I give this episode 4 stars. Also, Sawyer episode! <3

Ah, I love this man! As the MIB stated, he's the best lier of em all. Well, right after Ben at least, lol. Maybe that's why the two of them are my favorite characters. XD Yah, most probably.

I loved how Sawyer played tricks with practically everyone and that it wasn't obvious who exactly he's "serving" or rather telling the truth. I was actually surprised when he told MIB everything about having met Widmore and what they had been talking about. It was interesting to see him doing the same thing in the flashsideways with the woman in the beginning. Actually, at the start of it I almost forgot we'd be seeing a flashsideway and not a flashback like before, because it was so similiar to his past. I woke up then when he said 'LaFleur'! XD

So cool to see Sawyer as a police officer, with Miles as his partner, at that! What a duo! Also, it was funny to see Liam asking for his little brother at the police station. XD

I have really no idea what to think of Claire. When she apologized to Kate later, I was expecting her to attack her with the gun around her shoulder every minute. I don't think she'd come to her senses again so easily. It was kinda creepy how she grabbed Kate's hand before, lol. Emilie is quite good at playing the creepy gal! Also, I was wondering about Sayid because of his apathetic reaction when Claire attacked Kate. Btw, Sayid might have become one of my favorite characters by now, as well.

Charlotte! Yah, but I didn't like seeing her with Sawyer tbh. XD

Who else is getting feelings of sympathy towards MIB? XD Okay, got it. It's only me, lol. Anyways, would be looking forward to learn more about his backstory with this crazy mom.

Any Sawyer episode is a great episode! Sawyer and Miles seriously need their own cop show! Yet, Sawyer's story is still so tragic as he's still chasing down the man who ruined his family. And as always in real time, Sawyer is playing every man for himself as he double crosses everyone just to get off the island. The man has been through so much, I don't even blame him anymore. He just wants out.

That's what I love about MIB, Tony. What better form for MIB to take on for the candidates than of a sympathetic, trusting friend? Looking at him sometimes, you almost forget he's not Locke. I love it!

I loved the little hints to the other life in the flash sideways! Love that James' code word is Lafleur! And he's reading Watership Down! Omg, and him watching Little House on the Prairie, that was so adorable and sweet! Remember when Kate made fun of him for adorably referring to the show as "Little House?" She just couldn't imagine James watching such a wholesome show like that. XD

Love that he and Kate are crossing paths in this other world and there's this inexplicable draw. Makes you wonder if there's remanence of the other world in this flash sideways. Funny how this is twice now that Kate and Sawyer meet under interesting circumstances. Remember the first time when they first bumped into each other in the airport elevator? James let her go and totally covered for her. We had no idea at the time that he was a cop! Definitely something that seems to be coming through from the other side for him to ignore his badge and let her go.

Love Miles as his partner and I totally agree that I'd LOVE to see a James/Miles cop show! XD

It was great seeing Charlotte again! Though it was so weird to see her hooking up with James. Where's Daniel in this world? He and Charlotte totally need to find each other! And Liam! Aw, I felt so bad for him, trying to get help in finding his brother. Guess he did decide to go with Charlie to America for that comeback tour in the flash sideways? Or went to America to find him after he'd been gone too long, probably figuring things didn't go well as Charlie had said that they won't take them back without Liam.

Even in this other reality, James is still obsessed with finding Sawyer/Anthony Cooper. He's obsessed and can't let it go (I can't blame him) but at least he's not obsessed to such a destructive level as he was in the other reality.


Clare is scary AF. MIB has turned her into a full, crazy ass loon. It was really alarming to see Locke/MIB smack Clare so hard like that. I mean, she did just try to kill Kate but dayum!

And MIB talking about his mother. It's funny to think that MIB and Jacob had a mother. I guess even supposed immortal beings had a mother at some point.

Ugh, Widmore! Seriously, what an awful, awful man. Not even you could like him, right Tony? I loved how James is totally manipulating both parties. It was so surprising and refreshing to see someone tell the full truth to both sides. No tricks, just laid it all out, but at the same time, is playing them against each other. It's like a way of letting them destroy each other whilst he steps aside and watches it happen.

Something I read in my Lost Companion book that I totally would never have caught, one of the books we see in James' place in the flash sideways is "A Wrinkle in Time" which he'd also seen in his possession at some point on the island. That book really resonates with Lost.

Jacob had told Hurley to go to the lighthouse with Jack and turn the dial to 108. The name we see on number 108 is Wallace. The author of "A Wrinkle in Time" is Charles Wallace.

The writers love doing those intricate details!
