***Enters from New York City- Super Stop Shop***
Neal walks down the street with the cookies he’d bought from a nearby baker. He hopes the family will like them. They’re really the only acceptable thing he could think to bring to a dinner get together. For his experience the cookies taste great, but he doesn’t know if Giselle, Morgan, and the father will like them. But they are chocolate chip cookies. Everyone likes chocolate chip cookies, right? He hopes so. He decides not to worry about it though. He’ll find out when he gets to their apartment.

"Psh, you don't have to eat that junk food.", someone's voice was sounding through a small alley near to the mainstreet. It was Charlie, again about to pick up a homeless. "Meow!", was the answer he got. Right. The homeless was not human. It was a cat. A cat just like him. Well, like he has been once. Though the cats in this land seemed to be a little more... simple. "You're better than that, my dear.", Charlie added to the grey-coloured cat, which stopped digging in the garbage for a moment, only to lick his... well, let's call it leg. Yah, this land really was kinda odd, and above all the townsfolk was. They never heard of private sphere it seemed. "Hey, listen...", he tried to get back the lady's attention.

"You're better than that, my dear." Neal frowns at that, wondering what’s going on. He rounds the corner to see a man standing there apparently talking to no one. Great, a crazy person. This is that last thing Neal wants to have to deal with today. Oh wait. There’s a cat there too. He must be talking to the cat. He’s just an animal lover. Neal would be lying if he said he wasn’t relieved. "Hey, listen..." he says as the cat licks itself.
“Need some help?” he calls over. He has some time to spare. He’s more than willing to help get the animal somewhere safe. He could probably lure it somewhere with one of his cookies. He doubts picking it up will be a good idea. It’d probably claw them. That’s when he realizes what just happened. He offered to help someone in New York City. That’s not exactly very common. Giselle must be rubbing off on him.

“Need some help?”, suddenly someone called over. Did the voice meant him? Charlie stood up and turned his head. A young man was standing there, obviously stopped by to seriously offer him help. This was the first time something like that happened since he was in this place called New York City. So for one moment he just stared at the man in disbelief, before he even came to turn around to the other side, as he would have to prove, if there maybe was someone else really was looking like needed help. Then he again faced the man, who was coming closer. Charlie suddenly scented a somehow familiar smell. Familiar, but he didn't remember what was smelling like this before. And in addition, where was the smell coming from? "Meow!", the lady next to him uttered, before she continued digging in the garbage. "I'm not the one needing help.", Charlie said, looking down at the cat like it would be a human homeless.

"Meow!" The cat starts digging through the garbage. The poor thing looks kind of scrawny. It’s no wonder the man wants to help, especially if he’s an avid animal lover which he appears to be. "I'm not the one needing help." Yep, definitely one of the really caring animal people. Neal smiles, glad to have found another genuinely caring person in New York. Between this guy and Giselle, his day was totally brightening.
He bends down near the cat then, looking around for a box. He sees one by the wall. “Go get that box will you? We can carry the cat somewhere safe in that.” Then he pulls out one of his cookies, hoping it will lure the cat in. If not he’s going to have to go get some cat food or milk at a nearby store. “Here kitty kitty,” he coaxes, holding out the treat.

Charlie watched the man in amazement, as he bent down near the grey lady to help. It didn't happened often that someone else but himself cared for the strays, never... to be exactly.
“Go get that box will you? We can carry the cat somewhere safe in that.”
Charlie nodded his head, before he picked up the box by the wall next to him. As mentioned before, the cats in this land seemed to be a little simple-minded and unfortunately didn't react on sentences like 'Comm'on, follow me for a warm place to sleep and something better to eat'.
“Here kitty kitty,”
Charlies jaw fell open, his move to hand over the box dying down, as he heard the man's more than inappropriate try of a conversation. Kitty kitty...? "Man, are you serious?", Charlie questioned, watching the man in disbelief, while the cat started to snuffle at the offered cookie.

