I give this 4 stars, even though I think it wasn't as great as some other 4 star movies before. Actually it was just different, but really good. I liked that there were a lot of biology and physics details. Ants are really amazing in real life too! I really loved all the new characters, especially the bond of father and daughter Pym (and that is even though I actually don't like Michael Douglas pretty much. But we got a Lostie face instead XD). I think Scott was very likeable right from the start too. Also different from the usual heroes. But I didn't like the bad guy in here. I had to shed some tears at the story of Hank's wife. The meeting with the Avenger's building was great! And that they saw him as an intruder, well he was, lol. Right now I really don't imagine a lot of single scenes, so I keep it short this time. Maybe I remember things after your review.

4 stars from me as well! I do love this one. Maybe not as strong as some of the others, but still surprisingly better than I was expecting! I love Paul Rudd. He's adorable and hilarious and he plays the role so well. And of course I love Evangeline Lilly! You got to meet the MCU character I'm gonna play. The characters were strong and very real, with a deep and heartbreaking backstory. I felt so bad for Hope. You could feel her pain. And Hank's as well. He was trying to protect her but only managed to push her away and she grew up feeling so alone and so angry at her father. As a Lostie, I was thrilled to see Evangeline get a Marvel role. Also as a Lostie, I noticed that when Scott was working at Baskin Robbins, his nametag said Jack. Jack... Kate... I do wonder if they did that on purpose! Scott is a lot of fun. He's a good guy but with a bit of a bad guy streak with the stealing. Not bad, really. The reason he'd been in prison was because he pulled a Robin Hood move by robbing the company he was working for to give the money back to the people the company had robbed. It would have been more fair for the corporate people to be put in jail. Yay, Sam! It was so funny, that whole scene where he goes to the warehouse and it ends up that it's the new Avengers base now. I get such a thrill when characters from other Marvel films pop up! I loved the flashback at the beginning with Tony's dad and Peggy looking a bit older and Hank looking younger. Seeing his tie to S.H.I.E.L.D. was great and gave you an understanding why Pym had issues with Stark. Stan Lee sighting: He was a bartender in one of Luis's "knew a guy who knew a guy" stories at the end when he was talking about Sam looking for the man who could shrink. Stinger: Wasp suit!! Yes!! I can't wait to see the sequel with Evangeline as the Wasp!
