Sarah sat on the Sand with Mr. Floppers, watching as they set up for the next volley of waves. There are three finalists left, Two time champion Shaw peters, two time champion Percy Oconto and three time champion Derek Appleton. Sarah was really proud of her dad, though it had been an extremely stressful day for her. First, she had to move place to place to stay away from these boys. They were trying to take Mr. Floppers away, then she had to hoist a tea party and get dressed up for the occasion. All her animals were coming to the event; Roger the Gerbil, Mr. Gillian her frog, even Mr. Floppers himself. But right now it was her time to relax and watch her dad win.

"Sarah, Daddy is about to start." Sarah got up and moved to sit next to her mother, standing up to watch her dad go.

“Alright what you’ve all been waiting for, Derek Appleton. He will have to do well to beat the last two competitors. 7.0 and a 8.0 he will have to at least get a 7.5 for each of the Judges to beat them.” Sarah looked up at her mother and smiled wide, her mother had such love and concern every time Derek got out on the water. A few years ago her dad had a close call and almost died, though it wasn't his fault. Some jerk got in his way and knocked him from the board.

"Look Mr. Floppers, its daddy!" Sarah moved down with her mom to the shore and watched what her daddy did best. She sat down right before the water hit her toes, and watched. He took every wave and mastered it, no close calls, no anything and when he was done- swam back and smiled as he reached his family. "Daddy you did good!" He lifted her up and spun her around.

“Thinks so lil’ one? Lets see if the judges thought so.” Derek smiled and watched as the board lit up. 7.7, 7,5, 8.0, 9.1, and last 9.0... Total of 8.7.

“DADDY YOU DID IT!”
