Almost went for 5 stars but settled on 4. We're really building up to something that seems like it's gonna be incredible but with only part 1 under our belts, I felt I should hold back.
Not even 10 minutes in and I was teary-eyed! The whole reunion scene when the Oceanic 6 landed. Oh man. I felt so bad for Kate! Nobody there for her. Sayid either, but at least Hurley pulled him over. Poor Kate was left standing alone with Aaron.
Second time I got teary-eyed was the Nadia and Sayid reunion. Omg, he finally found her. Or rather, she found him. It just made the water works worse knowing the outcome.
Got teary-eyed when Claire's mom talked to Jack and when you see that realization on Jack's face that holy shit, Claire was his half-sister! Omg, he finally found out! Chills and tears. Claire's mom even takes the time to admire the baby and she has no idea that it's actually her own grandson. So crazy.
Sun's scene with her dad was freakin' epic. She bested that misogynistic jackass. That was so satisfying.
Lmao, Hurley's parents are freakin' hilarious. They so just don't get it! A freakin' luau themed birthday party? Then Hugo's dad jokes about them talking about making fires and killing boar? Man, they are so clueless! XD
Gah! I can't wait to watch Part 2 & 3! It's a two hour episode and I have a lot of reading to do before I get to watch so I'm not sure if I'll get to it today still. It's gonna be torture to wait, just like it was when it first aired! This show is so freakin' epic. It's like a really good movie so it's always hard to wait to watch more.
Can't wait to see what's at the Orchid station, besides that murderous sociopath, Keamy. Can't believe Ben just walked right in. But like he said, he always has a plan. I've never seen anyone talk himself out of being killed so many times. It's insane and impressive!
Are they really going to "move the island"? How in the world... I really like that the writers are smart enough to bring up things that viewers would have questioned, like Hurley asking why they didn't just move the island before and Ben explaining that it's dangerous and a last resort. Yah, something that seems to go against the natural laws of physics, I'd definitely can see it being dangerous.
The Oceanic 6 are all split up right now! Just goes to show how much more will be unfolding in parts 2 and 3. Jin, Sun, and Aaron on the freighter, Kate and Sayid captured by the Others. Hurley at the Orchid.
So excited to watch part 2 & 3! Can you believe there's still two more seasons? It's amazing to consider how much more will be happening to these people.
