3 stars from me; not like I thought this episode was weak or something, just not as great as some others that got 4 from me. It was great to see everyone reunited on island, especially Jin and Sun! Aw, they are so cute together. Glad they finally found each other. <3 Makes me smile every time to see Ben and Locke together, even in this odd scenario in the emergency car, or rather unusual than odd. I really hope for more Ben for the rest of the season! Desmond was really acting creepy with Claire in the flash-sideways, lol. I bet she only said yes at some point so that she would get rid of the stranger. XD I love Desmond so much. I don't know what to think of Claire accompanying the team trying to get off-island. At this point, she seems so crazy. XD Good decision to take away that gun from her, Kate! I wonder what Sayid did with Desmond, but I'm sure he had allowed him to talk sense into him with his questioning. Can't wait to learn what had happened after that in the next episodes. Sawyer might seem to change for the worse again, but I gotta say that I understand him.. Feeling sorry for him.

4 stars from me, though I do agree that it felt a little weaker than the average episode. I think this was more of a story progression rather than action episode.
Yes, so great to finally see Jin and Sun reunited... again! XD Those two! So sad that they keep getting separated but Jin seems adamant about them never being apart again. They were apart for such a long time this time!
We did get to see a bunch of connections in the Flash-sideways! Jack and Claire finally meeting (and Ilana there also). Can you imagine finding out during a will reading that you have a half-sibling? Even having no idea that one of your parents had been having an affair? Geez. Well, he got that call and had to take off... where he bumps into Locke once again! The very man he'd given his card to and offered his help to.
We saw Kate still in James' company after the last episode and then James capturing Sayid, so that's Sayid, James, and Miles reconnecting. Locke and Sun were wheeled next to each other in the hospital and Sun recognized Locke, and mentioned something about distrusting him, even though I don't believe they've met in the flash sideways. Seems some of the original reality is seeping through?? So really, a lot did happen but it just didn't feel like a lot happened.
So many of our people are reconnecting in the flash sideways and Desmond is continuing to play a big part in it!
It was heartbreaking to hear MIB talk so lowly about Locke. Poor guy, a pawn his whole life. Interesting that he said that Locke was a sucker, not a believer. I kinda thing that's true. Locke just always wanted so hard to believe in something that he became the sucker pawn playing into MIB's hands. So sad.
Claire is still creepy. That girl is gonna need some major therapy when/if she ever makes it back to civilization. Definitely before taking on the responsibility of being a mother.
We've got the comment again about it being too late once you let MIB talk to you. It seems to be true so far. Even though a character doesn't think they're on his side, they still end up finding their way to his side, whether truly being on it or now. Like Jack. I know he returned because he wants to figure out what MIB is up to rather than just fleeing, but the point is, he DID return, which puts him back into MIB's play as a pawn.
So sad that they tried to leave Claire out. I mean, I understand. She's creepy and seems a little psychotic now, as if she's gotten some of the MIB darkness in her, but does she? She didn't actually die like Sayid and get resurrected using a shady method that held the risk of that darkness overtaking you.
Jack is crazy talking like Locke with his comment about the island not being done with them yet. I kinda don't blame James for telling him to jump off his boat, lol.
I have to mention again how perfect the casting is of Jack's son! That kid looks so much like him and when they were talking next to each other in the hospital, he walks and carries himself so much like Jack also!
