Beach and ShoreA beach and shore a little ways away from the survivor's camps.Location found in box G3 below: Each box is 3 miles by 3 miles. It takes an hour to walk 3 miles. But also keep in mind that hiking (like that really steep hill to get to higher ground) will take a heck of a lot longer and that if you're running (like from some jungle thing), that you'll get somewhere faster.

Sarah had fallen asleep last night, not long after the adults started to talk. She was scared at first but she found a place to sleep, curling up next to Jessie and clinging to Mr. Floppers. She woke up really early and found herself hungry, she snuck a little something from the wreck and munched on it before walking along the beach Area. It was an okay day and Sarah knew she needed to do something to keep herself from dying of boredom. So she found a few cups and started to dig into the sand on the beach, she made sure it was apart of the beach that had no wreckage on it. She hoped rescue came soon...

Little Sarah
Sarah had built a small little sandcastle with her time, it had come a long nicely. Thou, she wanted to make a bigger castle. it would take a lot more then herself to do it, but she knew people had a lot to deal with and no one had time to make a sandcastle with her. So instead she left what she had made and picked up her things, before heading back towards camp. Wondering if people had come up with a plan.

Little Sarah"Well first we need sand, water and a few digging and carving tools. We can't make a sandcastle without wetting the sand first." he smiled and put the bag of things down. "I found a few cups, and then we can get a few sticks or shells for carving and digging. Now the first thing to know about Sand, is the wetting thing. Because when you add water to the sand, it makes it workable. Also, if you pack down it drains the water more quickly and makes more solid clumps; which makes carving better." She smiled, "if we had time i'd tell you about trenches and stuff, but since rescue will be here soon- we don't have time." Sarah was starting to feel more like herself, Heidi was such a nice person. "My dad and I won three Sandcastle competitions, three years running. Also, my dad is a champion surfer!" Sarah smiled and thought about her dad and how excited she was when he won his competitions. "I found a few cups, and then we can get a few sticks or shells for carving and digging."
"Sticks, we've got plenty of," I said with a nod toward the jungle, "but we'll have to walk the shore if we wanna find shells big enough for digging."
"My dad and I won three Sandcastle competitions, three years running. Also, my dad is a champion surfer!"
"Really? That's so neat! I don't think I'd even be able to completely stand upright on a surfboard before falling. Besides, the beach waters around where I live are so dirty that I shudder at the thought of going in past my knees." I gave a dramatic shudder. "I'm sure you guys took pictures of the sandcastles, right? You'll have to show me pictures of them sometime."

"Sticks, we've got plenty of, but we'll have to walk the shore if we wanna find shells big enough for digging." Sarah smiled and put everything down on a good location.
"Yeah we can do that, i'm sure we got some big shells somewhere. Tho they don't have to be to big, only if we want a huge castle." She smiled as she talked about her dad, coming back to reality and smiling over at Heidi.

"I do have one picture in my backpack, i carry it with me everywhere. I'll have to find it and show it to your sometime - if i can find my backpack." she sighed and started to walk with Heidi along the shore to find some shells.

Clouds form and move in over the island. The sound of
thunder grows louder and it suddenly begins pouring heavy rain.
People everywhere are running for cover.

I walked alongside Sarah, scanning the shore for shells. "Well, we should probably look through the piles for your backpack before we get too involved with sandcastles."
Suddenly without warning, I heard thunder and then it began pouring buckets of rain. I looked up in surprise at the clouds that seemed to have come out of nowhere. Normally, I loved standing in the rain but considering I didn't have a nice, warm, dry house to run into to change or dry off and also considering that this was probably the heaviest rain I'd ever experienced, I thought it best to run for cover.
"Hurry! Let's find some cover!" I grabbed onto Sarah's hand and, thinking about the dead bodies in the fuselage, opted for the treeline.

Suddenly, the trees near the beach start to move as if
something is working it's way along the treeline. It's the
same thing that was making the loud noises and knocking
down trees last night only this time, it is eerily silent.