"Man, are you serious?" He looked over at the other guy and frowned before looking back at the cat. Oh, he must be talking about the use of the cookie. That wasn't exactly a common way to lure in cats after all.
"It is a bit unconventional," he agreed with a small smile before looking back at his friend. "Hand be the box and I'll scoop her in," he stated, holding out his hand. He was glad that that cat seemed interested in the cookie. He didn't want to be late to dinner after all.

"It is a bit unconventional,"
Charlie's face stayed like stone, still looking at the man. A bit unconventional? If someone would talk to him like that, well, actually he even couldn't imagine someone talking to him in such a way.
"Hand me the box and I'll scoop her in,"
Charlie shook off his thoughts on that and held out the box to the man. "And now?", he then asked seriously clueless. "Shall she sleep in that box, or what is your plan, dude?"

"And now?" "Shall she sleep in that box, or what is your plan, dude?"
"I thought we could take her to an animal shelter," Neal replied as he scooped the cat in the box, careful not to hurt it or let it scratch him up. After all, it wasn't like he had the time or energy to take care of the cat. "Unless you wanted to take it home. But either way, would you mind taking it? I have a dinner I'm supposed to be going to." He didn't want to be late after all, not when Giselle had gone out of her way to invite him. He did feel a bit bad about leaving the other man with the cat, but well he had helped a bit. That was more than anyone else in New York would have done.

"I thought we could take her to an animal shelter,""Unless you wanted to take it home. But either way, would you mind taking it? I have a dinner I'm supposed to be going to."
"An animal shelter?", Charlie repeated exasperated, without reacting to the young man's statement of being in a rush. A loud meow! came from the cat, as she would have understood they were talking about it right now. "I'm sorry, miss, I didn't meant to frighten you.", Charlie then spoke up to the cat in a warm way, before he turned back to the stranger. "You also don't pick up a human child on the street telling it to lock it up somewhere, do you?", he raised his voice. "So better hurry to be at your date on time, before she gets mad. I'll take care of her meanwhile." And with that words Charlie carefully took the cat out of the box. Of course he would take her home for the time being.

"An animal shelter?" The cat reacted to the lough volume, meowing in distress. "I'm sorry, miss, I didn't meant to frighten you." Oh no. He was one of those super fanatics, wasn't he? "You also don't pick up a human child on the street telling it to lock it up somewhere, do you?" Yep, a super fanatic for sure. "So better hurry to be at your date on time, before she gets mad. I'll take care of her meanwhile."
"Just so you know, I'm actually just having dinner with some friends, not some girl. And also, human's are a bit more important than cats, and I don't like you comparing homeless children to animals." He'd been homeless before after all, and he still remembered watching everyone else take care of each other. And their pets. It mad him mad that people would do that, and this was one of those men. "So have fun with your cat. I'm going to go talk to real people, thanks." And with that he started off in the direction of Giselle's house.

"Just so you know, I'm actually just having dinner with some friends, not some girl. And also, human's are a bit more important than cats, and I don't like you comparing homeless children to animals." And who says that? A human of course. But it would have been waste of effort to answer back at that statement anyway. "So have fun with your cat. I'm going to go talk to real people, thanks."
"Oh, I'm sorry for not being real enough for you.", Charlie couldn't resist on giving at least a little bit of backtalk, even though the man was already turned to leave. He also underlined the word real by doing a gesture of quotation marks with his fingers. "Well, then I hope you'll have a nice dinner with your human friends, while this one here got a rancid cookie from you. Good day." Actually Charlie was used to people acting like that, though, to be honest, he was more used to people doesn't stop by to help at all. Anyway. Without looking back at the man Charlie let the cat hop on his shoulder, not caring the scratches it left behind there. Cats are quite different in this land, but he seemed to have a good hand with them despite. "Are you sitting comfortable?", he asked with a friendly smile to the cat, got a meowing as a reply, before he headed home, back to New York Cat's Eden.
