5 stars from me!
I watched this weeks ago so it's not as fresh in my mind. Definitely a great episode that made me feel so bad for Locke. He had such a tragic life. Always starving for something to wholeheartedly believe in and always putting his faith into the wrong things and people. He was used and abuse by his birth parents and by others consistently throughout his life.
Well, he's alive again though. Or is he? Is it really Locke walking around the island again or is he like Christian, Jack's father? Is that Locke or is it the smoke monster parading around as him? He's certainly acting like Locke.
Widmore and Ben were the latest two people to use him, both for the same reason of getting to the island. It was heartbreaking to see him setting up a noose for himself, ready to end it all because this final failure was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Locke wanted nothing more than to be important and needed. Widmore and Ben both played to that need. Then, shockingly, Ben completely turned on Locke and killed him. I did NOT see that coming. Especially not directly after Ben had put so much effort into talking Locke out of killing himself.
Off-island and again Locke was back in a wheelchair. It was heartbreaking to learn that Helen had died. It was so neat to see Walt looking so grown up and to see that old connection and to see that Walt truly is special. He seems to be able to dream about the future, mentioning seeing Locke surrounded by people who want to hurt him. I think this is something that'll be happening back on the island. Sad to learn that nobody had gone to see Walt and that Walt was kinda sad about that. Really sad that Walt doesn't know his dad is dead but Locke let him continue to believe he wasn't.
It was funny when Locke went to visit Hurley at the mental hospital. Hurley assumed he was talking to another ghost.
Well, Abaddon didn't last long, thanks to Ben. It was neat to see all the pieces of the puzzle come together and to see how much of a role Abaddon played in getting Locke to that island. Again, makes you wonder if it was really meant to be or if Locke's importance was a miscommunication from Locke himself in the past when the island was time jumping. It was this weird Catch-22 where Locke was told by Richard that he was important but Richard had thought Locke was important because Locke had told him he would be. So sad to realize that perhaps this was a man who led a tragic life and had not really had importance.
Favorite quotes/moments:
LOCKE: I was angry. I was... ob-obsessed. KATE: And look how far you've come.

5 well-deserved stars!!!
As it has been a while I watched this one, and recently feel too lazy to write about every episode right away, I remember not everything but that I really loved and enjoyed it! I might keep my next reviews shorter than in the past as for my lack of time though...
I felt bad for Locke and what Ben did to him, but HOLY COW, I was so surprised and flashed over what Ben did to him! xD Didn't see that coming either! Well, you know nothing could make me hate that man, not even a murder. Maybe especially not a murder lol. Please don't blame me for my psychosexuality. Bahaha, I like that new term. It was so sad when Locke had to watch Helen's tombstone... RIP Helen.