KATE
***Kate arrives from F3 - Fuselage and Surrounding Area***
Kate had gone to a more secluded part of the beach and waded into the water waist deep. She began to wash away the grime of this morning's ordeal, starting with her hair. Glancing around to be sure that nobody had wandered in that direction, she removed her shirt and placed it over her shoulder as she put her hair up.
She heard someone shouting from the beach and looked over to see the Korean lady shouting something to her. Kate didn't know a word of Korean. She shook her head in confusion and then the woman gestured to Kate and then the part of the beach where the other survivors were. Someone needed her, she was guessing? Kate nodded and the Korean woman stood patiently on the shore, looking away to give Kate privacy.
Kate quickly scrubbed the grime from her shirt and rung it out, putting it back on as she made her way back to the shore. She took her hair down and smiled as the lady handed her a towel. "Thank you," Kate said. The woman nodded and gave a smile in return, then gestured for Kate to follow.

I studied the mango, turning it in my hand. "Well, unless we had a travelling knife salesman check a case of knives aboard the plane, I think we're gonna have to be creative and use a piece of shrapnel."

"Well, unless we had a travelling knife salesman check a case of knives aboard the plane, I think we're gonna have to be creative and use a piece of shrapnel." Sarah made a face, she wasn't sure about using a sharp piece of metal from the plane to cut food. But she sighed and found a piece, walked over to the water and dipped it in a few time. she wanted to make sure that it was clean and not full of sand.

"Thanks, hun," I said, taking the piece of shrapnel. "We should definitely be sure to keep this one for food." I sliced a wedge out of the mango, quickly holding it out over the sand as the juice started dripping and handed it to Sarah, then sliced another wedge for myself.
"Well, here goes." I took a bite of the mango and chewed thoughtfully. "Hmm. Not gonna make my favorite fruit list but it's decent."

"I like lots of fruits but oranges are my favorite. When I was little, my grandparents had an orange tree. Every time we stayed there, I'd keep eating them until my grandma made me stop." I paused to take another bite of mango. "She'd tell me that they're good for you but since their acidic, too many can make you sick." I smiled. "I always think of her whenever I've got a bunch of oranges at my disposal."

"I'm like that with Banana's, i can eat them by the bunch. and i like to dip them in chocolate and sprinkle nuts on them, mom caught me one night. I use to have late night snacks when mum and dad were sleeping, Mr. Floppers warned me, but i just couldn't help it."

"Yeah i could use some yummy chocolate, that granola bar things you gave me was like a tease; but oh so yummy!" she looked over at where her sandcastle was and sighed. "Stupid rain, washed away all my hard work. Think i could use an extra tarp to cover it if we don't finish?"

"That's okay. Like I said, we can make a bigger and better one. And besides, if you're gonna teach me how to build a sandcastle, you've gotta show me from scratch," I pointed out with a smile. "I'm not sure if we'll be able to use a tarp to cover it. I think everything's being used either for shelter or as rain catchers but we'll just fix up and rebuild."
I walked over to the shore to wash my hands. "But hopefully we won't have to worry about that too much longer," I said, staring out at the horizon and willing a boat to appear.

"Heck yah!" I said enthusiastically. I dried my hands on my jeans as we walked back to the supplies. "So where exactly is a good place? Whenever we tried building a castle as kids, the waves always got to it even though we thought we were building far enough away. You've gotta use a spot where the ground is wet, right? Or is that what we were doing wrong?"

"Well, i'm going to teach you by my mom's favorite person in the whole world. Martha Stewart," Sarah smirked, "Sadly we don't have all the things Martha tells you to have like a real shovel. Normally we'd use it for scooping and packing; or a small bucket for shaping towers and stuff. Paint stirrer for sketching and smoothing and straws for blowing excess sand, or measuring spoons or a melon ballers for making windows. Plus a few other things," Sarah chuckled and looked at their basic things, "So we'll have to make due with the tools we have. Do we at least have something to haul water back and forth?"

I looked at her in wide-eyed amazement. "Holy crap, you use all that stuff to make sandcastles? And here I thought it was just shovels and buckets. Speaking of buckets..." I reached into the pile and pulled out a white plastic bucket. "I think this was from one of the drink carts. Probably for ice. Now it's for hauling water back and forth," I said, holding it out to Sarah for her appraisal.
