcy, but then remembered that Darcy had been stuck in that truck with non-stop road blocks. Unlike Viz, she couldn't fly passed them. I do like that she showed up at the right time and I laughed so hard at her "Have fun in prison!" line! Such a satisfying scene to see that she got to be the one to stop.
I was also disappointed that Fiedro (fake Piedro) didn't end up being Peter from X-Men universe. That would have been such a brilliant intro to the multi-verse. I do wish there'd been more to him than some wannabe actor who seemed like a loser living in his mom's basement. Though I have to admit I cracked up when he said "Heh, Bohner" to his own name. XD
I really hope what the guy said in one of the videos above ends up to be true. Agent Woo said he had a guy on the inside. It'd be neat of that 'guy' was Ralph Bohner, but that we find out that's not really his name and he's not some immature goof. I really don't see how we'd ever find out one way or another unless they plan to bring him into one of the other D+ shows, which I can't imagine happening.
Mostly, though, I think what was underwhelming was not having been introduced to a big time villain. So much hypothesizing that Agatha was working with someone (most people expecting Mephisto). Agatha did just great on her own, but I was hoping there was someone in the wings waiting to step out and start their role as the next Thanos-level villain in the MCU.
I'm happy to see some form of Viz is still out there. While he's not totally Wanda's Viz (and neither was the one she'd brought to life), it's still a part of him living on.
Well, not my best review/thoughts. Work's getting crazy again but I wanted to get this up before our next MCU D+ treat starts up!
