So 5 stars!!! Ah I just love this movie! This is one of them already have seen before I started the MCU watch. If I knew this was a whole universe belonging together, I'd have started with the first MCU movie. But even though, I already knew this one, it was kind of a new experience to rewatch it with the knowledge of the whole universe so far. It's like the puzzle is getting together more and more! So we already have seen 3 of 6 stones! I really love ALL characters in Guardians of the galaxy!!! I even can't say there would be one I love less. Every of them is adorable in their very own way. What is so special on this movie, actually is on every MCU movie as I know today, is that it's funny and serious at the same time! People not watching them, miss something such great! I've cried some tears during the movie on several scenes, and I do it EVERY TIME I rewatch it, and there have been a lot of times so far. XD The beginning scene with Peter's mom, the scene in which Gamora is outside in the galaxy going to die, then the scene Groot is lighting up their way (just out of the beauty of that scene) and of course the most I had to shed when Groot sacrificed himself to rescue all of them, saying "WE are Groot.". Oh gosh, my eyes are filling with tears again even now while writing this up! I love Yondu and Peter together! Yondu should be his real dad, even though sometimes it looks like he wouldn't treat him well lmao. But he has a heart behind that hard wall. Also his weapon, letting it move with a whistle, is so cool! And I love the actor, knowing him from The walking Dead, where he has been great too! I laugh so hard every time I hear Ronan saying "What are you doing there??", when Peter started to suddenly sing and dance right before him! XD Hilarious!!! The end scene with Yondu opening the orb was so great! I loved that he actually wasn't angry, the little troll inside made him smile. Well, and we know there would be a remeet after that! On a side note, I had collected those troll figures myself when I was a child! So the first time I saw it, I had to freak out on that! XD The first stinger was really funny. I so loved to see Groot back! You know what? I've seen the second stinger after the credits for the first time! I do own the DVD for YEARS and never watched it till the end! But as I know now there always are those stingers, I did!

4 stars from me! Really more of a 4 1/2. I'm just trying really hard not to give everything a 5. XD I really loved this movie. It was part of the MCU and had the same heart and wit but had such a different feel. We got to get our first real glimpse into life in the galaxy. We did get Asgard in the Thor movies but that was only a few set locations we got to see. This was some fun travels around the galaxy starring someone who used to be from the planet our beloved Avengers are from. Speaking of, I can't wait for them to all team up for Infinity War next year! It's coming up sooner than I realized! But back to the story. We got to see more of Thanos. Not much, but it gave us a better idea at his power and how everyone fears him. I loved the whole guardians group and how they all started out at odds with each other and eventually learned to work with each other. Hilariously hesitantly, but they got there! I so love Star-Lord. Well, obviously since I named my new car after him! I felt so sad for Peter. Losing his mother at such a young age and seeing him unable to reach out and hold his mother's hand when she took her last breath was so sad. When he finally opened his birthday present from his mom and we heard the card in her voice, it brings tears to my eyes every time. So touching and Peter trying to get everyone to refer to him as Star-Lord went from cheesy funny to heartbreaking and heartwarming. I feel really bad for Gamora as well. She was also taken from her family but was forced to watch them get murdered. Geez. Thanos is an a-hole and 100% a dick. XD Rocket and Groot were so great together, the way they protected each other and the way that Rocket cried over Groot's broken remains. Groot has got to be one of the most hilarious non-communicating characters I've ever seen. His reactions are sometimes so naïve and innocent but then the next minute, he's shisha bobbing a bunch of bad guys and whacking them to death in a corridor. Then he just slowly turns around and smiles at the others all sweet and innocent like he's wondering if he's made them proud. There's so much that can be said about this movie but I'm gonna keep it fairly short so I can watch the next in line. We got to meet the Collector. We'll be meeting his brother in Thor: Ragnarok in November! This movie and Tanileer did give us more insight into the infinity stones. He said "one down, five to go" so we know how many there are and that they appear to be coveted by more than just Thanos. We also got insight into how powerful they are. Stan Lee sighting: He was the "Class A creeper" as Rocket referred to him that was hitting on that younger woman. XD 1st Stinger: First one was dancing Groot who kept freezing whenever Drax turned to look at him. So adorable and hilarious! They sell those dancing Groots at Disneyland. 2nd Stinger: Howard the Duck! Lmao! Poor Collector's whole collection kinda exploded. We got to see Cosmo again also! They have an audio animatronic Cosmo on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at DCA, by the way. Other than that, this is the first time they didn't really give us something in either stinger that was a hint to the next movie.
