Woodbury -- Side Streets
The side streets connecting the wall with the main street are, especially in the night hours, an invitation for the rather dirty businesses and bargains. Those who like to just feel safe and protected want to stay away from these areas, as they make up the rather rough side of town in Woodbury.

*** Negan, Nora and Dwight enter from Open Road ***With the emerging chaos around and the guards having their hands full trying to keep everything at bay, Negan, Nora, and Dwight had been managing to clear themselves a way right through it, yet especially thanks to Hazel and the others who had gone in first. The men up at the wall were still too fixated on what might have caused those explosions to detect the real threat afoot, nearing the town bit by bit, dead by dead. Seeking after the living, bite by bite. Of course, Negan was well aware of the possibility that the dogs they had unleashed could as well turn on themselves, but he also knew that Woodbury had enough people able to fight those for them. So this was more about keeping the townsfolk busy than sending anyone to death. "This way!" Negan instructed Nora and Dwight to follow his lead deeper into the side streets with barely anyone around. The only people who were, had already started to panic and either head for the main street to see what was going on, or leave for their houses to lock themselves in. Negan had never been here before, but he had made sure to internalize each of Hazel's tales and descriptions of Woodbury's structure like a map in his head. So there was above all one place he was heading for. Unfortunately, though, that strategy had happened to appear a lot easier when it was only a mindmap inside his head. Eventually, he paused his steps, looking around the place with his features hardened. So far, their plan had worked out well, but with the walker herd coming closer, Negan knew they had to find the Governor within the time frame in which he would be still surprised and not having come up with an evacuation plan. He wouldn't underestimate that man and his authority to make his people choosing him over themselves, not after everything he had learned from Hazel. The first growling sounds already mixed up with the screams when Negan turned around to Nora and Dwight. "We split," he said, then pointing to one of the two different directions the street ahead was taking. "You two go there. Watch out for a green building with archways. I'll take this way." Negan wasn't waiting for a response, nor would he have accepted objections in the first place, but instead, he rushed to take the route that he had chosen to be his while he hoped that Dwight would take good care of Nora for him. He couldn't risk sending Nora alone, in case it would be their way leading to the Governor's house, same as he didn't want her to be on the very front, because, even though the map in his head was not complete, Negan had a feeling that his way would end in that certain crossroad that reconnected the side with the main street, close to a green building with archways, at that.

"We split. You two go there. Watch out for a green building with archways. I'll take this way."
Before Nora could open her mouth to protest, Negan was already off on his own path. She looked at Dwight who only offered a shrug in response. "So how exactly are we supposed to find Ingrid?" she asked. "If she's even here...." No, she had to be here. Otherwise, there would be no point in crossing three states and throwing this community into chaos.
Nora hated to admit it, but their best shot was the woman who'd brought them there in the first place. Hazel knew the layout, Hazel knew the people, Hazel knew the mostly likely place to hide a prisoner. So they needed to find her. Nora kept her gun at low ready as they prepared to leave the shelter of the alley and move into the main street. She had no quarrel with the townsfolk but anyone that lifted a weapon in her and Dwight's direction, would be cut down right away.
She was in a such a rush to turn the corner that she almost ran headlong into a frightened-looking mother and child. "Um, it's okay," she advised, falling into old badge-wearing habits. "Go home, lock your doors, stay away from the windows. Can you do that for me?" The duo nodded quickly and kept moving. Then Nora tilted her head toward the direction she and Dwight were meant to keep going.
